Pros +
- Terrible experience
- The hotel had lots to explore, with multiple pools and water slides and multiple bars and areas to get food. The food was delicious with enough options to satisfy and the all inclusive drinks were great. The room was cleaned daily and always to a great standard. The staff were very assistive and never hesitated to help with taxis/ public transport or directions. A beautiful view from the buffet restaurant and within walking distance from the main strip/ beach. Would definitely visit again.

Cons -
- Our stay was really disappointing – honestly terrible. The front desk staff was just awful. We booked and paid for 4 rooms but were given only 3. Instead of the two rooms we paid for, they said they gave us a “family room,” but in reality it was a smelly basement room with a strong sewage odor, one bathroom, no privacy – and this was supposed to be for three adults who had paid for two separate rooms.Nobody apologized, nobody took responsibility. The only thing they told us was “this is what you get, and you can leave if you don’t like it.” This happened at 8pm, when we were 13 people, including 6 kids under 5 years old. Where exactly were we supposed to go at that time?Only after two days did they finally give us the rooms we had originally booked and paid for. But they never refunded the money for the first two nights we didn’t get what we paid for. They offered some kind of so-called “compensation,” but it was useless – the bare minimum would have been to refund the money we paid for rooms we never got.It was just shocking. No apology, no responsibility, nothing. We even tried to get Booking.com to help us get the refund, but that didn’t work either. In the end, we paid for something we never received.Other than that, the hotel itself was just okay – nothing special, and definitely not enough to make up for the horrible way we were treated by the front desk.Overall, a really bad experience. Not worth it at all
- There was often a few encounters with wasps throughout the day and occasionally a hornet. Personally felt a little on edge when they were present but not to the extent it was detrimental to an enjoyable day of relaxing.
- We booked two superior triple rooms at the same price for two families with a child and a baby. We got one room smaller than the other. The hotel did not allow us to put a baby crib in the small room because the room is too small according to them. They accused us of not specifying in the order that we wanted a baby bed - even though we did ask for it. Receptionists were not nice. The free WIFI was slow and we had to pay for WIFI to browse YouTube. The food was not tasty and we had an upset stomach. Alcohol was chargeable except for two low level cocktails. There was no free water for two at night.

The best part of the resort was Marrakech pool, only for the adults, with the very chill music and the nice bar. At this pool the choice of all inclusive drinks is smaller, there is a plenty of other drinks, but you need to pay for them. Other pools next to the snack bar and blue lagune bar are a little bit crowded and you should make sure to leave a towel eariler. Also, at these pools you have diferent activeties during the day and every night. At this pool you have few coctels, beers, wine, juices, included, and coffies etc..The resort is not too big, but not small, just a perfect size. There is supermarket open 24/7, and a little gym with AC that can be usefull for some quicks workouts on your holidays. The rooms are not to big, but big enough, and with the fridge, big closet, hairdryer, I would say everything you will need at the room. And a nice terace that you can sit at.There is a laguage room where you can leave you suitcases if you are checking in earlier or leaving later and use the all inclusive facilities, except room of courseLocation is a little bit out of faliraki centre, so you will need to walk down and up hill to the closest beach, or try to find a public bus, which are so confusing and usually so late at Rhodes, while the taxi were a bit expencive to the any place we went.Food has a lot of choice, breakfast usually similar but with few new things every morning, and I believe everyone can find something.. Every day there is a fish made different way and was so delicious..Dinner every night with different theme, for excample Asian food, International, ect.. only the desserts were quite poor, and if you come late maybe you wont even find anything. The staff at the recepcion soo nice, also at the restaurant and bar.
The hotel organizes 3 buses a day to the faliraki, but the last one is at 5pm which is too early, and from faliraki at 5:05 pm.
Marracesh Oasis pool area was amazing, saved our holiday completely. Though hard spirits were not included there for all inclusive. Also pancakes at breakfast were amazing and Maria in pool bar!
First room we got had mold in it, luckily we managed to change the room. Heard other had same issue and they got reply ”you can change hotel, we don’t have more rooms”. Staff was tired of their work, not friendly, helpful or professional. Only when the manager comes to observe, they try to serve you decently. They even lied about how we could go to Marmaris and that we need Visa even as Finnish citizens we should not need it. 24/7 shop at the hotel was not open 24/7 and that is the only shop near by. It was closed whenever a group was checking in for 30-45 minutes. Snack bar meat was probably frozen as they were already cooked once and taken from a bucket to only heat it up. Pork was often raw and disgusting. Food overall was below average, compared to real restaurants in Greece. In three person room, you only get one key and you cannot cool the room without the key. So after hot day at pool you need to suffer from hot room for 1-2 hours and stay in the room while waiting it to cool. Lot of stairs and no help with luggage from staff. One day pancakes ran out 1 hour before breakfast was over..I mean pancakes take only flour and eggs.. How can all inclusive hotel run out of those? Same food for children every day: spagetti and bolognese.
There are 4 different pools and one of them was exclusive to adults only. Marrakech had an amazing ambiance and the spa in there was something out of this world. The food was delicious and varied. All inclusive opportunities are also good for food and soft drinks. There are snacks such as gyro, pizza, fries etc. all day long. Which means you cannot be hungry. The staff was sincere and polite. The environment and rooms were clean. Also they gifted us a bottle of wine because it was our honeymoon which made us super happy.
Soft spirits like beer and Wine were somehow not effective in the matter of making you drunk or at least a lil bit tipsy. So if you want alcohol you have to pay for it.After a few days, you feel like you are eating the same thing over and over again.Entertainment for kids might be finished earlier but c'mon they can't make everyone happy right?
Very nice hotel, helpful staff. Food was very good. Everyday, in the evenings there were also different dinners like Indian, International, Greek, Mediterranean. Everyday nice and interesting entertainment.
Pools were nice and reception was helpful.
The food was not good. The hotel claims that they don’t want to part of wasting. But because it is not good a lot of it gets wasted. A lot of the main food tasted frozen or the deserts for example extremely sweet. The hotel also safes a lot on getting the cheapest drinks ever e.g not even a Coca Cola is included and is only available for extra charge. The local beer Zythos Vap was okay but then the it tasted flat, probably because the barrel was old. You can of course get better drinks if you pay extra but they’re missing the point of all inclusive.Further, there’s no outside sitting area available to enjoy for all inclusive guests in the evening after the restaurant closes. The only place available is Marrakech bar were everything is payable again.
The Venezia Hotel Resort is well maintained. The hotel reception team were fantastic and big thank you to all of them.We were able to arrange trips from hotel reception time, and the prices were very competitive. Pick up and drops off were from the hotel and a great variety available if you are interested in seeing all of Rhodes and the island of Symi.
The hotel resort is not close to the beach, and the hotel does offer a bus service three times a day to take residents into Falariki by the beach. The timings of the bus service are not convenient as the timings clash with breakfast and lunch timings and the last bus into Falariki is 5pm and the return bus back to the hotel 5.05pm.The food served in the restaurant for lunch and dinner was of poor quality. Being a 4-star resort hotel, it was unacceptable. Also, if you do not go for lunch and dinner at the opening times, be prepared not to get any food as it runs out quickly and is not replenished. The all-inclusive drinks, both alcoholic and soft drinks, were absolutely disgusting. You can purchase better quality alcoholic drinks and soft drinks from the bar in the restaurant and the hotel shop.Entertainment, if you can call it, that was a complete disaster. We spent most of our time outside the hotel resort and went into Falariki Town Centre for our meals and entertainment. The beach in Faliraki Town Centre is really niceTaxi's cost 10 Euro's each way into Falariki and back to the Venezia Resort Hotel. We have never ever felt so disappointed, and we would not stay at Venezia Hotel Resort ever again.
Thank u for your hospitality. The food and drinks.very good staff did their best .with their smile .and hard work.thank u again.
Very comfortable bed, spacious room, balkony with sea view , waterpools, animations, very good food , very nice service
Nothing was clean in the room
Everything food poor private pool dirty at the bottom reheated food in snack bar. Pictures on website does not show a true picture of the complex. Rude staff.
The food breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was fantastic, the All Inclusive offering was very good. The swimming pools were lovely and the kids especially loved the water slides. Will definitely be going back.
Rooms could have been a little bigger for the family room.
The private pool was brilliant. The food was very good especially the fresh salads. The resort was very clean and the staff were very friendly.
The location was a bit too far from any other bars, restaurants or shops.
Pools were excellent, certain members of staff (waitress in restaurant especially but also waiters and bar staff) were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel felt roomy and there were plenty of sunbeds so no ridiculous queues. Also easy to extend our room (for a fee) which meant we could keep using the facilities until our evening flight. Our kids loved the water park slides so that was excellent. Wifi was excellent also. Entertainment in the evening was hit and miss - enjoyed the karaoke and film night, not the others though.
Some staff (reception, the lady serving the pizzas by the pool) were pretty miserable and could do with a few more smiles. The cleaner was pleasant but in the second half of our stay only changed our towels and didn't empty the bathroom bin (important in Greece as you can't flush toilet paper!) even though we were not in the room most days when she came. The food was fine but we've experienced more choice elsewhere. There was always enough to eat but nothing special.
The food was very good quality and extremely tasty. Staff were polite and friendly.
We had a room that came with a rooftop balcony with a hot tub. There was no shade on the balcony until the afternoon, I think the hotel should provide a parasol OR a retractable shade from the roof. The balcony also needed some pegs or hooks to hang clothes and towels etc. there was a large fridge and freezer on the rooftop terrace but it was a long way to the bars to get water and other drinks to put in the fridge. Perhaps some more refillable bottles could have been provided. There wasn’t a lot of choice of foods at the buffet restaurant.Should not be called “ALL inclusive” it’s more like “SOME inclusive”. For E.G. there is a list of al a carte cocktails that you have to pay for and rose wine is not included either. The fruit juice at breakfast is synthetic and very sweet rather than proper fruit juice.
I very much recommend the aquapark and the food! The staff was very friendly, it looks like the "big daddy" set high quality culture :)I had the opportunity to enjoy great evening gigs during which my children were safe in the facility's.And the breathtaking sunrise from the balcony!!
Too hot paths without the flip-flops... come on! It's Greece in the middle of summer ;)
The staff are so friendly from the housekeeping team through to the bar and restaurant staff, they make this place worth it especially the young woman working in the main restaurant setting and cleaning tables. In regards to rooms we booked a standard and a superior...this is when it gets interesting, the superior is bigger for sure in regards to sleeping room but the standard bathroom is nicer and larger maybe a refit is due in block 5? For food it is ok...nothing that i would call amazing but plenty of choice for the adults and children, the fresh fruit was a great addition especially the fresh oranges and kiwis, overall this is an ok hotel if you have the expectation of an all inclusive with a low price and not looking for something special...this is the kind of hotel i would take a gf when i was in my late teens early twenties
Entertainment team or whoever manages this needs sacking....same activities everyday with no variation and i mean monday is the same as tuesday/Wednesday etc, the water polo is a health and safety accident waiting to happen with people being constantly hit whilst on the loungers, i watched a poor woman take the ball to the face. The evening music is the same playlist every night which just gets loader and loader they cannot mix music and jumps from one song such as sweet caroline into baby shark...they have no sense of sound levels either, greek law allows music upto 11pm within a 50dcb limit...the dj frequently ignores this which results in a call or message to the hotel contact where within minutes the volume is reduced to a loud yet acceptable level...due to this i would say this hotel is ideal for families with older children in their late teens as you will be kept awake at night until 11pm every night, maybe this could be compensated for with newer sliding doors with acoustic insulation, ultimately due to this the target clientele for this hotel is a little confusing...do they want families or 18-21?
Staff was very nice in the hotel. The booking staff was difficult to engage with. Property was great value for money.
The booking staff and booking experience as very difficult to deal with
Absolutely enjoyed my holiday from beginning to the end .the staff exceptional the room was perfect .the food was the best I have had at a all inclusive
