Heilbronner Hotel am schönen Theater

I decided to stay and check into this place a little late but still it was easy to check in as it was automated at the entrance which helped me to pay easily. And also the place was kept tidy. Overall a good experience.

I searched for the drinking water in the property. However, unfortunately I couldn't find it. It would've been really nice to have the drinking water accessible.

The check-out time was 11 and it was mentioned that in case you want to check out late, then you can request for that and we have requested for that at the time of check-in and woman at reception was nice and she said that please ask again in the morning and morning again we asked for that even though their was not a single car parked in their parking lot except our car, still they refused us to check-out LATEST by 12. Which was a bit rude and impolite.

Central location. Practical for a mere overnight stopover or appointment in Heilbronn.

The standard is lower than the German average. The facilities are somewhat modest. The room is on the upper floors and has no elevator. During the summer, the room is hot and there is no air conditioning. The cleaning is not very thorough, as there were small insects in the bed. Parking is paid separately (8 euros per night). The minibar is quite small, and does not allow for bottles. There is no staff at night, and check-in is automated. In the morning, the hotel kitchen did not even have ice to cool drinks.

Booked a room with balcony but the window was broken and would close, not only I payed for a room with a balcony and coulndt acess it, plus the light came in the room as soon as the sun rose wich didnt allowed me to rest. Worse is that I complained and they didn’t even responded to the email. Very bad experience, plus I payed for a room and didnt had What I payed for, I feel robed really

Spacious, clean, good showers.

Shared balconies. Very small car park. We paid for parking one car and parked but were afraid to move the car as there was no guaranteed space as no supervision and no barrier you could put a code or ticket in. Basically anyone can drive in after reception hours.

Location of the hotel is their strong advantage.We liked that they have rooms with balcony.

We stayed in room 18, relatively good for the price we paid, but ventilation was bad; better to leave windows open.

This hotel is easy to reach and not far from the city centre. It has all standard facilities available.

The Wifi connection was quite patchy in our room, but otherwise all was fine.

Everything was very clean. Nice view from the balcony. Good location close to the center.

There was no AC in the room. The other guests/people at the hotel were making us uncomfortable a few times.

Great staff, very helpful every time it was needed. Since the late time check-in with the machine not working until the check-out.Great location in Heilbronn (in walking distance from pretty much everywhere)

The fact that you have to climb stairs (no elevator) must be more explicit in advertising the hotel.

no staff persons who take care of your problems, we arrived at 22H and got door entrance card with an automatic distributor. ATM sales alcohol drinks, and a young girl cames asking us money to buy alcohol, seems adolescent, for sure we don't gave her. One hour later this girl yelled loudly at the gate of this gardless hotel, maybe she got harcelled by somebody . I am not making story, but it's just amazingly helpless. Bed is not large at all, but fairly comfortable. No air conditioner.

The staff at the front desk was nice. And I like how new the hotel was.

The shower room had bad design; its door was not able to close completely and there were gaps which made the water went everywhere in the floor. I used all my towels to clean up.

Cleanliness

No air conditioning so I was forced to leave the door to the balcony open. At 2:30 am a man climbed up from the street onto the balcony to my room. Fortunately, I heard a noise and saw him before he could enter the room. I reacted by shouting loudly for him to get down and leave and that I was calling the police. He disappeared soon afterwards but I was left shaken and scared. No one in the hotel came out of their room to help I called the hotel number but no one answered so I sent a message but I have heard nothing from them. As a lady traveling alone this situation had the potential to have been deadly.

Staff was really friendly and all the amenities were new and clean.

Because of the heatwave the room was really hot. The window shutters were broken and we were unable to open them up to really air the room. A ventilator was kindly provided but because of the noise and the heat we didn’t sleep very well.

Classic functional good value hotel. clean and functional. good staff. easy check in. comfy bed. Good shower, lots of hot water.

Bit basic. No breakfast available. Balcony wraps around building so not private - people walk past the room window. Small bathroom.
