Moxy Darmstadt

The heating was on continuous and the wall thermalstat did not work. It can not control the fan and heat and it was 80 degrees for three nights and it was very difficult to sleep.

The housekeeping Dept was extremely annoying. Early in the morning they talk loud in the hallway, slam doors, and disobey the Do not distrub sign on the door. It's non stop knocking on the door regardless of telling them not today. They don't speak Ger

Hotel was new, friendly staff very helpful rlpf very clean,, food available.

The surrounding office building window are to close to each other. You can't open the curtains in your pajamas or walk out of the shower without closing the curtains. Hard to get natural sunlight into the room.

Good location

Very noisy hotel, everything can be heard from the room and I couldnt sleep well! Avoid!

Staff was amazing and lobby as well

Room was clean but I noticed the bathroom in particular still had small stains visible, and the bed sheets would easily and quickly be torn from the mattress. Not major problems anyways. Overall great stay

Had a great stay at the Moxy. 5 minutes walk from the train station and very close to the tram to the centre. Staff were friendly and excellent. The room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was great. Beautiful modern hotel. Great breakfast.

The AC wasn’t working well

Very convenient location, comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast (lots of variety, delicious food), welcoming lobby/lounge space, useful storage lockers. We were even offered a complimentary drink when we arrived!

The bathroom light is on a motion sensor so there's no way to keep it off in the middle of the night

Staff are slow, they are not professional and supportive, breakfast seems to be good but in 9 o’clock most of the thing are finished and nobody does not help.Guidance to hotel parking was not good

This was our second stay at Moxy Darmstadt, and once again, we really enjoyed the stylish, space-themed decor and the well-thought-out common areas, which offer plenty of comfortable seating — ideal for remote working. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, and we appreciated having two parking options: free street parking if available, or the convenience of the paid hotel garage. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the included breakfast provided a generous variety of delicious choices. The overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax after a long day.

During this stay, we were assigned an accessible room — although we hadn’t specifically requested it, it was probably the only double room available. While this wasn’t a major issue, the bathroom setup meant there was only a curtain around the shower area, and after just one person showered, the entire bathroom floor was wet. Additionally, there was very little surface space in the bathroom for toiletries, which made it a bit inconvenient.

I really enjoyed the stylish, space-themed decor and the thoughtful design of the common areas — there were plenty of seats, making it a great spot for remote work. The staff at the lobby were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated having two parking options: free street parking (when available) and paid hotel garage parking. My room and bathroom were spotless, and the included breakfast offered a generous and tasty variety of options. The overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, which added to the comfort of my stay.

The hotel is located about 30 minutes on foot from the city center, so dining and shopping options aren’t immediately nearby. The room itself was quite small — perfectly fine for one guest, and manageable for two if you’re only staying a night or two. However, the lack of cupboards or storage space made it less convenient for longer stays. I was also disappointed that I couldn’t regulate the temperature in the room; air conditioning appears to be active only during summer. Opening the window helped, but unfortunately the room was directly above the main entrance and smoking area, so cigarette smoke sometimes came in.

The wifi worked ok

Food was poor - served salad that was brown because it was out so long.Bed was hardNo strorage - just 3 hangers on a metal grid screwed to the wall. Eventually I was provided with a couple more hangers

I liked the atmosphere, kind staff, positive feelings, very clean place.Breakfast was great. Recepcionist was very cool. I felt very relaxed. Definitely to recomend.

Nice and joyful hotel, looks modern. I did like the room and bathroom.

Breakfast was not that "great" as was said. Just eggs, pastry, youghurts. Decent, but not anything special.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern and has a fun yet professional vibe. It is well located for organizations / companies in the area, short walk to the train station, easy access to the town centre.

Very minor points, both resolved. Unfortunately on arrival booking system was undergoing an update so unable to receive room key until the following morning. Non-smoking room had a smell of smoke, reported to staff and they were very proactive in resolving.

The room is clean, small but sufficient for a short stay.

Hotel's staff's lack of professional communication. Upon check-in we were informed about the security deposit. 4 weeks later I'm still trying to contact the hotel via email about the reimbursement but no reply.

They claimed reservation wasnt paid,eventhough i have paid via Booking.com, which a bookjng.vom agent confrmed. Was forced to pay at the front desk again. Very rude associate. Emailed them about refund, sent invoice from booking.com, didnt get an answer. Booking.com agent told me she tried to contact them on the phone multiple times,she couldnt reach them. She emailed them,no amswer. Associat at the check ouf said they made a mistake at the check in, and shouldnt have forced me to pay again. But said we need to wait for refund. Very unprofessional rude staff.

Double charged,staff doesnt know how to read reservations. If in doubt they should have checked booking.com.page. they didnt. But kept claiming it wasnt paid. If your staff dont know how to check if reservation is ADP, and cant tell virtual card from private one, it means you have a huge fish to fry. Unprofessional and rude. No apology,nothing.

I did not like cleaness and facilities. the hotel should have even 1 wardroab for cloths

I'd like to hve even one small wardroad in my room because I stayed here for a week and it was very uncomfortable to save clothes in the bag
