Grand Blue Beach Hotel

Great location, good value

Difficult to get transportation down to the boat pier.

The hotel was beautiful, had three lovely pools, and the staff was very kind and very helpful.

The place is great. All the employees were extremly nice, the property is super new, the room was big, the beds were comfortable and everything else was great. I did not but the full all inclusive experience but the breakfast was good (many options, including greek ones).

Very nice hotel with great and very helpful staff, the beach is one of the cleanest and most clear water around the island.Great for value.

The hotel is too far from kos town, almost a 40 minute drive to get there so you need to rent a car

The sea is more than perfect if you are a sea-lover. The room is big and clean. The balcony is nice to seat and relax with beautiful view. The breakfast is enough and served for all types.

The only part I do not like is the street between the sea and the property. Other than that it is perfect.

The view was the best part. The property has potential but needs better upkeep and service.

The food was extremely disappointing and the staff at the restaurant were very rude. We only had one night, and therefore did not get an all-inclusive stay. Before we finished appetizers, the waitress was handing us a bill, which made us feel like we couldn’t order any additional a la carte items like drinks. The room was not clean, as we found ants, mold, and pieces of toilet paper on the ledge by the shower. The railing on the balcony was broken. The shower itself was awkward and poorly designed. Overall very disappointed with the experience.

This is my second stay in kardamena but first time in this beautiful hotel compare it with the other one I regretted that I didn’t know grand blue before , I liked everything the room size ,location , the staff from reception to housekeeping to buggy drivers to server in the restaurant they are keeping smiling even the restaurant in the morning were full for a breakfast but they are serving keeping eyes to details , my experience with the reception were great I can’t remember the names ?but both ladies were helpful I forgot my key inside the room and within 5 min she sent me someone to help me , there’s two swimming pools in the beach area there’s a place belonging to the hotel …..it’s just lovely I needed to escape from coldness and my stay were just amazing

Internet connection (WiFi) was really poor. Almost no connection via the WiFi. Not a great breakfast for a 5-star hotel. airconditioning in the bedroom was pointed at the bed.

The location is beautiful. Nice views all around.

The food was very dull and simple. Quite low quality. A salad bar that was the same every day. Warm dishes were never really warm. Everyday the same buffets. This is an all inclusive hotel and after 3 days we were totally bored by the food and chose to have dinner in town.

We don’t manage to get up for the main breakfast. The late breakfast was ok but lacked choice, very basic. Staff were all lovely. Very clean and comfortable room, amazing air con - very much needed! Only stayed for 3 nights but would definitely consider for the future. Pools were lovely too.

Couldn’t get a reservation for the a la carte dinner during our stay.

Well managed big structure; very nice people like Tamara and Tare make the stay enjoyable despite the structure is quite crowded

Structure is quite uneasy to walk and with no easy access to a nice beach (there is a little one right after the road)

Check in out of hour on a last minute booking took ages

Breakfast was typical buffet with many choices but mediocre quality.

The hotel complex is built on the slope of a high hill with a clear view of the sea but too far to walk to the beach. The hotel offers rides to guests on golf carts to get around the amenities, like the beach, pools and restaurants. The hotel is accessible by car via a poorly signed, back dirt road, unacceptable for the standard of such a facility .

Location to the town & beach were good

Crowded meal service as an all inclusive hotel, which I didn’t realise when booking. It says it is a 5 Star hotel, unfortunately it is not by my standards. Rooms are only cleaned every second day & our room was not cleaned well at all in the 6 days we stayed.

Was very clean ,rooms very spacious,staff very friendly and helpful .

Food variety was very poor .Looked like the kitchen was especially for German people ,not much Greek variety .

Location ; car is a must. No taxi around, we had to wait for hours and then they canceled. Not enough taxis on the island and poorly organised. Beach was narrow and rocky. Didn’t like it at all. Breakfast very poor.

Great food. The chef cooked me something special as I have food intolerances. Very good service.

Good swimming pools, good gym clean hotel, good breakfast, close to nice beach area, 15 min walk into kardamena nightlife.

I had the most wonderful holiday here at the Grand Blue Beach Hotel. As a solo traveller, I felt safe to walk around the hotel and into Kardamaina on my own at night. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Perfect hotel - would return
