Aethrio Sunset Village - Oia

This is the best place to stay in Oia! Eventhough it is not on the cliff, the pool overlooks at the church roof top which is iconic to the island, and that is what we exactly want! The location is in the center minutes to everything, but very quite.

Absolutely nothing!

The staff was phenomenal. They were very attentive to guests and maintained the property very clean. They assisted us with recommendations and setting up transportation. The breakfast was excellent and they even left us a tray in the morning because we checked out prior to breakfast being served.

The bed could’ve been more comfortable.

Close to bus stop . Able to go take bus to other side of island and check out the beach there. Walked down toward the castle and to ahmoudi bay. Picked up at bus stop by staff so no chance of getting lost. Also transported to ferry by staff with all the tips needed to make the experience less daunting. View from private deck or patio is superb.

Property was great and what I expect from Santorini accomodations. Location was perfect in the middle of Oia old town. Staff were very nice and helfpful, they arranged a breakfast box for us since we are living very early in the morning. Very near to public bus terminal. Will definitely book again if given a chance to return to Santorini.

Aethrio layout is fantastic, like a little village in a big village! It has a Main Street going to the various little houses where your room is. Very calm and peaceful. The pool are is fantastic and quiet, super relaxing! Watching the sunsets from the top terrace was a real treat every night. The place is such a peaceful oasis and such a contrast to the hustle and bustle and business of the main streets in Oia! We will come back for sure and have already recommended to our friends and family.

At the pool area the sun beds are fixed in place and cannot be moved.

For seniors some of the steep steps could be difficult to manage in some rooms at the top of the hotel.

Wonderfully location close to everything and absolutely reprieve from the crowds of Oia. Gorgeous peaceful sunset view.

The Aethrio Sunset Village in Oia, Santorini was one of the most magnificent hotels that my husband and I have ever stayed in. The two of us are seasoned travelers and from its location in the heart of Oia to its ambiance to the beauty of the hotel to their wonderful staff, I highly, highly recommend the Aethrio Sunset Village in Oia.

It was PERFECT.

The beds were the worst I’ve ever slept on…about six inches from the floor and nearly has a mattress. Surprised the owner didn’t speak English very well. Had a really hard time communicating with her and she got impatient because we didn’t understand her.

Large clean family room with separate upstairs bed and rooftop. Very quiet room but in the center.

The checkout time is a little too early.

Everything was superb! All staff from reception to kitchen staff to housekeeping wonderful … fabulous breakfast that varied each day, lovely pool, excellent orientation to the property … gorgeous apt!

Not far away, just minutes to get to town. Their hospitality was great. Except I couldn’t get an extra towel, that was a bummer. We all know there are water issues everywhere though.

It was an amazing place to stay, highly recommend. Breakfast on the lighter side but I prefer that it is buffet style. There are a couple of juice options. I loved it

Perfect location, perfect breakfast, perfect facilities, perfect staff. The best place to stay in Oia by far, and I maybe even say in Santorini.

Wifi isn’t great in the rooms but if you don’t need it that much it’s okay.

It was beautiful with perfect location. Great views! Staff was friendly, warm and helpful. Room accommodations were fabulous. Greek breakfast they served each day was awesome!

It was very clean and quiet. The rooms in the suite were huge and clean! The pool was wonderful; the breakfast excellent and the staff very efficient!

The WiFi didn’t work in the room I was in; it might need a booster or new hub. It worked by the pool so it wasn’t a huge problem. There are almost no electric sockets in the room; so I had to plug in the kettle in the bathroom.

The place is nice and clean. The breakfast is good too. It is also near all the shops and cave houses with alot of cafes, restaurants and shop houses.

It is just next to the church where they ring the bell quite often.
