Proteas Blu Resort

Unexpectedly beautiful. Had a suite with pool overlooking the sea. Beautiful resort, good food, and very relaxing.

Only downside is that you can’t really walk to town.

This was by far the most wonderful hotel of our honeymoon trip. Since we visited at the end of the season, the hotel surprised us with an incredible upgrade to a suite with a private pool. We felt truly cared for from the moment we arrived.In our room, we were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates, and a beautiful fruit platter. They were even thoughtful enough to provide a non-alcoholic wine option, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere was so romantic – the bed was decorated with fresh rose petals and there was a lovely sign wishing us a happy honeymoon.They continued to spoil us with many thoughtful gifts, including a relaxing couple’s massage. The attention to detail and the kindness of the staff made our stay unforgettable. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Samos, and there is no doubt we will stay at Proteas Blu Resort again. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location and view were absolutely amazing. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and they even gave us a free room upgrade along with wonderful presents, which made our stay extra special. The hotel also has a great swimming pool and beach, making it perfect for relaxation. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Bed and pillows can be better.

this hotel and its staff deserves more than all the stars available.staff: amazingly genuinely friendly and happy people. i cannot believe the positive energy starts from the first minute that you arrive and lasts until you check out. they always smile, they always check if you're having a good time, and always rushing for your needs (including taking you anywhere with the golf cart, which is a great service and an amazing help). thank you to all the staff who made this vacation more positive than it already was, i'll always remember you with a smile on my face.room: our room was amazing, it had everything you need from flip flops to hats and a beach bag, which is not all of course. the room had an amazing view of the sea, very cozy to sleep, and amazing balcony to spend more private time. you have the privacy but still see the beautiful sea. very comfy towels and everything.facilities: the hotel has a beautiful entry, amazingly delicious restaurants (totally recommend the qinoa salad and gyros by the pool), great 2 private beaches with comfy sunbeds and amazing service (thanks to the staff that works for the beach!!). the live music nights were amazing, thank you to all the musicians that played over the last few days. also an amazing pool was there which is open between 10-18. from the pool you have an amazing view of the sea as well, it was our favourite spot to be.special thank you: we celebrated our engagement at the hotel. they made sure that we had a lovely celebration with baloons, champagne, chocolates, and cards. we felt like the time we spent at the hotel was just incredibly special, not only because we are celebrating the engagement but also because we couldn't be welcomed better. thank you to the staff who made all these possible, but special thank you to the person who decorated our room. i couldn't imagine anything better.all in all: i would recommend and choose proteas myself for anyone visiting samos.

Location

The beach isn’t for over 60 years old people even the water is very nice and clean . It is very difficult to go back to your rooms or Bungalow the hill is way too steep . Need to have service to bring people up with your carts .

The hotel’s breakfast is very good and offers a wide variety. Overall, the location is quite convenient — you can get to Pythagorio quickly by taxi for about €10. The hotel’s beach is also lovely; depending on the wind, the sea can be either a bit wavy or incredibly calm and crystal clear. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and during our stay, they gave us plenty of gifts, which was such a nice touch

The restaurant options are a bit limited — there’s essentially one seafood restaurant and one by the pool. The menus are not very extensive, so we ended up going to the town center every night. It’s an easy taxi ride, but you just need to be prepared for the round trip each time

The breakfast was very satisfactory with a variety of food. The hotel was located very close to the city center and the beach was wonderful

The hotel was located on a hill and distance between the room and restaurant/lobby was too long to walk in a sunny weather.

Outstanding Hotel, location is perfect and has its own private beach. Exceptional, attentive and friendly staff. It felt like honeymoon! Thank you for a great stay.

Everything was perfect!

The amazing view, no annoying children. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Very nice pool and beach.

NOT ENOUGH SHADE. There were too many beach or pool bed with zero shade. This is not healthy! I'm not willing to play the early morning towel game. There is a rule for removing belongis after 90min but it's not enforced which is a shame since half the places in the shade were abandoned for hours. So we were forced into an uncovered beach bed and of course i got a sunburn on day one. This cound be fixed without too much costs for the Hotel and it's a pitty to have red itchy stains on an otherwise splendid experience. (Samos fortunately has tons of amazing beaches so we just focused on those).

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — from the very first moment, they made a difference. Everything about the hotel was amazing: the private pool of the room, the stunning view, and the overall facilities. But above all, it was the staff that truly stood out.

Didn't like the main restaurant or the entrance, both cold and bare looking, maybe some greenery would help. Food also was good rate it ok, could be better.

Simply beautiful. A wonderful hotel, extremely clean, great service, very comfortable beds and well equipped rooms.

The beach is really nice. The room was so clean. They have special gifts for you.

You have to use golf cars to go anywhere you need (room, beach, restaurants, main building). Also there are stairs everywhere. The greeting in the reception was bad. They gave us the check in forms to fill. They said we can go and fill the form at the bar in backwards of the reception. We went there, filled out the form, nobody came. We had to go back to the reception again to get the room keys. They made us to wait the couple have their drinks who came after us. Then they packed us in a golf cart to bring us to our rooms. It was so disappointing.We had lunch in the pool restaurant. It took 45 minutes to get a club sandwich. After we warned the staff, they brought our order.

Beautiful private beach, nice design and equipment for the external pool area. Very clean bedroom.

Rooms are very clean, staff are so friendly. Room has amazing view. Hotel’s location is very good, so close to the center of Phytogorion. Facilities are very good (pool, beach, restaurant..). Our room has private pool and wonderfull sea view from the balcony. Thank you for upgrading and little gift.

Absolutely Everything! Beautiful location, and spectacular views. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. The pool was wonderful and the private beach was a delight. The service and breakfast was fantastic
