- Looks beautiful. Nice property and spacious rooms. It's a likely the best, or one of the best places to stay in Bundi.
- This is much nicer than it looks in the pictures and certainly much nicer than a two-star hotel. Many people told us that this is the nicest hotel in Bundi and we can well believe it. It is a renovated 400-year-old mansion that was the home of the king's mother. The rooms are all tastefully done, the air conditioning works great, there is a wonderful rooftop restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious. Best of all, were the people. Everybody was super friendly and courteous and helpful. A particular shout out to the manager rajat for his continued service and helped with everything. Suggest contacting them on WhatsApp because it was the easiest means of communication.
- The cleanliness, the food, the staff… everything was great
Cons -
- Staff was a little cold, though they were adequate. The food was mediocre, but the location and ambience are nice. In terms of converted havelis, I think Dev Niwas still has a way to go to bringing in modern conveniences.
- Nothing! Everything was fantastic!

The cleanliness, the food, the staff… everything was great
A very clean and comfortable stay, food of local dish, was too good. Seems recently renovated. Pool was superb, even if small. Staff was very dedicated and helpful. Since parking was far away, an auto was provided free, to shuttle. I think a few shelves and pegs in the bathroom would help. On the whole it was worth much more than what I paid, even if off-season.
Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms. The manager rajat is extremely friendly, professional and helpful , has great local knowledge and helped us make the most of our time in beautiful bundi!

Fantastic location with views of Bundi Palace from rooftopBeautiful building that was the home of mother of King. Excellent food- a la carteBanana LassiVery polite and friendly staff
Beautifully well looked after hotel with nice central courtyard and swimming pool. Lovely roof top views and one of the few if not the only place in lovely friendly Bundi where you can have a discreet beer at sunset. Rooms were spotless and beds comfortable.
First place on our India travels where breakfast wasn’t included which we would have expected for a medium price hotel.
Very nice location. Great rooftop with nice views.
Felt very much like a big hotel. If you like that, its perfect here.Restaurant staff feels a little bit tired. Orders took quite long. Food a bit expensive.
Beautiful hotel, clean and well maintained facilities. Very comfortable stay at prime location in Bundi and amazing views from the rooftop of the hotel. Very good value for money. Most of all, the staff was very kind and we felt welcome. We will definitely when visiting Bundi again!
Nothing!
Dev Niwas is pretty and the pool is gorgeous. The rooftop had a beautiful view of the illuminated palace. Staff was excellent and helpful. The price was inexpensive.
The street leading to the entrance might bother some people.
The staff were lovely. The hotel was also very nice.
The owner of the hotel is extremely rude. I got 1 bag of laundry done and didn't see the laundry card with the prices on. When the laundry came back it was the same price as the hotel room for 1 night. I was really shocked and tried to discuss this with the owner but he continuously spoke over me and wouldn't let me finish speaking. He threatened me with the police because I told him the laundry was extremely over priced and I didn't want to pay such a huge price. It was very difficult because the staff at the hotel were so kind and lovely. He is lucky to have good staff because they are what make the experience wonderful.
We returned to stay at Dev Niwas. The staff are so helpful, kind and courteous. It's a very beautiful Haveli, with a lovely pool setting where we enjoyed swims both early morning and at end of the day. Comes highly recommended to stay here in the peace and quiet of this beautiful Haveli.
Beautiful place to stay. Loved the pool and way it is set in the centre of the Hotel. Excellent facilities. High quality furnishings and tastefully decorated. Beautiful rooms. Extras provided at this Hotel.
The hotel is in a great location , an easy walk to the palace, step wells and local market . The room was lovely , beds were very comfortable and hot showers . The staff were always helpful and despite the renovations going on it was a pleasure to stay . Next time we will book when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the pool. The rooftop is magic
There were renovations going on so it was a bit noisy at times
Very aesthetic courtyard area/ pool, nice bathrooms in rooms
Room was quite stuffy, and neither wifi or mobile network worked in the room (I think the walls are quite thick concrete), works okay in courtyard
The Dev Niwas was our favourite hotel during our trip to India. We arrived tired and sick. We found a beautiful oasis of comfort and calm. It's a lovely place, with a pool at the bottom of the courtyard. Our room had a panoramic view of Bundi fort, of kite fliers and monkeys climbing over rooftops. The staff, and especialĺy the manager Rajat, could not have been kinder and helped us get well and enjoy our stay in delightful Bundi. The restaurant was also really good.
Everything was perfect.
Beautiful heritage hotel, nicely and tasteful renovated, CLEAN,!!!!Wonderful staffVery good food.
Hotel is beautiful, clean, well located and good courteous staff
There was no New year Program.
It was wonderful experience staying in Dev Niwas. Staffs and ambience was mesmerising.
The cost of food could have been little cheaper, though taste was awesome in all three meals
