Pros +
- Not 4 star hotel
- The location was good - 20 minutes walk from the Train Station and 10 minutes from the town centre. The hotel is very close to a tram stop which made longer journeys easy. The Staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
- The location and the staff
Cons -
- I’m not sure how this hotel got a 4* rating.Didn’t feel clean, aircon broke (looking at reviews since at least 2023), no door look out hole, cheaply painted and wall papered rooms felt like a hostel. Walking into reception looked nice but as soon as you used the stairs to get to room it looked like a block of flats.Requires refurb.
- Parking was out of order
- The restaurant was the worst. We were cold the whole time (despite eating with our coats on), the food was pricey for very common stuff, it was served in cold plates. Definitely not worth it. Might have been due to the staff being on holiday, but closing the restaurant for good could have been a better option then. I had the same plate (gratin de ravioles) in a small restaurant close to Lans (15km from Grenoble) 2 days later, it was better, warmer, more filling, and cheaper. Also overhyping everything, see the picture of the tapwater bottle in the room...

The bed comfort was great. So was breakfast.

I Stay only for a night, nice room, good breakfast neat and clean
Even the premium room was super small. There is no closet to unpack into; you must live out of your suitcase. Bed is a 140cm bed. I specifically requested two duvets for the double bed in advance - which was not the case on arrival. We asked for it and received another double-sized duvet, with the excuse that they don't have smaller ones... (sic)There is no toilet brush in the bathroom/toilet. The tub did not drain properly. There are only paper cups in the room. So far I thought that this is more an optical nuisance that contributes to a feeling of (non-)well-being - now I realized that if you put a (paper) cup of water on your nightstand, a paper cup won't hold it until the morning... :DAt breakfast, when we asked if they would have ANY vegetables for us, we were pointed to the baked potatoes and the hummus... To the credit of the lady refilling the breakfast buffet, she brought us tomatoes - and the second morning as well, without having to ask. :) This was unfortunately the only positive experience we had in the hotel. The parking garage is so narrow that with opened mirrors our car had about 3cms left on both sides to the walls.

Very attractive interior and comfy bed.
Not very generous in terms of the tea, coffee or toiletries. Just a couple of soap dispensers in the bathroom. We booked because the hotel had a restaurant, only to find it was closed at weekends, which was frustrating given how difficult it is to get a meal in Grenoble on a Saturday night!
Friendly staff. Decent location.
Shower was not very powerful.
It was dog friendly- and the gentleman on reception was very polite
The room was too hot and the aircon was not aircon it was a heater so I set it to 5 to cool the room and when I got back it was an oven - I called reception and was only then told it was a heater not a cooler - so a very uncomfortable night was endured
friendly staff, clean roomsi
failing lift, confusing billing system
The receptionist was helpful
Restaurant unavailable for dinnerNo hairdryer Breakfast overly expensive
Easy to find, friendly
Parking was very tight for a medium car
The service was very good. Especially LIV who served us in the bar and restaurant. The facilities were great
It was 30 degrees hot weather and the air con wasn't working. A fan was provided but our room was very very hot! We couldn't sleep and couldn't get cool.
Very friendly staff, easy to communicate with. The rooms were very nice and spacious.
Hidden costs that were not disclosed upfront (even though these had been listed as "included" in the cost). Ended up paying at least 20€ more for the night plus parking.
We arrived very late in the evening in heavy rain. The receptionist was very helpful in helping us to find the car park even though he was getting wet too!
The breakfast is fantastic!
There is no hairdryer in the room, and only paper glasses instead of real glasses. The view from the window looked to a dirty courtyard. No aircondition.
breakfast ok
We went in this hotel for a few nights and took 3 rooms with my family,We had to change 3 times of room, my first room was having a serious leakage in the bathroom, in the second room the bathtub drain was not working, in the third room same problem, finally i went to the supermarket to buy a sucker to be able to take a bath... the employee from the hotel was helpful but unable to fix the problem. I send an email to the general manager. No answer! My 2 sons were staying in 2 others room with fixed windows (closed) and no AC.... it was too hot to sleep properly. One of my sons got bugs in the bed, he went back to Paris full of bed bug bite, saw a doctor, complain to the hotel... no reaction.Regards, Jean marc Lourau
Gladly the hotel had provided another room to my partner and younger kid
You can’t open the windows at the room, the room was without any oxygen in it, we finally got sleep at around 3amThe room with no fresh air
It was a good breakfast.
The car parking was not good. The bays are very narrow so unless you have a small car you may have to push it into the bay. From one side to the other it was narrow so you have to make a number of turns to get in or out.
Nice comfortable hotel. Nice lounge and bar area and friendly helpful staff.
