Staff were nice but didn't know even a word in English. So Difficult to communicate.We had a room with river and mountains view which was very nice

The room is dark even if all light bulbs were working, we had 2 that didn't work. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room didn't have a real shower only a curtain. The sink water taste bad (and we usually drink sink water). The shower towels are very small

Easy to find, warm welcome, good parking, comfortable room. Also, unlike another hotel I stayed in in Modane, this one had its sign lit up, so much easier to spot for the solo driver after dark. The manager is Italian, so the coffee's good. (It's also a bar.) Very good value. The photo I've attached is of the station across the street, demonstrating its location, as well as its convenience for those arriving by train.

Modane isn't my favourite town, although the snow lent it some much needed atmosphere.

Noisy road, no daylight, beds too small and too short. The we hole hotel breaths being outdated and rundown.

Great location across road from train & bus station. Lovely view over the river. T he staff were friendly & the room was big.

I think it is essential to provide tea & coffee making facilities in hotel rooms. Not every person wishes (or is able) to leave their hotel to go out to purchase a tea/coffee..Given this was an accessible room suitable for a wheelchair user, it is even more important to have this facility provided. I speak from experience as a parent of a person with very limited mobility.

Location and price. Comfortable room and good bathroom. Also very friendly and helpful staff.

Some of the common areas are a little run down but that’s a minor thing.

Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. The room was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed. There are takeaways, restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

We stopped for 1 night on the GR5 hike. This isn't a tourist spot- it is convenient for the GR5 or the rail station, but somewhere to spend a night not a whole holiday.

Large three bed room with excellent shower. Right on the main street, opposite the main railway station. Lively bar for refreshing drinks at the end of a long day hiking.

Silence, bed quality, room is clean and "luxuous".

The TV didn't work > tried Chanel research but nothing, too old I guess without a TV box.

Nice hotel, lovely room with big comfortable beds, a great view of the river and mountains behind, big modern bathroom with bath. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in a center of the town, and not far form the great Valfrejus ski lift.

The only thing that was missing was a restaurant or a bar area, where we could have breakfast or grab a drink as it was under refurbishment. Also, our kids were a bit noisy and lively and we had someone knocking on the door around 8ish pm that it was too loud.

Nice and helpful staff, very clean room. The hotel is located near the "Télécabine d'Orelle" - if you like skiing. Great value for money.
