    Pros +

    • I was aspecting a different hotel and room, however after the first night in a basement room ( and the rooms on the ground floor are claustrophobic) , the guy at the reception swapped our room on the first floor.I also appreciated that we were allowed to have a shower after ck out , when we returned to pick up our bags.
    • The location location and the staff was ok, breakfast was decent although not much varity.
    • Practically perfect for us, loved this place. A small family run hotel, that has everything you need, no bells and whistles, just good honest facilities and comfort, friendly, easy to get around enjoy and relax.

    Cons -

    • I been traveling also for work for the past 2 decades, and this this the first time I have to make my own bed every time I l go to sleep . Bedsheet are single for a double bed , poor quality and torn. Bathroom is obsolete with a shower curtain, and water coming out every time ur showering .Furniture are cheep IKEA and it does not match in what they advertised.Bathroom sink / floor most of the time not clean. Side bed with cups stains from other Customers. There is swimming pool with some vintage sun bed ( that we did not used ), and a small beach across the street , poorly maintained. The old man , I guess the owner , insisted for let us use the swimming pool on the last day , charged €10 for keep out bags for few hrs , and when asked , he explained that keeping the bags is free only if we were going to spend the day at the pool, consuming food or drinks . Provably he did not understood that we were not happy and we came for the beach of Kos. At the end , there are better hotel option in Kardamaina or close by to this hotel , value for facilities and money for sure.
    • The water pressure was practically non-existent — you could barely flush the toilet more than once per hour. We reported the issue to the staff multiple times, but nothing was done. There was also no water pressure during the day, making it impossible to take a proper shower. The pool closed at 7 PM, which was quite disappointing. The air conditioning had issues as well, making a constant dripping sound throughout the night. Sleeping with it on was difficult, but keeping the window open wasn't a real alternative either due to strong winds outside.Room cleaning left much to be desired. Even after it was supposedly cleaned, we could feel sand sticking to our feet it seemed like they just swept the room instead of vacuuming it properly.
    • WiFi connection was quite poor on our room but that wasn't really an issue

Staff are very friendly, it's within a walking distance to town, the hotel is kept clean and food & drinks are great

WiFi connection was quite poor on our room but that wasn't really an issue

The staff were very kind and helpful. It's also a perfect place to stay as family. Food was good in general, breakfast was ok.The location is also close enough to the center.Balcony was perfect at evenings.

The only thing we can tell is the water pressure in the bathroom. It wasn't enough sometimes.

pool and palm trees, calm and peacefull

lack of basic cutlery in the room like at least one spoon, one knife and one fork, very weak water preassure while trying to take a shower or wash my hair in the bathroom, towels were changed when we asked the cleaning lady if she could changed them, breakfast could have more varieties of food combination

Great atmosphere. A very good spot to explore the island. There's always a parking spot available. We chosed the half board option and the dinner was always tasty, changing almost everyday. The staff is really nice and helpful.Good swimming pool, a nice beach just crossing the road with umbrellas.

It was too hot inside the rooms. The rooms have air conditioning but it was not enough

    10LeightonPosted on: 8-7-2024

Beautiful location. Nice pool. Nice bar area close to the pool which served very nice food and all the usual drinks. Plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas for everyone. Literally a few footsteps from the beach/sea. All the staff were so welcoming/accommodating/friendly/helpful and we couldn't have asked for nicer people.

The water pressure was dictated by a water pump so there were times we needed to stop mid-shower and go to reception to ask for the pump to be switched on.

For a family of 3 we had a quiet time, we enjoy the proximity to the beach you can feel the breeze from the pool, cl9se to Kardamena, we drive to Kardamena for evening walks, the pool was nice and the staff at restaurant were nice. We enjoyed the meal on arrival as we arrived on a late flight.

The basement room with view to stairs so we couldn't stay with our curtains open at no time as everyone could see us. The breakfast is literally every single day the same, at 10.00 they will make sure everything is collected from the continental buffet. Speaking about dinner, don't now where to start, they choose what you will eat, not even an option to look at a menu, when I asked in the morning what's for dinner I got no answer. You will be thinking that they will be cooking some special Greek food, but everything at dinner except salad and maybe the suvlaki was defrosted. You prepay your half-board and you have nothing to say as the owner are there to control every single move. I've asked for a empty plate to use it in the room at lunch and she was so rude saying what do I needed it for,she made it clear that the food we eat in there has to come for there kitchen, which we did as we had no options but we will cook much better food ourselves from scratch. We stayed in different places in Kos and received lovey welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This was not the case in here. The 2 guys that take care of the restaurant are lovely and that helps the place ? ? The place has potential and I still give it an 8. I always think that a little bit of kindness goes a long way, hopefully they will understand that for some family's this is maybe the only holiday of the year and it wasn't cheap either.

Friendly staff, quiet and relaxing experience, the location is a bit remote but take the bus that goes to Kardamena and you'll be fine.

    10OliverPosted on: 6-13-2024

Very welcoming, friendly staff.Free breakfast exceeded expectations.Room, pool, and other facilities were all great.

Only negative I can think of was the the wifi didn't reach our room. Other than that it was amazing!

    8InêsPosted on: 6-1-2024

The view to the sea and pool and facilities.

Lack of access to the beach in front. The drain cover in the shower was loose.

Beautiful view, excellent value for money, WiFi, aicondition, terrace, and quiet.

    5LeszekPosted on: 11-2-2023

Near to the beach , 30 min walk from city center

    unfriendly owner, poor breakfast

    4LeszekPosted on: 10-20-2023

Location was OK for seaside and quiet place. Nice resort, big rooms with balconies.

Poor breakfast and quality of food and drinks. The owner should learn good manners.

    7NicolaPosted on: 10-15-2023

    - Pretty setting- Stone beach across the road- 30 min walk to town and quite easy to navigate the bus back- Lovely sunrise- Spacious and clean room that is cleaned daily- Peaceful location- Clean pool- Taxi to airport 20-25 Euro. Bus is a bit tricky as you'll need to get 2

    - There is a kettle in the room, but nothing else. No coffee, no complimentary bottle or water or any welcome gift (the little touches really do count!)- Breakfast is basic compared to other places. Would be good if they rotated a couple of options- The walls are thin and I found it a bit difficult to sleepOur first night was disappointing. We ordered dinner and the olive oil and vinegar both had many dead flies loating in them. (Multiple bottles.) We had poured these over our salad. No replacement salad and/or oils were offered and we were charged full price. Not even a complimentary dessert or Ouzo (which we hinted at) which is standard practice in Greece anyway. A big cockroach then ran passed our table and we thought it time for bed. It is a lovely space, but as we have both worked in hospitality, the customer service put us off. (The lady is friendly though!)

Friendly staff, from the cleaning lady up to the waiters and the hosts! Amazing food. We had halfboard and were surprised at first that we didn't get any info, what are they preparing for the dinner but we soon got used to it, as the food was simply delicious and we were anxious every evening what we're gonna get tonight. Also because our daughter is suffering from several allergies, they prepared meals for her according to her needs at no extra cost. Small beach full of sea life ideal for snorkelling just across the street.

Rooms could be equipped with a basic set of cutlery if you decide to have a little snack or some fruit - more of a suggestion than a critique really.

Tasty breakfast a lot, cheap prices for drink and food, cool swimming pool and beach area, very nice staff especially the woman, cool place , very reccomended

Maybe change more often the towels in the room

    10BarriePosted on: 9-11-2023

Breakfast was good, a generous variety of hot and cold food, a selection of both tea, coffee and juices. The location was excellent for sea bathing, with ample sunbeds on the beach. the walk to the nearest village/town took about 30 mins.

    9LynnPosted on: 8-23-2023

Renata is a gem! Nothing is too much trouble and she always has a smile and a lovely energy. The family are really friendly and helpful. The place is peaceful and relaxed. The breakfast was a good variety. We were really happy with our stay and how welcome we were made to feel. We took the half board option and the dinners were freshly home-cooked and obviously made with love. We highly recommend.

It is quite a walk into town so I would recommend hiring a bike or electric scooter. However, it is a beautiful walk along a beach road, but in the night can be dark in some patches.
