    Pros +

    • Very clean hotel and the front desk was really courteous. The area was quite but still close to everything. Hotel penthouse is really up to date with furniture and appliances. Overall wonderful experience!
    • Everything
    • Super friendly staff on reception. Claudia Lang couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. She provided great advice on where to walk our dog and directions to get to the old town. The location is great and the rooms were clean and comfortable and there is parking onsite - a bog plus. All in all, it was great for our short stay!

    Cons -

    • There was no restaurant for an evening meal in the hotel. But the staff were very helpful to guide you to town to find restaurants, not far from the hotel.
    • Nothing to comment on.
    • It was all good, but a mini fridge would be welcome !

Clean rooms, quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, easy parking facility, close walk to the centre

It was all good, but a mini fridge would be welcome !

Thematic rooms are quirky. They clearly put a lot of effort in creating a unique experience for the guests. The location is good (close to interesting areas) however this city is so small anywhere is really good enough.

Poor noise insulation. The pillow are awfully plastic inside, uncomfortable and cheap feeling. The shower is inside of the bedroom and has no frosted glass, so you can literally see the person showering (perhaps good for some situations?) but not quite what we expected. No fridge in the rooms. Quite pricey. No free parking. Overall cheap feeling.

My 2nd visit to Triller Hotel and its my new-found gem in the new-found gem of a city in Saarbrucken.Love the novel approach to the hotel with the graphics and room layouts - its super-modern and gives the room a great feel. We had the penthouse room which is spacious and comfortable with a little balcony overlooking the town. Its a great location with a short (but hilly) walk down to the town and what a beaut of a town it is - with a lovely square giving plenty of restaurant options. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and made to feel welcome - they kept me a space in their car-park for my motorcycle too which keeps me happy.Looking forward to returning on next years motorcycle tour!

hard to choose - if i was picky, i think the A/C unit made a bit of a noise but i know this is related to the type of unit and not a fault as such. I also think they charge too much for breakfast and i am sure that must affect sales. I'd have thought a continental option for a lower rate would be attractive to lots of travellers including us.

Very clean modern very nice receptionist.

The check in process was atrocious. Was sent an email to pre check in. Very clumsy if you are trying to check in two rooms booked in one name. On entering the hotel the code was not recognised.

All good. Price at the upper end of expectations

This hotel is really great. It is just 3 minutes walk to the castle and the centre. It has very nice, clean and big rooms. Bottle of water on the table and sweets on the bed were a very nice surprise, coffee machine and kettle in the room also. Fully equipped huge bathroom. I can only recommend.

Pool was not available because they were redoing it, but it was not a problem for us. Otherwise nothing.

We were able to check-in early for a fee and the air conditioning was on already to cool the room down - a nice touch. We were upgraded to a penthouse which had a beautiful view of the city, especially at night. The restaurant was not open the night we stayed but we were able to buy a bottle of wine from them and have it in our room later. The receptionist was super friendly, and went out of her way to be helpful.Good breakfast buffet.

Bicycles could be stored in the undercover carpark but it was open to the public so not very secure.

Very easy check in and check out at any time, rooms very stylish and spacious and very clean, super location in walking distance to centre, free Haribo's on the pillow :-)

the parking at the hotel was quite expensive

Good breakfast buffet. The hotel was easy to find, with on-site parking, which was great. We didn't like the steps up to the front door - two old people with luggage - we struggled a bit getting our bags up. Staff were super friendly, and were very sweet to our dog, including providing a good quality treat that he loved, and a water bowl. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was very convenient after a long day of driving; the food was EXCELLENT, and the service friendly and attentive. It was a great stay altogether.

As noted above, a luggage ramp to the door would be helpful.

Good location above Saarbruecken. Comfortable room. Nice pool. Good breakfast buffet.

Didn’t like the room layout. Breakfast was really busy and not as enjoyable as on previous visits.

The property is has a nice reception. The lady on reception in the mornings, with short hair and glasses, is lovely.

The rooms are dated, the employees apart from the one mentioned above are not particularly helpful. We requested a twin room with an ensuite and were instead given a double bed with a shower in the room, highly inappropriate for friends despite our request. The breakfast was okay, but very overpriced, and the surf theme was tacky. The coffee machine didn’t work, and there was no UHT milk in the room for tea. We asked for cutlery at reception, as we had to order food after being told room service was not available. We were then charged for disposable wooden forks. Overpriced and would not stay again. I could forgive the lack of a central location, but the didn’t even try and make up for it.
