Kouros Palace Active Lifestyle Hotel

Location near Kos airport and pool.

We asked for a room away from the noise of common areas such as pool, restaurant, bar etc. and it was given such a room with silent environment.

The room was not clean enough. The curtains contain fly residuals, the beds underneath full of dust, and bathroom tub curtain with full of dirt from early uses.

Staff friendly and drinks cheap. Clean room.

Slow check in, took 1 hour to check in 3 families at 1am after cancelled flight. Breakfast finished too early and was all cleared away by 10.15. Due to us not getting to bed until 2am we missed breakfast.Bed extremely hard and uncomfortable and only 1 thin pillow each.

Smokers everywhere!Maybe allocate 1 of the 2 pools to be smoking & non smoking …very unpleasant if your a non smoker.Uphill walk back up from the beachHire car needed

Loverly location , responded to our issues as they arose, nice staff except for bar manager (needs sacking).The lady who cleaned and looked after our room was amazing and helpful

Food was very average , hot food needs to be hot , not luke warm . All inclusive alcohol at bat very watered down , expect for beach bar .Wi-Fi really poor . Not sure why a 5 star hotel management thinks it’s acceptable to allow wild cats prowl round where people eating is beyond me . Really poor . Needs thinking through .

Very nice hotel close to the Beach. The rooms were clean and overall the whole experience was great . The staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely choose it again!

An amazing hotel in an excellent location! The breakfast was delicious and the room very spacious and clean.

The rooms are apartments rather than a hotel block which was good and the gardens are lovely around each room. The swimming pools are nice and big and not overcrowded. Good selection at the breakfast buffet, but didnt stay all inlusive so dont know what other meals were like. Resort is on a bit of a hill if you have trouble walking but they do have golf buggies to get you around if you ask at reception. I wouldnt say this is 5 star, but it is in Greece after all, but definately worth 4*

The location is a bit remote if you dont have a car and there didnt appear to be a bus stop nearby. Entertainment wasnt the best so if you like the nightlife then maybe its not for you.

Swimming pools

The rooms were not clean, nor did anyone try to make them comfortable. Making the bed was probably a stupid joke. We had to ask for clean towels every day and we didn't always get them. We had little food (for example, an afternoon snack, only some dry sweet pastries from the morning), average drinks, and after 11 pm we had to pay for them, even though we had paid all inclusive. We would not go there again.

We've spent a night with our family this summer in this hotel. DON'T GO THERE! Nothing here is right. My daughter got pimples after the horrible night we spent in this establishment, the hygiene is deplorable. The bins are overflowing, towels are lying on the floor. The staff is haughty and very unpleasant. Also they play music very loudly until midnight which prevented us from sleeping as the insulation of the rooms is catastrophic. Following my 3 year old daughter's health problem, we asked the booking.com team for a full refund of the room twice, and the hotel did not deign to respond to the request. This is ashamed !!!

we booked the same day as arriving as we had to leave another hotel and we were pleasantly surprised, reception staff were very kind and helpful and our room was very big and spacious. the food was nice and the place was clean, wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star and was a bit overpriced but as we booked very last minute we can’t complain.

just be aware it’s very far away from everything and in the middle of nowhere, it has a beach and a hotel shop so you don’t need to venture out for them, however if your looking to explore the island it’s probably not the best location.

property overall was lovey, the grounds are well maintained and the private beach was spotless, the beach is cleaned each morning a as and although small is very nice

rooms are not quite 5 star, in the room we were in the bathroom door did not shut and the bath area was not clean, black mould in the silicone around the bath also soap dispenser was dirty.

The pool was nice and close walk to the beach, not far from the ferry.

For $150/ night I thought this place was below average. The rooms were outdated and the first room we got appeared to have bed bugs (we always check for them). They moved us to another room but they weren't anything great.

Our toilet was not working, we could not flush the lavatory. One can imagine the smell in the room! No excuse from direction, nothing.Not what one except from a five star hotelPass your way!

Nice with private beach.

Lack of quality of food and beverages. Staff has low knowledge about the A la cart and the only and always upcoming answer when one wants to order something extra is “That is not included” instead of having staff that will sell and be service minded. But I feel that I might not be the average guest for this hotel that comes and stays there.

Cleaness was rather miserable- every day a spider in the room.The breakfast was unfortunately not a very tradional greek breakfast, as it says on the homepage.The staff wasn't very friendly and helpful either.
