Hotel Athinoula

Very comfy. Great staff. Nice pool, suitable for families with small kids. Very close to the main road, where everything is. The room I got was bigger than advertised.

The internet (Wi-Fi) connection was very bad, even for normal WhatsApp calls.

The breakfast was what you expect from a continental breakfast, everything was fresh every morning, I have stayed here on a number of occasions probably 10, the hotel and staff are always polite and respectful.

The pool, the breakfast, the family. Location is good, off the main road but 200 metres from the beach. Not the owners fault but there is a dog barking most of the time in a field next door and very early in the morning which is set off by the bloody cockerel giving everyone an early morning wake up call.

Can't fault anything except to say I booked a triple for the extra space but it seemed the room size was the same as a twin/double.(I stayed previously in a twin) But we had the sea view and the huge terrace shared with 2 other rooms. We were 202. Other rooms were 201 and 203.

Air conditioning was excellent, we stayed in a studio apartment which was next to the pool , great for us as we both have knee problems, therefore no stairs to climb

Athinoula Hotel is a fabulous place to stay in Kefalos. The family who own it are wonderful hosts and do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The location of the Hotel is ideal for the beach and Tavernas. Families are always made very welcome and this is the fourth time we have stayed at this property. When I return to Kefalos I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

There is nothing I dislike about the property. It is a super place to stay while on holiday.

The breakfast has a nice selection and alternates in what is offered some days. The rooms are super clean and all have a little balcony. The staff is super nice and will help you get around town and the island.

The wifi connection is a little unstable at times.

The price was low. Swimming pool great. close to seaside. Shovels changed everyday. Free park..

The shower room flooded every time due to the shower curtain not fitting . We had to mop up the floor every time . The room had an obscure door with a curtain so no light .

Owners were really helpful and polite. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Was really close to the beach and restaurants and a shop.

Set in a nice quiet location this hotel was a perfect base for exploring Kefalos area. The staff were all very nice and my room was cleaned every day.

Lovely family run hotel in a very peaceful location but only a 2 minute stroll to the main road and nearest supermarket. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Excellent breakfast choices.

we have stayed here at the athinoula approx for 20 yrs we love the family they are our greek family always pleased to see them and likewise the breakfast buffet is the best in kefalos the hotel is in a fab location 5 min walk to beach rooms are clean every day with fresh towels you must visit you wont be disappointed a big thank you again for yet another excellent stay take care to all the family and see you soon
