The location is good, and the staff are good.

The cleanliness is terrible. The wi-fi worked only in one place in the room.

Breakfast was the only part that I enjoyed. There was a variety of food, two types of juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, cereal, and a nice view to the city. The AC and shower worked well.

The gym was my biggest pet peeve. The ad mentions the existence of one but I found a tiny room exposed to Recife's summer sun, no ac, no dumbbells, no mets, no cattle bells, nothing. Only a broken treadmill, a broken stationary bike, a broken cable machine, and a fourth machine that I didn't try but was problem out of order too. Summarizing it can't be called a gym/fitness center. This was a deposit room for antique equipment in the game room, which did not look very nice either.

Hotel is well located. Very close to the main atractions. Breakfast was ok. Room was.clean. for the price Pool terrace had a great viee from the city I think it was a great deal for the price! Good for a quick business stay or overnight. I will come back.

Hotel needs some TLC. Its an old.hotel located in an old town. Recife buldings are old and need attention in some areas.

The room was small and bathroom tiny and decrepit, not anything at all like the photos online. False advertising in my opinion.

Horrible structure, elevators seem like they will break.

Beds, the room and its stinky smell, the AC doesn’t work, you need to kick the door for it to open, terrible breakfast place (it’s extremely hot), gym doesn’t work.

Great location to do sightseeing in downtown Recife. Close to shopping and restaurants. Easy to get an uber car and move around. Very good breakfast. Beautiful view of the city from the pool.

I saw a Spanish speaking guest struggling to get some information from the staff person he was talking to. I had to help. The hotel needs staff with the basics of Spanish and English.

Good location, friendly staff

It was very loud outside, some sort of machine was running all night.When i arrived in the room, it smelled heavily like cleaning materials. The next day I used the toilet and it backed up through the shower drain. 3 towels weren't enough to stop the flow. Thus I understood why they used such heavy disinfectant right before I checked in. They really should have fixed it properly before putting another guest in that room.

Beds very uncomfortable, outside air-conditioner not belonging to the room so noisy that it was hard to sleep

Swimming pool at the roof was nice. But I didn't trust the windows at the edge of the building. So especilly with a small child it can be dangerous.

Room was filthy, the place was terrible - full of drogged junkies in the streets. Reception was slow. It took them long to check us in. Building on the photos is not recognizable. No table in the lobby as shown on a phone. The sofa was teared, dammaged, nothing as on the photo. A lot of infiltration from the roof - watter drops. The breakfast was nothing attractive as on the photo. It is not 3-starred hotel. It is a lie! Booking should refund as the money because they are promoting a lie on their pages!

Just the location, the rest was terrible.

-The room before all. Just terrible. I didnt sleep all night because of the noise of the Air Con of all the neighbouring room. -Water dropping from the roof just made it worse....-bed sheets were not clean either-Breakfast was better than expected, but not good either.-much more than general maintenance is needed.

The location is great especially during the carnaval.

They didn’t have enough towel for all the guests. The breakfast was over in one of the days.

Location

The shower had a electrical socket in it. This would be against code and illegal in the USA. Didn't have any hot water, just cold water for 3 days. Finally a maintenance man came and reset the circuit breakers because electricity is used for hot water. Then after 3 months the circuit breaker would go off again, you'd have to get out of the shower wet just to flip the switch. Eventually someone will be serious injured with a electric shock. Water and electric don't mix. I even sent picks of this set up to a contractor and a plumber friend of mine who thought it was bizarre and crazy

They tried to give us a room without a window! it was a dark passage, horrible...! We didn't accept that room and then got one to the front, which was not exactly confortable, but acceptable. Hotel in general need renovation, breakfast room is a cantine.

The staff and the location. Breakfast was ok, aiming at quantity rather than quality.

If you are looking for a location to film your next horror show, look no further. I can't believe this is still rated as a 3 star hotel. For the price you are paying, it is just ridiculous.

Very good value price and location

Uncomfortable beds. Water in shower cold or slightly lukewarm. Reception staff not friendly.

Breakfast was very nice specially serving staff was very humble and soft spoken. Junior the member of serving staff very nice and dedicated to his work

Some more vegetarian food should be there
