Idea Hotel Piacenza

The overall staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was generous.

The wi-fi was a problem.

Extremely difficult to find by car. The satnav. address was vague. There was no name or identity visible from road level. The only name apparent was above roof level - invisible from a car.

It is near the motorway.

The hotel and room need maintenance. The room was just ok, no extras, no drinking water, bathroom sink cabinet was coming away from wall. The shower was like a horror movie with no working light in black mould filled alcove. The corridors have plastic sheets covering over the utilities. It is very surprising, it's like there has been no investment in 10 years.Also the WiFi doesn't work in room.

The hotel is close to the exit of highway and provide with good breafast. The room is clean and quiet but it seems that some renovation is going on in the corridor.

The lift does not work properly.

The hotel is a bit run down and the coffee in the morning was horrible

Coffee on buffet is bad but real espresso is included in price on bar which saves it entirely.

Disappointing

Desperately in need of renovation. It’s acceptable for one night but not more. For example, the shower constantly alternates between hot and cold in a continuous loop, making it impossible to set a stable temperature

There was trash in the parking lot, old equipment, smells in the hallways, and the windows were open all the time and overnight.The room was musty, smelled of smoke. Broken shower head, broken hair dryer. I looked like part of the hotel is under reconstruction.Overall impression of ugly old interior. For breakfast, instant imitation coffee from the vending machine, it was undrinkable.The price does not correspond to the quality.

The climat system didnt work, the bathroom was sit, the main door no work, everyting need renew (inclouding the hotel) ect.

It was available in our hour of need (our pre-booked accommodation fell through, as we arrived and the host wasn't expecting us).Breakfast was good.

This was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. They gave us our first room and the floor was flooded. The receptionist said it was because they were currently 'renewing' the hotel. When he gave us a different room, we realized that air conditioning wasn't working. We called reception and the guy said air conditioning wasn't working in the whole hotel. When we asked why they didn't say it in the booking listing he just shrugged and didn't even apologized. We tried to sleep with the windows open and you could hear other guests speaking from other rooms. Of course we had to close it again and sleeping with no air conditioning with 30 degrees was basically impossible. As if that wasn't enough, when we came back from having breakfast our room door was stuck. We had to wait so long before the technician came to open our door. I also had a very important appointment planned and I was late because of that. On top of that, they were renovating the room where the reception was and it was very dangerous to be there. When we went to reception to complain about everything, a piece of ceiling almost hit my mom in the head. These people were working on the ceiling right where the reception was and they didn't care about the risk of hurting customers, nor they were taking security measures. Plus when we complained the receptionist, once again, shrugged and didn't really care about the whole situation and didn't even apologize.

The boat and staff were excellent. Centrally located and close to motorway.

The air conditioning was broken and the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable.

This hotel is very close to the autostrada exit which is convenient. But it's a built up location and the approach is not particularly attractive. There is a lot of traffic noise. Inside, the hotel was fine. Staff were welcoming. Our room was clean. The bathroom could do with a bit of a refurb, especially the shower, but toiletries were provided and plenty of towels, so it was perfectly adequate. The hotel is quite old fashioned upstairs and would benefit from some updating. Our room was comfortable but noisy from traffic and later, this being a Saturday night, from some people who'd had a bit too much to drink! Excellent breakfasts.

Traffic noise, the general location, but didn't really expect anything different given proximity to the autostrada.

The toilet flush button was broken had to push my finger onto the wall to flush it, shower a little on the small size

The biggest plus of this hotel are very 60s 70s rooms , and the fact that the rooms are super warm.Good breakfast

Food and silence

I want a refund and I want to make a review of this bad hotel that I was ! I have photos with proof that it was 3 bugs inside , also tv was not working , heating it was working in the bathroom and in the room only worked air conditioning which was noisy ! Also we was with a small dog and on the app it doesn’t say that we must pay 15€ tax for the animal ! This is robbery
