    Pros +

    • The people were very nice.
    • Clean
    • We stayed one night at the hotel. The location isn’t in the old town, but it’s within easy walking distance. The room was quiet and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view from the window overlooked a large vineyard on the hillside and the Main River.

    Cons -

    • There is literally no parking. There is a lot across the street that you can pay to park in or you can park in the free lot which is on the other side of the bridge. Breakfast, very expensive, not included.
    • Overall, everything was great for a short stay. A small table in the room would have been useful, but we managed without it.
    • The wifi signal in the room was inconsistent (sometimes strong, sometimes weak), which made video meetings with my office more difficult. It would have been nice to have a microwave and a kettle in the room. The hotel breakfast seemed overpriced at 18 euros, so we ate at local bakeries and restaurants instead.

A well-run hotel with comfortable rooms and efficient staff who speak English. We loved the view of the Main river and the hilltop Marienburg fortress from our 6th-floor room. Having a small sofa and a large desk in the room were very nice for working. The bathroom, though small, was well-designed in its use of space, and the shower was strong. I loved having wooden keys instead of plastic ones; they worked fine and were much more ecofriendly. The hotel is a flat 20-minute walk (or a quick bus ride) to the historical city center or the train station. Some restaurants are closer (we loved Madame Nguyen's for good Vietnamese food with plenty of vegetables).

    Friendly staff

Floors dirty, very small bathroom, only one towel per person, only one pillow per person.

    7GabrielaPosted on: 7-22-2025

The room was spacious enough. Bedclothes and towels were clean and bed comfortable. Air conditioning works very good and the rooms are very good isolated, also from noise. It’s 11 minutes walk from the city center.

The bathroom facilities are not really clean, the shower head is full of calc and the sink drain and drain stopper have mould (Schimmel). The toilet has also calc and black mould… so this is quite upsetting.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, low price, what more could you want? Well, there was also a great seating area in the room, as well as a desk and chair. And we had a fantastic view of the fortress!

Getting there from the train was a little confusing using Google. You need to exit the station on the north side, turn left and walk until you see the tunnel going under the train tracks. Go through the tunnel, then take a right, walk until you reach the hotel.

Breakfast fine, location fine. Room clean, comfy bed.

No fridge in the room, kettle only if you asked and for a €20 deposit. When cleaning lady came in the middle of my stay, she didn’t collect rubbish. No free parking.

Nice service from the staff and bus stop very close by is handy

The toilet and bathroom were very smelly and just smelt unclean in general. The pillows on the bed are at end of life and need replacing The lights in the room are very dark and do not illuminate effectively

The staff is very friendly. The hotel is clean, we needed last minute place to stay with dogs and they could accommodate us.And they kindly stored many of our things after check out.

First we received the keycards to the room incorrectly, but it got sorted out.

Bed is comfy & room is clean

Free internet but it doesn't work. No car park, Difficult to access to Hotel to drop bags, No tea - coffee in the room, and only 2 small (1 size) towel each room.

    6Stefano M.Posted on: 2-8-2025

The room was clean and large enough, bathroom was “essential “ and quite small.

Quite expensive the room (200$/night) as well as the breakfast (18$). The location is not very nice although quite useful

    Spacious and good storage space

Too warm and stuffy at night , can’t open windows.

    10ElsaPosted on: 12-26-2024

Friendly staff, great breakfast, spacious rooms and great location, close to city centre.

    9JorgePosted on: 12-24-2024

The location and the breakfast buffet.

It does not have car parking facilities nearby.

    9AlbaPosted on: 12-22-2024

Good location, rooms were comfortable, good deal for the price.

There was no water fountains, all water needs to be purchased and it was very expensive, good thing there is a gas station crossing the street. Also we were not notified to bring our passports for the check in process (passport I fo is needed). There is no parking at the hotel (I used the parking filter when browsing for the hotel and this one came up) public parking is crossing the streer about 9 Euros per night.

    7WendyPosted on: 12-22-2024

Clean, friendly staff, big comfortable room.

Noisy from street noise as we had to leave our windows open due to it being very hot in room.No kettle.Parking difficult to find initially but in the end was convenient as just across the road from hotel. Pricey at 15 euros though.

    8NataliaPosted on: 11-5-2024

    the room was comfortable

There was no kettle in the room and I wanted tea so I had to go to the restaurant to buy one

    8SauliPosted on: 10-7-2024

Location, quiet, friendly staff, comfy bed

Expensive breakfast, curtains could make the room a bit darker for sleeping

    6SeokyoungPosted on: 9-24-2024

Near to city center(like 15 mins walk) and helpful staffs

This hotel is overpriced too muchRestroom wasn’t clean, and room looks so cheap and dark. The TV in there looks older than what my grandma had 15 years ago and so small.Compare to ‘AC hotel by Marriott’ they have similar distance to city center and price but AC hotel has bigger, luxurious room and lobby and they were so clean.I booked for 2 days but I canceled immediately as soon as I got to that room
