New hotel, friendly staff, got a small compliment for my birthday
Very clean rooms, friendly staff, welcome drink
Breakfast is overpriced.
Good room, good breakfast good service
The staf was helpfull and profetional. Room was clean and bad was comfortabale.
Staff were very pleasant and room smallish but adequate. We found free parking opposite the entrance to the car park.Enjoyed Wurzburg it was lovely walking along the river with plenty of bars along the way.
The hotel was a little out of the center.
Nice Breakfast, and welcome drink. Nice staff. Clean room. Everything
The room was quiet, except when some Chinese tourists insisted on having loud conversations in the hall (once at ca. 5 am while they were checking out). There are plenty of outlets. The shower is good-sized and has a non-slip floor. Quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand soap are provided. The mattresses were good and the air conditioning kept the room consistently cool. You can find a foosball and a pingpong table in the main lobby/dining area. The downstairs (breakfast, bar, and registration) staff are multi-lingual, nice, and patient. The breakfast offered a lot of variety and was ample. There's a good American-style diner a short walk away and a grocery store just down the road.
We should have remembered from our stay at the Moxy in Sydney, Australia, that this really isn't a hotel chain suitable for older guests (though there were quite a few present). To begin with, it was hard to find a place to pull in so one of us could get out and go register, and the parking garage is on a different street, so my husband had to call the front desk for directions to find it. The rooms are on the small side and you get minimal shelving and two hangers per person to hang on the wall. The beds creak and I suspect the duvets are polyester, as I overheated several times during each night and it certainly wasn't the fault of the A/C (and I don't get hot flashes!). Worst, though we saw the cleaning crew working near our rooms twice, our room was only prepared when we arrived. It was ignored for the succeeding two days, a real flaw. Beds unmade, no cleaning of the bathroom. That's a no-no when you're paying more than $200 a night. And there's no trash can in the room, only in the bathroom. The staff is overstretched down in the lobby, especially at night, when one person had to both handle the bar and make the food, meaning only pizza was available to eat. Breakfasts are accompanied by music with a strong beat, and the best-illuminated tables have low-hanging lamps over them which are a hazard for tall people like myself and my husband (I banged my head twice while preoccupied by carrying my breakfast tray). And you can walk into the center of the old town, but it's far enough away to make a taxi imperative if you need to get to the embarkation point for the river cruises quickly, it's a 25-minute walk otherwise.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Shower was decent.
Nowhere to properly hang clothes, the. At room lighting was so dim we couldn’t get ready for the day as we could barely see in the mirror. Parking was very expensive, and the food options to grab and go (as advertised) were none existent. Even a coffee to go was almost impossible (and one of us had to go without a lid).
The room was clean. Breakfast was okay.
The hotel felt more like a youth hostel with constant pulsing music. There were no tea/ coffee facilities in our room. I had to pay €25 to park in an unprotected car park (no security cameras seen either). This information was not clear at time of booking. The free complimentary drink on offer tasted like water with red food colouring in it. The hotel offered a 24-hr hour hot food service , but when we tried to buy dinner soon after our arrival, we were told that only (microwaved) pizzas were available as there was only one member of staff working the reception / bar. This is the worst booking I have made through Booking.com. The on-site rating value of this accommodation was much higher than our actual experience.
Location and comfortable bed.
My room was not daily cleaned at all till I checked out, which is not good. For the 3 nights they never cleaned it.There was no fridge in my room. There was no tea boiler or coffee maker in my room.Ther was no wardrobe in my room.Is good for only one night stay.
Good and clean. Nicely decorated room. Very friendly staff.
Breakfast was not so good. Lack of variety of chees, vegtable etc. In addition on Sunday it was imposoble to reach the buffe as a result of narrow coridor towards the food.We also did not like the fact that there is no coffe machine in the room and no closet at all.
Nice building clean and with good services but with too high costs vs offer…6€ a 0.75cl bottle of water no price exposed…people that work there forgot to smile seems they are unhappy to work with people. Lot of marketing but where is the substance?
Good location and is well connected to the main train station. Room is big, comfortable and clean.
I was happy with the hotel, the only thing that I was not expecting is that the room doesn't have a wardrobe to store the clothes. There are only a few hangers attached to a board on the wall, but not enough. But overall, I like everything.
Breakfast was good, staff were very friendly, international and helpful.Location and proximity to city centre was ok - 20 min walk.
Car parking is 25 euro per day, no discount offered for residents which was disappointing. Car park is not managed/owned by hotel.Hotel was busy and floors can be noisy with a lot of footfall and doors sometimes banging with residents coming and going.
Great place, good location, friendly people.
Wifi was sometimes unable, Breakfast was fine, but somewhat similar all days - I would appreciate a bit more diversity.
Modern hotel in a good location. Very comfortable bed.
The parking was really expensive. And generally I think the prices are a little bit overated for a small city like Würzburg
Modern, clean, good location and a great breakfast!
A €25 per night parking fee although there was plenty of parking in The Parkhaus… I think this fee should be part of the reservation fee
Location and new and fresh
Beds are quite noisy
