    Pros +

    • Very good hotel, rich breakfast, very friendly staff which assisted us for any need. Great location just in-front of two train stations and the bus stations. Many restaurants locate in walking distance.
    • The location was beautiful and peaceful. The property was very comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable— especially the manager and the kitchen staff!
    • Close to the station

    Cons -

    • We have no complaints—everything met or exceeded expectations.
    • No early check-in whatsoever. Very picky breakfast pricing. “Full” breakfast is not a good value compared to “express” breakfast. Very small selection. The bread was nice though. (Not included in the express breakfast…)
    • Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable or relaxed during our stay. In the mornings and afternoons, it was quite noisy due to the tram passing by and tram' staff movement and tallking in the corridors. When we first arrived and checked into the room, there were no basic amenities like an electric kettle, plates, or cups. We had to ask for them, and they were only brought to us the next day around noon.Twice, hotel staff opened our room door while we were inside, even though it was locked from the inside! On two other occasions, during our rest time — even though we had placed a "Do Not Disturb" sign — staff came to install a sensor and to deliver a paper.Overall, we didn’t feel the peace or privacy we expected from our room.

Good breakfast, lovely and friendly staff at all times. A toaster would be an asset, they are not expensive. The room was very comfortable. The location perfect.Reception staff extremely efficient and more than helpful at all times. Excellent!

Bar closed very early and all the doors locked and lights dimmed. I felt like this was more of a hotel for school parties not really adults. This is the negative side and will probably influence my choice in the future. Sadly you cannot check in until after 4pm or even drop off your bags as the place is locked up. I was therefore forced to pay another hotel to care for my bags as we arrived at lunchtime. The jacuzzi was slippery and I fell badly.

Clean well designed , quiet .Lovely warm room ( not too warm !) fantastic location close to station and fab cable cars to town .Nice pool , very friendly staff Can’t wait to go back

Check in was a bit inconvenient -you couldn’t check in between 12 and 4 - or drop a bag .

Fantastic location opposite Valleen gondola that takes you up to the slopes and saint gervais. Airport shuttles drop you right outside your hotel.Spa was lovely and warm (I've stayed in other places where it's not warm enough).Hotel is lovely and staff are friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

Only minor criticism would be the hot breakfast choice as there was only streaky bacon and scrambled eggs in terms of hot food. We would've eaten there every morning if there were sausages, fried or poached eggs, baked beans, and a toaster for the bread. Was really looking forward to some hot toast but sadly there was no toaster. Only mentioning this as we'd like to stay again and we'd definitely get breakfast every day if there were a greater selection of hot choices and a toaster.A mini fridge in the room would be great too, and an option to connect the tv to our Netflix account would be amazing as we like to ski all day and then relax in bed in the evenings. Still a fantastic hotel and would highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

The room, the view, the pool, sauna facilities were great.Staff were friendly and helpful

Floor cleaning could be improved. Otherwise the room was tidy and well looked after.

The swimming pool, and the family room is comfortable enough for 2 adult, 2 small kids.

    Separate toilet from the bathroom.

Clean, perfect location next to the Valleen.

A gluten friendly bread option at breakfast would be appreciated.

Great location right next to Mont Blanc Tramway. Lovely breakfast. Cosy, quiet and comfortable rooms.

    Pillows could do with improvement!

We booked our stay as we planned to come in by train from Chamonix for the purpose of riding up on the Tramway du Mt. Blanc. The hotel gets its name from its adjacency to the Tramway station and to the St.Gervais train station. We came in early, at about 8AM, as planned, as the hotel had agreed to store our bags while we rode up the mountain. Upon returning from the cog railway trip, we found a nice bar across the street from the hotel and had several drinks. Upon checking in, we found that the hotel was much nicer than we had imagined. Our room was on ground level, and there is an enclosed swimming pool {which was open} across a patio from our room. Oure room was large and comfortable. We walked a block away from the hotel and found an exceptional Italian restaurant where we had dinner. We enjoyed a very good buffet breakfast the following morning, before resuming our travels by train to Milan.

There was nothing that we found that we did not like. The hotel does not keep its from desk open throughout the day, but this was not an issue for us.

Good value. Kettle in room. It was only a one-night stay so we didn’t have time to visit the spa.

Right across the street from the train station and a great restaurant. More shops and restaurants just around the corner. Friendly staff, clean comfy room, a solid value.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, convenient location if you have an early train to catch. Staff was nice (when they were around).

Not only can you not check in until 4pm (quite late) but between 12 and 4 the hotel is locked up completely and the staff disappears - meaning you can't even drop off bags. Enjoy dragging your suitcases and backpacks around the sad industrial zone that is Le Fayet while you wait. They also don't respond to messages. Unacceptable for a HOTEL.Oh and the bathrooms are designed to flood if you take a shower (big tubs, no curtain or door). That's fun too.

    Best location.Nice breakfast.Kind staff.Good pool and cozy sauna.Reasonable price.

Hotel was on a nice location and easy to reach. Clean room and shower.

Booking.com showed the hotel as breakfast included when we were selecting the place. But after making the reservation there were no mentions of this and we had a surprise on the first morning after breakfast. More a Booking.com problem than the hotel itself.

Easy check-in. Very well located right next to the station. Helpful staff and lots of amenities and restaurants nearby.
