Breakfast buffet could definitely be more vegan friendly.

Location is close to everything

The pool had two shower off areas and there was lineup .. hotel is being renovated ...not in description but we did not hear any sound during our stay.

The hotel was in an amazing location. All the staff was super friendly. The price of drinks at the bar were affordable and the drinks were delicious. My husband loved the bed saying it was really comfortable.

The elevators smelt a little weird and so did the hallway leading to our room.

Close to the river and downtown

Two twin beds ate not a queen size bed…Woke up a lot in the crack between the beds!

Great location, very spacious family suite, much appreciated the complimentary drinks and fruit.

My experience at Maritim Hotel Würzburg was deeply disappointing due to a serious safety incident and the hotel’s inadequate response.On 3 October, my husband fell in the shower and dislocated his shoulder. The bathroom lacked visible safety signage or sufficient anti-slip measures. Reception informed us that an ambulance had been called and instructed us to remain in our room. We waited over 40 minutes in pain and confusion, only to later discover that emergency services had arrived but were not directed to our location. This delay caused my husband unnecessary suffering and could have been avoided with proper communication and protocol.Following the incident, I contacted the hotel multiple times to escalate the matter. Responses were often slow and inconsistent. When the hotel finally replied, their messages included several factual inaccuracies about our booking and the emergency response. Despite providing detailed documentation and requesting a refund based on what I believe was mishandling and a breach of duty of care, the hotel declined to offer any compensation.I am sharing this review to highlight the importance of clear emergency procedures and accountability. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Maritim Hotel Würzburg.

The staff did not seem to know their job, especially during the evening shift. I had clearly requested a disabled-friendly room in our booking, but when we arrived, the receptionist told me that I should have also called them to inform them. I really didn’t understand why they don’t read the requests that are already included in the reservation.Also, the bathroom towels were split by hand and placed very unprofessional way — it was honestly quite surprising and disappointing to see.

Dated rooms apparently it was remodelled in 2021 but our rooms looked very dated. I rated it higher than normal because of the excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was good. The Warm foods were limited, but the cold foods were great. The hotel restaurant where the breakfast was served was really nice, with a great view of the bridge and river.

The location was nice. About 10 minute walk from various notable places. 20 minutes at most from most of the places I was interested in.

Great location, within walking distance from the Mains river and from the city center. Great restaurant within 5-15mins walking distance. Easy for kids and babys with strollers. Good staff, amazing breakfast and comfort rooms.

Nothing in particular.A minor improvement: the staff at breakfast entrance were collecting room info for those who bought breakfast or charging for those who are adding breakfast on the spot.We had to wait in line long. The staff needs to be more efficient in splitting into two lines, to let those who pre booked breakfast to be faster in and not wait in line...

From check-in to check-out, everything of my stay was absolutely perfect.The staff were exceptionally kind.The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options that exceeded my expectations.Overall, it was a flawless experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking outstanding service and comfort.

Room very comfortable, nice and clean, very good bathroom with excellent shower power. The breakfast choice was superb and the view out of the breakfast area was even better, looking right up to the 'castle' at the top of the nearby hill.

The only thing that could have improved would be the weather but I can hardly blame the hotel for that.

Large room. Breakfast had a great choice and the location was near the centre and river.

Check in at the hotel was a disaster, we were a day late because of airport strike got to the hotel at 1 in the morning and they had no record of our booking in- spite of me informing them the day before through booking.com.Took an hour to sort out so checked in at 2 in the morning. I think the hotel should have given us a free night as we had to pay 90% of the day we lost.

The staff was incredibly friendly and provided top-notch service throughout my stay. The swimming pool was also well-maintained, ensuring both hygiene and comfort. If I have a business trip to Würzburg in the future, this hotel will be my top choice.

The room was very large and airy, bathroom equally so with a very powerful shower. Breakfast was an excellent choice of cereals, hot food and croissants etc with a really good coffee machine.

Excellent rooms, spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

Classic design and very comfortable services and room. We stayed in the Junior Suite with two kids and two dogs (so a large family group) and were very comfortable. Pricing was excellent for the value received. Staff was kind and we were treated very well. Breakfast was great and full of nice local products. The place exceeded our expectations by far!
