NH Lecco Pontevecchio

It was conveniently located for both boat and train access. It was very clean, breakfast was included, we were upgraded at no extra cost, our view over the river was lovely.

This was really more of a convention style hotel which is not normally what we would choose. Having said that, it was very comfortable and convenient.

The hotel is very nice. The services are very good, and the reception people are very nice and happy to support. The location is close to the center of Lecco and to the lake.

Nice Location with approx. 5 min walk to reach public transports, nice river view balcony, spacious room, quite hotel, great reception staff with high level of wellness to help.

Although all hotel staff were respectful; there was one lady staff in breakfast hall reacted us realy bad when we choosed a table for breakfast which is not her right to act as such. Breakfast were almost the same for every day but its not major issue.

I had issue with my electric rental car that I couldn’t recharge it in the hotel nearby charging facilities. Hotel team lead by Nader worked very hard to solve my issue then suggested an electric charging facility in the nearby town which worked perfectly and charged my car. Thanks to NH hotel team. Your hard efforts are really appreciated.

The staff was very helpful. The room was spacious. The location is right on the lake and central in Lecco, but the town itself is small.

10 min walk from city center, spacious room, good beds

Bathtub and shower were not working properly, need maintenance. Breakfast buffet was not refilled properly and there were times with very limited offering even at 9h on Sunday. Rotten tomatoes were served there with mold and not replaced by the waiters.

Breakfast was good. lots of choices of cereals, protien, breads and fruits. Room was clean and bed was very comfy.Location is little far from the center, but its on the river and Quiet part of town, so I like it. Couldn't find any taxi from the train station, so I have to walk 1km with my luggage. Wish the hotel have some type of Ride share.Because I saw two more ladies walking behind me going to the same hotel.

One night we had dinner due to thunderstorm and the dinner was sub standard, high price.Standard rooms don't have coffee / tea maker. I am a heavy tea drinker and it was not convenient to go downstairs at the bar to get hot water. by the time I come to my room the water is already cold.Not sure how much it is to add that small electric kettle.???

Breakfast was good, room was good and the location was good.

Disappointed the restaurant was not open for dinner and felt when we booked we should have been advised of this. The front desk staff were not friendly at all.

Very attentive personal, we requested to change the room with a better view and they were happy to assist. And kudos to the barman - he stayed late, even after his working hours, to serve us with best aperol and Campari spritz in the town!Breakfast was good, especially their croissants!

Room service: A bottle of water was provided only on the first day. At the coffee station, used cups were not replaced, and coffee was not replenished after it was used. A used tissue was left on the bathroom counter.

LocationAlthough one of the photos shows the hotel as being directly on the sandy lakeshore, this is misleading and does not accurately reflect its actual position.

Overall Impression:The hotel is overrated and does not fully meet expectations, especially given the rates they charge.Location & Comfort:The location is decent, and the bed mattress is comfortable. However, the pillows are substandard and need improvement.Housekeeping:Housekeeping does not consistently replace all towels during daily cleaning unless specifically requested. Additionally, many of the towels are in poor condition—frayed, worn out, and no longer suitable for guest use. Given that the hotel is often fully booked and clearly generating solid revenue, it’s disappointing that these basic standards are being overlooked.Breakfast:The breakfast is underwhelming, with limited variety. While it may be acceptable for some, the offering does not reflect the price point of the hotel. There’s a clear need to upgrade and diversify the breakfast options to better align with guest expectations.

Breakfast was really good! A lot of choices of pastries. Beautiful view from the balcony. Nice walk to the center of town! good restaurants around!
