Hotel Atlante Plaza

The staff it was very friendly, they treated us like a king, I like to thanks all of the staff, specifically the front desk, restaurant and room service to make us very welcome!

The room was very comfortable, specially the bed sheets and pillows. We loved the pool area also and the pool being heated for colder moments! The breakfast is amazing and has tons of options, and the gym is well equipped with a beautiful view.

That the pools closes at 8pm and that it doesn't have a view of the beach. It's a real waste to be at the top of the building like that and not have translucent walls to see the view. It would bring much more value and beauty if we could see the view...

The facility is located in an amazing area with a great view. However, maintenance for elevators is needed very badly

Elevators!!!

The people were nice and the tapioca lady made amazing tapiocas! Rodrigo the bell hop helped us immensely.

The showers didn’t had doors. We recommend installing some glass doors to complete the box. Also, the kitchen staff should be able to give boxes “para o viagem” we asked if we can take some tapiocas to go. But, they commented something about the nutritionist preventing them from providing the box to take our food. We thought that policy was a little strange.

Breakfast was phenomenal

Dinner was just OK and the wine prices were exorbitant. But they are remodeling the main dining room.

The service is great . Food outstanding… Lots of things to do in the hotel .. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful..

There is a strange odor in the elevators … Other than that the hotel is absolutely lovely..

Excellent buffet breakfast - rooftop is nice and chill with an amazing view. Fantastic place to spend Carnival in Recife - it’s just far enough from the center to be quiet but it’s a quick uber.

Food options!

Breakfast was very good, no comments. Location is good, walking distance to a lot, rooms are basic for this star rating. Our room is for sure not worth the hotel star rating. Pool location is nice but no one at bar - a lot of stuff just laying around,...

Room basic for this level of hotel. Would have expected more. We arrived at 8:30AM so well before check in time but it did not seem at all any efforts were made to help us get our room early. Price to get it early was quoted at 300 BRL !!!

The bedroom and bathroom had a strong smell of mould. I could see black mould inside the shower box in the bathroom, which was very unpleasant. I had to keep the bedroom window open most of the time, and it was very hot, so I couldn’t use the air conditioner much.On my last night, we were having dinner at the restaurant when the waiter accidentally dropped a tray with all our food. As a result, we had to wait for them to prepare everything again, which took quite some time. By the time our food finally arrived, it was already late, and the staff started hurrying us. While we were still eating, a waiter stood nearby, staring at us with the bill in his hand, waiting for me to sign it. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn’t even enjoy our meal properly.Before heading back to our bedroom, I asked for some water to be sent up. They assured me they would bring it, but it never arrived. I called reception, and they told me someone was on the way, yet nobody came. I went downstairs to ask for it in person, but they refused to give it to me, insisting that it had to be brought to the bedroom. I returned to the bedroom and waited, but still, no one came. I called again, yet nothing happened. In the end, we went to bed thirsty, and I couldn’t even take my medication as I had no water. This was beyond ridiculous.Throughout all of this, not once did the staff apologise for the poor service. The next morning, during checkout, I finally spoke to a different staff member, who was very apologetic. She assured me that a manager would call me that same day. However, five weeks have passed, and I still haven’t received any call from them.This was a deeply disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

We love everything about Atlante Plaza. This is the best hotel in town. The employees are very professional and nice. Ana and her team are exceptional. You can tell how happy they are to serve you. The hotel is beautiful, clean and at a great location. My husband and I have been staying at Atlante Plaza since 2019 and have recommended it to all our friends. And, we’ll continue to come back!

Location was fantastic, but a LITTLE bit far from the main beach to reach on foot. Just stopped for snacks and sips along the way. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL. We had the rooftop pool to ourselves and the room was clean and super comfortable. We enjoyed the option to open the windows and feel the sea breeze! Staff was incredibly helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Boa Viagem, just 10 minutes from the main plaza with lots of nightlife. The upgraded modern room was bright, comfortable, and well-equipped, making my stay much more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options.

The initial room I received was very old, dark, and not suitable for working, with barely any strong bright light. The elevators were extremely slow, hot, and lacked ventilation, making them uncomfortable to use. The pool area was disappointing, as it felt isolated and didn’t offer a good view of the sea. The loud ambient music, especially the saxophone, was sometimes overwhelming.

Breakfast was amazing and the service of high quality... The breakfast items tasted awesome and was so many things to choose from. Also the ambiance was well done and the live music made for a very good experience

The receptionist Eloise greeted us with the warmest welcome and big smile. She was so professional. The room upgrade made our stay extra special. This hotel is the best in Recife by a long way. We will be back again????
