Catussaba Resort Hotel

The location, the green area, plants were well taken care.

The room was old, dirty, no frigobar, no iron, mildew everywhere in the bathroom, toilet was dirty, maid refuse to clean, all wood heavily damaged. The food salty, restrooms dirty by the restaurant. Poor maintenance and housekeeping.

Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was adequate.

The room safe malfunctioned and needed to be opened by staff. While there seemed to be a hotel bar, it was never staffed and there weren’t any patrons. I did use the gym, but I was the only one ever there and it was a little strange having it off in a separate building. The grounds around the gym seem tired and could use some freshing up.

Unpleasant and inattentive staff, old and tired facilities with many broken things, overcrowded and messy restaurants, repetitive food options, buffet not sufficiently replenished, extremely noisy air conditioning system (inside and outside of the room), quality of the experience and service provided was not worth the amount of money paid.

The location is very good, right in front of the beach. Both pool areas, and exterior areas in general, are pretty good with a lot of space and always available so we didn't need to fight for a place.

In general, the hotel feels and looks like it's stuck in the 80s, which affects not only the decor but also the service, the cleanliness, and everything else. With a very untrained and unprofessional staff, there was lack of cleaners, lack of attention for details, and attention in general to the guests.

The pool in front of the beach is a nice spot.

The place is pretty old, and things don't work properly. Our bathroom door had termites; the water overflowed from the drain and soaked the whole bathroom when showering. It's not possible to control the rooms AC temperature, so at night would be very cold. Food options are very limited, and the staff isn't able to keep up with the number of people eating, so things would run out quickly and take a long time to refill. For the price we pay the staying isn't worth it.

This is a resort with limited food options and not a lot around it. Beach is very nice but they kick you off into the resort at 6pm. Wifi was bad.

Hotel location is great, right on the beach. Rooms are old, but clean. Pool size is great and area surrounded it has well kept grass and comfortable sun lounge chairs. Clean and tidy hotel.

Outdated. Crowded hotel. Not enough beach chairs.Crowded breakfast, standing in a queue for 30mins for tapioca and eggs.EXTREMELY Slow service. Not enough waiters to collect orders. Waiting time to get a drink or food was over than 1h once ordered. Rooms and breakfast area needs an upgrade. It's very old.There is no hot water in the evenings. My safe and WiFI didn't work in the room and card key failured several times (not nice when you need to run into the bathroom or get quick access to the room and being far away from the reception)Would advise to hire more staff and digiltalise the food/drink process.

I've been a customer of this hotel for more than 20 years, and I like the location, easy access to the airport and easy access to the beach.

At the moment it needs people who know what they're doing. The Catussaba's main reception is in need of professionals with a smile on their face and a cheerful good morning. The breakfast in the suites left something to be desired, so I went to have breakfast at the Catussaba resort. There are many things that I would personally rethink in order to improve the hotel.

-Rooms are very clinical and only have big bright lights (no ambiance)-Quality of food isn’t the best. Wouldn’t recommend buying all inclusive (breakfast buffet is poor)- There are A LOT of children everywhere. Could have been more relaxing if they didn’t play games and aqua-aerobics at max volume in the pool area

Very nice buffet breakfast and dinner. Great poolside tables. Access to beach. tTriple room has plenty of space for 3.

Beds are older style. Large bed is actually 2 twin beds together. Beach is not great for swimming or walking

The hotel location, gardens, beach and staff are amazing. Food was good. It is very big but feels cozy with little corners to go sit everywhere.

It needs repairs.. in my first room the air conditioning didn’t work, so I moved. In the second room the phone and safe didn’t work.

The hotel has a fantastic location near the beach. Great area outside.

The roms are not in a good condition. Price for a night would suggest better standard.we arrived late and the room we were given the toalett did not work. We got a now room but seemed still very old. Not very forth coming personal.. the beach was closed in the afternoon, seemed a bit to striced.

They need to clean the swimming pool better,and the beach in front of the property is beautiful but rough seas… be careful.

The food is not as good as it looks... it also takes forever to come if you order it separately (if you don't get the all-inclusive).Like 50min for a plate.
