Minos Palace Resort - Adults Only

Beautiful property with fantastic views.

Had to pay to use indoor gym. Outdoor gym was free but had minimal equipment .

Minos Palace resort is incredible. The views are stunning and it's a very serene and relaxing place to be. The staff was great/attentive. The gym is a bit small but it's open air and looks out to the water, which is neat. We loved the breakfast buffet. My husband and I didn't want to leave!

It feels more like a sanctuary than a hotel. Wonderfully designed and decorated, amazing staff and a beautiful small beach.

The Hotel is modern, has great style and is Boutique. The food was excellent. We normally don’t love Buffet and prefer a la carte (Both is available at the main Restaurant), but this Buffet was exceptional. Small platters that were regularly replaced keeping the food warm, fresh and appetizing to look at. The Spa was great and we had the best massage (shout out to Ntinos and Sara). The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is well staffed which means all transactions happen very timely.We also really liked the leasure programs they offered all through the week (From Yoga to Body Pump, Wine Tastings etc.).The beach area is intimate and beautiful.We are definitely planning on coming back.

We loved all of it. One minor thing would be the activities schedule which wasn’t always accurate. There is a PDF version as well as one on their website which never aligned. That just caused some confusion and resulted in us setting an alarm in the morning for a class which didn’t take place or missing the mixology class which took place on Tuesday instead of Wednesday as stated on their website. However- it’s really minor stuff and not worth „complaining“ - just a nudge for a tiny area of improvement.

Amazing hotel, very clean and modern, staff is super nice and attentive. excellent culinary with lots of options for vegetarians too. the infinity pool and the private beach was dreamy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Minos Palace! The location is fantastic with a private beach, the gardens are very beautiful and well kept, and the breakfast and dinner buffets are really good. We loved the yoga classes and the wellness treatments and facilities. We usually like to explore during our holidays but this time we stayed at the hotel all the time except a quick diving trip. We are definitely considering coming back again for a relaxing break!

The gym was outside and quite small/limited. We would have loved a bigger and air conditioned gym available to all hotel guests.It would have been nicer if the wellness facilities included an actual sauna instead of/ in addition to the infrared sauna. The cold plunge is awesome, but a sauna would make it possible to do sweat and cold plunge cycles.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and overall had a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the outdoor pool and beach access are truly stunning. The room was very clean and well equipped, and the staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay.

If we had to point out one downside, it would be the food. It was unfortunately disappointing compared to the rest of the experience — both in terms of quality and value. We tried different places at the hotel, it was simply not good and overpriced. Another small downside: the TV in the room is very small and doesn’t feature Netflix or any other app, just some boring linear channels… a bit disappointing in this price range.

Not what I expected, the food and beverage prices were way too expensive, the beach sand and water must be better attended to (not clean). To many steep steps dangerous, many areas have nothing to hold onto. How do you expect an elderly couple to go to the beach area. At the beach we had trouble locating towels and there was nobody to assist us. Unlike the pool area, which was very clean and well attended, too.

The facility is amazing very well designed and everything is on the concept of longevity and health. The spa is unique and nothing we experienced before. Rooms are big, bed is extremely comfortable, and the food is fantastic. Definitely will be back there. The staff is amazing, especially the front desk manager.

Everything! We had such a great experience. Friendly staff (really nice people there), amazing food in buffet, great sundbeds located in both beach and under the trees, amazing garden, amazing landscape. Definitely worth to visit

There are limited options to eat in beach bar, having lunch had been an issue for us at the beach :(

I loved everything about , smell of lavender, staff was helpful and friendly, pool and the view was overwhelming,,I love the fact that upgraded our room to a wonderful suite Would surely recommend it ..

Good facilities overall, restaurants were very nice and the reception area and pool bar were majestic. Hotel itself has a nice landscape and exterior design.Food was very good. Staff attentive when requested.

The room we stayed was not efficiently designed. Bad electric outlet locations. Shower is a tub which is not ideal for a summer resort as water always floods the room. The room is spacey although wardrobe is not enough and bathroom rather small compared to size of the room. Terrace was lovely. Staff was attentive although unorganized. When in beach there was no one attending to the beach except to deliver orders, there was no intuitive approach at the beach whether we like to order something or had ice for our bottles or need new glasses etc. No tables to put drinks at the beach in between sunbeds, no foot water fountain while exiting the beach....Also the umbrellas did not close they are fixed, so need to move sunbeds all the time whether you need shade or sunbed.

The property is an oasis, and just as advertised. Coming from the US I had very high expectations and they met them with their amazing customer service. I have never been anywhere with such excellent service. They went above and beyond anything. We came in late and they made sure we had a beautiful dinner. Their spa was a 10/10 experience, the salt rock room! Excellent! The massage one of the best I’ve ever received. De-stressed is an understatement! Now the most important part, our honeymoon. Without asking they went above and beyond and placed a heart on our bed with flower pedals, champagne and even a healthy welcome drink upon arrival. My fiancé has never been to Europe and the flight was very long and they immediately made us feel the most relaxed! Their app was seamless and the touch of culture was excellent. Such amazing staff I felt like I was in a dream! The views, AMAZING! I would 100% come back! I really was disappointed that we only stayed for 4 nights! I would spent a lot more time at this resort next time. Also Agios was amazing and had a wonderful lake we went for restaurants as well! We stayed at 3 resorts and different cities in Greece and by far this was our top selection!

Good location, really quiet and romantic, have an amazing beach access

The prices of the food and beverages were really high

The breakfasts were spectacular! My daughter got sick with vomiting and feeling poorly for 24 hours after eating our first night’s dinner of blacksprinkled calamari.

The hotel location is unique. In a peninsula, it has a small private beach for the guests that is very quiet and comfortable. Although the hotel manages to seem isolated, it is just 5 minutes by car from the village of Agyos Nikolaus, a great option for restaurants, bars and a lively night life. Service is exceptional, we felt so welcome all the time and all our requests were carefully addressed. The restaurants and bars at the hotel are also great, although with some steep prices. We loved our stay and do recommend this hotel in Crete. It has it all for a delicious stay.

Location is fabulous. Hotel design is absolutely amazing. Very good and varied vegetarian and vegan dishes. On an island with so many luxury 5* hotels, this feels like another league.
