City Hotel Heilbronn

The view from the room is good, and the bed is comfortable. The room was quiet and clean. On the first day, we couldn’t find the “Do Not Disturb” sign (though we later noticed one on the hangers), so we assumed there was no daily room cleaning. However, the staff cleaned the room very respectfully without touching any of our belongings.

The painting in the room was a bit unsettling for me though it’s a good painting, it might just be a personal reaction and others may find it perfectly fine. The hotel is priced similarly to modern (new) hotels, but the rooms don’t quite offer the same value, as the furnishings and bathrooms feel less modern (old) in comparison.

Good location , not too far from city.The staff is very positive and also considering its on a quite busy road , it was quiet.

I did not see it during the reservation bit its in a big block building on I think 11th floor, and Its like a dorm.Separated level from the other mainly small office renter rooms but still...very much like a simple dom room with a key and a corridor door to close by the night.Altough they are kind and its ok for a night if you travel trough, and it was not too expensive but compared to some other Larger multi brand Hotels..like Holiday inn (which is only about a mile away hence you will feel the difference.

Water in shower in room 43 is not working properly

Very quiet rooms. Amazing views of the city. Breakfast was great plenty of choice. The girl in the breakfast was very welcoming didnt get her name but made sure we had enough of everything.

Rooms were comfortable and large. Breakfast was great. And the view of the city from the 14th floor is exceptional.

Hotel is at the 14th of large building, so the parking and entry to hotel is a bit confusing for the first time.

Big clean room and very friendly staff.

We were delayed and arrived at 01:30 very cold and tired. No kettle to make warm drinks, no hot water in shower (Luke warm water) and heating was not working.

Not much to mention with regards to a positive experience with my stay at the City Hotel Heilbronn. What a dump.

Anything could have been an improvement. No amenities nor staff on site. Glasses on the night stand but no water? Breakfast consisted of the utmost in basics and for 100€ per night... this place is definitely not to be recommended.

The Hotel is on the 14 floor with a great view. Perfect breakfast. Good value for money.

Check in was surprising. No reception, just a box on the wall. Parking was not included, but a young Albanian guard outside the garage helped us ..

Fire alarm went off in the early morning in some room. Badly managed, and no apology.

I can say that the hotel is clean. new bathroom remodeling

the garage that is paid for is very narrow for parking and has a very unpleasant smell. Hot water takes quite a long time

The hotel is located in the city centre

It was quite hard to find a way into the Hotel despite us being outside the building. The parking was also confusing and apparently we parked in the wrong car park, although we had no information from the hotel to tell us how to get in or where to park. I had notified them that my wife was partially disabled but there was No mention that this Hotel is only on the 14th Floor of the building. That would probably have been OK given the lifts, but during our 3 night stay we had 2 FIRE ALARMS, which meant walking down 14 flights of stairs - pretty difficult for us - I am 76 and my wife is 73 - never mind her condition. The Alarms could well have been triggered by smokers as the lobbies and lifts smelt strongly of cigarette smoke all the time !All in all a great shame as the accommodation was mostly OK. The Hotel would be well advised to tell clients about the location on the 14th floor and address the problems of smokers and fire alarms

View from room, cleanliness and room it’s self was very very nice

The person at the reception was extremely disrespectful and needs to learn how to speak with guests. We arrived a little early and asked if we could wait near the reception until our rooms were ready and he said no giving us a lame reason that the place needs to be cleaned and said why did you come early. We were ready to wait patiently for our rooms but he wanted us to leave the building. Really rude, aggressive and spiteful man who should be taught how to interact with people properly.The other problem I faced were the blinds did not work for one window hence was very bright early in the morning. But the room was wonderful so all in all decent experience.

Breakfast was very limited, interior a bit outdated and my car got towed from the parking

Location is nice, near centre.

Reception doesn't speak english, during whole day there is a worker in a hall, repairing something ( pretty loud ). Due to that reparation, dust was everywhere, even on a floor of my room. No air condition, as it was written on a main page. And that is a hotel of 14 rooms, not as it is presented in the add, as a huge one.
