Speicher 7 Hotel

Hotel built in a former warehouse directly on the Rhein. Private parking on site. Dogs welcome. Room was spacious and mostly comfortable. Bar downstairs was nice, we went both nights and its a super popular place. Bathroom had amenities like soap, shampoo and hairdryer.

Its a pretty noisy area, with loud cars and music from the bar downstairs. Room didnt have a hot water pot for making coffee or tea. Not enough plugs in the room for charging.

Very stylish and new, our room with the sea view was huge! Aesop in the bathroom is a really nice addition!

Choice of food for dinner was just tapas, and basically there are no restaurants around. So we had tons of small appetizers.

The hotel has a unique and calm atmosphere. It could use some additions, but overall it is more than good.I liked the bar and the hotel entrance, and I felt comfortable sleeping there.The hotel's view of the river is very beautiful, and the staff was extremely friendly.

Room and bathroom were beautiful. The blinds allowed good blockage of the light at night.

We got some beverages at the bar and the water (0.75 l) was EUR 8.50 (2 EUR more than the beer)!!There were few plugs and one of them was broken. The lamp on one side of the bed was not working and the person at the reception didn't acknowledge our complaints (the woman at check-in was super kind and helpful though).

The hotel is very beautiful with an eclectic decor and cool atmosphere, by the river.

Just the fact that the music from the bar was listened by at least the rooms in the 1st floor until 12:30 am.

The saving grace was their uncomplicated and polite handling of the situation the following morning: we were not charged. (Should be a no-brainer, as we could not and did not use the room. But still, they did the right thing - so credit where it's due.)

We could not enter at night and NO ONE was on premises to let us in nor did anyone pick up the phone nor react to our messages. We had to find alternative accommodation in the middle of the night — with all our luggage stuck in the hotel.

Tastefully decorated hotel. Very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Small but delicious breakfast selection. We also sat in the bar for a drink and some tapas in the evening, which were very good.

Beautiful hotel by the harbor with a great tapas restaurant. It’s also a lovely spot for drinks with good music and a great vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our two-year-old had a wonderful time as well. The staff is especially kind to children. The hotel smells amazing and is beautifully decorated. We had a room with a view of the water, which was just stunning. You can also book yoga in the morning, which we unfortunately didn’t get to try, but it’s a nice option! We would love to return.

The only thing I missed, and this is purely personal, was a kettle with some herbal tea for before bed, as I always enjoy a cup in the evening. Of course, you can always order tea, but that's just a small detail.

Excellent refurbished and renovated old port warehouse into a modern design hotel. The room was spacious, aesthetically pleasing, clean. The staff was pleasant and supportive.

We only stayed one night so the hardness of the mattress didn't impact us much but for a longer stay it may be an issue for some guests.

No air conditioning I got stinky from hot wether

Nothing to like here- this must have been he worst hotel we've stayed in for over 10 years!It was total crap disguised as hipster.

4 out of 5 staff members we had to deal with were extremely unfriendly.no air-conditioning in a 28 degrees C room, they claimed cooling through the water pipes but that was a lie- in any case the room stayed extremely hot all night.no refrigerator in the room.no coffee/tea making facilities.no safe parking space, just outside in a sketchy harbour area without any enclosure or supervision.no bicycles for us to get into the city from their hotel to the city, although they claimed to have them before our arrival.no wifi in the room, no telephone reception...room wasn't ready when we wanted to check in - after the time they claimed our room would be ready.extremely loud people (from the bar on the ground floor) right in front of our room window until 4:30AM on a Thursday night.
