Pros +
- Fast internet and good breakfast, nice shower
- Excellent location. Clean.
- The location of the hotel was in close proximity of everything there was to offer in Idar-Oberstein. The hotel was fairly basic in nature, but it served the purpose it was intended for with no issues or concerns. The pressure of the shower was amazing! One of the better shower heads in terms of pressure I recall.
Cons -
- No proper workplace in the room, bed was not very comfortable
- Smallish room. No atmosphere - a bit sterile.
- The carpet in the room felt tough and gritty; it was not comfortable on bare feet.

The location was great for our walk up to the castle and church (about a 5min walk) and the spießbraten place!
Great hotel. Small rooms but well accomodated and has everything you need. The location in Idar was perfect for walking in town. I would absolutely stay here again.
Friendly staff. Great location. They will make it right.
Room was not ready on my first day.Not much left for breakfast if you are close to the end hour.
The area is nice with plenty of options for sightseeing and food.
The beds are separate, so couple will have a hard time cuddling. But the beds do come together with a small space in-between.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had problems getting a taxi during our stay, but the very nice lady at the reception took very good care of us. Breakfast could use some work but nothing to complain about . Price /performance Top.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities. The bed was cozy, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
