    Pros +

    • The hotel's location is convenient—close to the center, the airport, and the Kefalos area. There is a car rental desk inside the hotel, and Mrs. Eleni was very helpful. Although we don’t eat meat, the variety of vegetarian dishes was impressive. Both the meals and salads were very tasty. The hotel has two pools, a beach area, and a water play zone for kids. Our children had a lot of fun at the splashes area.
    • We booked a room with sea view and the view was lovely especially at sunset. The staff are very friendly and helpful and seem to love what they do. The food was great and there was always something for everyone. It was nice to see Greek dishes everyday in the buffet. For those who love to swim, the sea to the right of the hotel is nicer to swim in.
    • They are very responsive to any requestsFriendly staffPretty poolbar with restaurantOverall lots of green and palm treesNice view onto the sea

    Cons -

    • When we arrived, we spent our first hour spraying insect repellent. Because of the insect problem, we couldn’t use the balcony at all — we couldn’t even hang our wet swimsuits, as every time we opened the door, more bugs would come in. There were always a few flies and spiders in our room every day.On the first day, the conditioner bottle was empty and the shampoo was almost gone. The next day, both were completely empty and were not replaced until we reported it. Although cleaning was done daily, the floors were not cleaned every day. The fridge in the room had a very bad smell.Although our room was for 4 people, sometimes only 2 clean towels were left, and sometimes none. We had to go to reception every day just to get clean bath towels. In the dining area, we had trouble finding clean glasses. Plates were often chipped, and many of the glasses were dirty and smelled bad. The cleanliness of the dining area was very poor. Every day there was a shortage of milk — we couldn’t find any for the cornflakes, and the coffee machine was often out of milk and not refilled. For cutlery and napkins, we usually had to get up and take them ourselves from the drawers. When we arrived at the hotel, we paid €20 as a deposit and received 4 towel cards along with 4 pool towels. Even though we returned all four pool towels at checkout, they refused to give our €20 deposit back because we had lost the towel cards. There was only one trash can near the pool, and it was broken. It was clearly not enough for the number of guests, which made the pool area dirty, filled with ants and bees. There was a lack of music around the pool. The animation team came twice a day, played a song, did the daily hotel dance, and then left — but no music was played for the rest of the day.During the first day, the plastic cups at the bar were large, but for the next 6 days, they said there were no large cups left, and all drinks were served in small 200ml plastic cups.
    • Please note the complex is large and there are no lifts ( main building has ramps though) so you need to enjoy walking. It takes about 5 mins to get to the main restaurant from the beach area. Evening meals are only served at the main building so no sea view, which luckily didn't bother us as we went in October.
    • They stay overall was ok. What I would really like to mention, however, is the following. My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a week in late September, and we were given a room in the building closest to the sea. Unfortunately, it was also right next to the hotel’s sewage treatment plant, just 10 meters away. The air around our building was often unbearable due to strong odors of sulfur (rotten eggs), and at times, feces and urine. If we left the door open too long, the smells would seep into the room. We also noticed wastewater spilling from the plant into the ground, raising serious public health concerns, as the sea is only 50 meters away. A well-maintained sewage plant shouldn’t have these issues.Upon arrival, our bathroom's drainage was blocked with hair and mold, causing a terrible smell. I cleaned it myself and informed the staff, who sent someone to fix it, but the issue persisted. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, and keeping the window open was not an option due to the sewage plant odors. This was a disappointing start to our stay. Although the reception staff were understanding and tried to help, the situation remained unpleasant throughout our visit.I wish there had been better communication from the hotel about these issues. I felt ignored, and when we checked out, there wasn’t even a polite farewell. We paid full price for the room and expected to get what we paid for.

    Bad

Beach was not clean because of organic things in the sea. Population was old people and children generally. To use pool is impossible because always a lot of children are inside. So It's not for couples sure. Everyone can find sth that they'll like. There are enough options in the restaurant. But they are not delicious. So there is no special thing about it. It's not like hotel, it's looking like more camp for children and old people. We had reservation for one week. But we left after 1 night to Bodrum.

NOT a 4 star! A washed up old hotel! Food wasn’t very nice. Staff need to smile more !Disappointing

Location was not the best. Food was bang average! Hotel was old and needs a refurb! Staff were boring especially in the kids section. There was no interaction with the kids from the painting club. Rooms were average. They new we had a baby and we got there 11pm at night, there was no cot ready.Honestly spend abit more money and go somewhere nicer!!!!Disappointing

    6TillyPosted on: 9-18-2024

Staff were friendly Infinity pool is niceEasy to get taxis

The photos are not a true reflection of the current state of the hotel. The pictures appear to be outdated. It appears only part of the hotel had a refurb in 2020.The food was rubbish, really poor choices, cold and swimming in oil. No control over people using their hands to serve. Room was average, the safe didn’t work and took 2 days to get this fixed. There was a terrible smell of drains outside our room, when reporting this to reception we were told it was due to the wind and smells from local hotels.

    - food was tasty and there was good choice with at least two-three sea food choice every lunch and dinner. Also, the working hours of restaurants are awesome, basically you can never be hungry. The best thing is the restaurant at the beach/by the pool which is working 12:30-17:00 for the lunch. While searching for accomodations, I read some feedbacks from last year for Smy Hotel, about not enough food choice, I wouldn't agree with that. Food was awesome!- the staff, from the cleaning ladies to the animators and reception staff, were all so kind and nice, give these people a raise or a bonus! :) They were especially nice to our baby. They made our stay fenomenal. Especially thanks to the Marvin the animator, you are awesome! - there were just enough activities to keep us entertained from early morning yoga, stretching, beach volleyball, aqua aerobics.. and in the evening Greek night, Cuban night, Music quiz, Fire show... And every night we enjoyed the Mini Disco at 20:30 with our baby. Unfortunately she is still too young for the activities during the day which were held by the animator team. - For people with kids this is really good vacation place. And there were lots of families with kids with whom we exchanged couple of words each day, this was nice. Also the place is totally accessible for baby strollers.- lots of palm trees in the area, sandy beach with blue and turquoise sea, infinity pool.. we stayed here in September, so it wasn't overcrowded, we always had a place at beach or by the pool, and the beach beds at our disposal. The whole complex really looks nice, also everything mentioned was very clean- on the day of the check out, the hotel arranged a taxi for us, and let us store our suitcases at the reception, also we could use everything in hotel until we left for airport, so we stayed for lunch and by the pool until 14:00 even dough check out was at 11:00Thanks guys!

    - mosquitos, but this is not hotels fault

Always a queue for the pizzas at the beach bar

Everything was fine, nice place to stay and spend vacation. Staff was very friendly, everyone speaks English, children are liked, everyone was always helpful and polite. Food was good.

I would clean the beach and organize new sand.

Perfectly staff, super beach, possibility of landing car and obce more super staff?

Waste treatment behind hotel, longer distance to town, but with car it is’t problem.

    6SharonPosted on: 9-9-2024

The pools were nice and has a private beach

The private beach is nice but very stony. the place averagely clean, our room had a used towel hanging behind the door when we checked in and had tea cup marks on the table. The food was average nothing good or bad. All the cocktails are watered down, aperol spritz, pina colada ( a very common drink) is my holiday drink which was not on the all inclusive menu, had to pay extra for popcorn or chips or other snacks. I have been to a few all inclusive holidays now and this was the most disappointing by far. The place they serve meals has canteen vibe to it rather than a restaurant. It was definitely not worth the money, it’s not a 4 star by any chance, just an average hotel with nothing great to remember and nothing too bad to report. It is in a bad location and there is nothing near by, will need a taxi or hire a car. Most of the staff were kind and helpful.

Nothing except the support and positivity of the groums

Everything The room was really bad. Window could not be opened. Bad door did not close and very difficult in opening. Although I complained about the stairs with my bad knees no reaction from the hotel given. Restaurant was very crowded and a lot of times I was standing with my plate to wait for a free table.

We enjoyed the hotel cousine that was really tasteful.

Generally, the hotel provides very good services but living in a room where air is warmer than temperature outside (it was between 30 -33°C) is not acceptable for me. The air conditioner was not functional in our room for the whole stay in the hotel. We complained, after two days the staff provided us a fan...

    2AyaPosted on: 8-6-2024

Close to the Sea.Rooms ok Big and clean (ish).

Big , loud and Without soul, is how I would describe it. It’s the worse all inclusive I have ever visited. Everything was done as it was a factoryAnd not a luxurious hotel.Dirty, smelling and absolutely terrible food as well as the all inclusive drink menu. Most of the receptionist were nice but the canteen staff looked like they are not very happy in their Job.We had to rent a car all days and go some else. The food was absolutely terrible, after trying it once we decided to only had breakfast during our stay.

    7ErinçPosted on: 8-4-2024

Food was overall good. Service and people were quite amazing, they solved couple of our problems quite in a creative way, so kudos for that. Good amount of choices for kids entertainment and pools, overall a successful choice for a family with kids.

One very important point, even though overall staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful, there was one big exception for this; the security staff at the entrance gate. Those 1-2 security personel actually made our day/night quite worse, while we were trying to enter the premises with our car, as usual we try to reach to the reception so that we can take our sleeping 6 month old baby out of the car and continue the remaining less distance to our room by foot, but for some weird reason security guards decided to fight with us verbally for some reason not allowing us to the reception, even though we had 2 kids plus a sleeping baby in the room and the hotel bracelets, and these personel was quite rude and not helpful at all. If the hotel management doesn't do anything about this, this single negative point may be considered as a deal-breaker for many people.Additionally, not much hotel can do, but in that specific location usually sea is very windy and with a lot of waves, especially for smaller kids.

Room was clean and bed comfortable Infinity pool area was ok if able to get a sunbed that wasn’t saved with towels.Staff lovely and friendly

Main pool area by reception dated and in a state of disrepair.Sun beds being reserved with towels early in the morning !Sunbeds without pads for comfort ( if lucky enough to find one available)Having to pay for Balinese beds because no sunbeds available!Taxis very expensive Isolated location Beach area not very nice - not pristine and ( sunbeds without pads ) expected for 4* ratingVery disappointing for high price paid.

    8JennyPosted on: 7-27-2024

So good for children- absolute paradise. So many options of play.

Food average But a LOT to choose between. The hotel area was big- felt like a small city. No elevators.

Service, facilities overall cleanliness... beach is stunning

All was good but a bit of odd smell next to the sea rooms luckily I stay next to reception and all was good
