Best Western Victor's Residenz-Hotel Rodenhof

The proximity to transportation and was in walking distance to the train and the. City Center.

Only two channels in non German. No close captioning available to watch the .The lamp shade was frayed. The carpet by the bathroom was frayed. The headboard had not been dusted in a while. Manny stains on ceiling and walls.

Bad location and not really uptodate. Restaurant offered that evening only a buffet but a menu was supposed to be offered.

The price of the drinks at the bar.

Pool sauna

Mattress was a bit firm

clean, spacious rooms, great for a night in Germany when travelling, very friendly staff, big safe parking garage under the hotel

Bathroom could benefit from a small upgrade or renovation

The room was comfortable and clean, there was a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. A welcome drink on arrival. Parking was available on the street in front of the hotel.

The service in reception was very slow on checking in resulting in a long queue. The restaurant was fully booked on arrival and there was no option for room or bar service either. There was however a very good restaurant just up the road -easy walking distance- but they do not accept foreign debit/credit cards so cash only. The bedroom carpet in the balcony area of the bedroom was wet in the morning following a night of rain.

Being able to sit outside for breakfast in the summer, and relax with a pot of coffee is a very pleasant experience, and the breakfast buffet selection is quite wide. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean, and are of a good size. The hotel is in a very pleasant, quiet part of town, and its garden is very peaceful. The spa and swimming pool are very good plus points for this hotel.

I am a regular guest at this hotel, and the steam room in the spa has been non-operational for too long now! Things break down, but when they do, they need to be fixed! We missed dessert, whilst having dinner in the restaurant, as nobody came to tell us that the kitchen was closing, so when we wanted to order, we couldn't! It's not a huge disaster, but it might have been nice, if someone had mentioned the imminent closure of the kitchen!

Very friendly staff, spacious room, quiet neighborhood.

Nothing not to like.

The staff was super friendly, at the reception and restaurant, in particular with our daughter. The breakfast was very good.

Nothing to highlight.

I liked this property. Room was clean and comfortable. No air conditioning so in it would be a bit warm. Had a restaurant on property. All the staff were great! Nice neighborhood.

No air conditioning.

Large room. Very comfortable. Good food, Underground carpark at reasonable cost

Room very hot, no Aircon. There was an additional fan supplied which helped.

Nice pool, sauna and steam room. Very large, spacious room.

A little out of town and not much around. The ceiling in the car park is too low so when opening the boot of the car, it popped up and hit the ceiling. Luckily no damage was done but very poorly designed.

The breakfast and the pool excellent, the bed and the room were excellent. The person greeting us at the desk is very nice, the employees are nice too (all of them). It was perfect and exceeded expectation

Overnight stopover. Easy location to find. Parking outside hotel, looks safe.

The furniture and decor in the room was a bit tired but functional. Facility was clean

I have stayed there so often and every single time the place has met expectation. Professional, friendly staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, good fitness facility and nice restaurant

The staff was very friendly and gave us an upgrade as we asked for a calm room and there was a staff party that night. The rooms where super spacious and clean. Parking right under the Hotel.

The bed was like an air mattress, super uncomfortable. Pillows also as if they where filled with air. Funny enough, we had 2 rooms, in the other room the bed was ok. Restaurant and bar where closed as we arrived, due to party, we booked last minute so there was no time to inform us though. Could have been mentioned on website, I booked it for the restaurant:-(

The town itself and the region. The hotel with its comfortable rooms, friendly staff and nice pool area.

In our room we found it difficult to properly flush the toilet as well as drain the bathtub and the washing basin. There was no minibar to cool our drinks and no in-room vault to store valuables.
