The Naini Retreat Nainital by Leisure Hotels

Location, view of the lake, town and the mountains in a serene and garden like ambiance. Of course the meals were very tasty starting with the breakfast buffet, evening tea and the sumptuous dinner menu.

Our room was a suite with two bedrooms, and the room felt stuffy and dark. Updating the interior and more daylight through the room could help.

Lovely location. The place was beautifully quieter even as the town below was chaotic. Staff is very supportive. Room was very clean and kids enjoyed the duplex setup.

Nothing worth writing .

Location is amazing ? The architecture of the building reminds of old English towns. The view around is superb and the visuals are stunning ????Staff was helpful and cheerful ?

Bonfire was a disappointment. There was a small fire in the middle and a group of people surrounded it not letting any space for others.

The location is excellent with nice view of the Nainital lake. The staff is well mannered.

There are too many steps for one to climp up & down while staying in the hotel & let me tell it’s not comfortable at all. So if you’re traveling with kids or elderly persons; pls be extremely careful. The facilities are not upto the mark. The cleanliness is also an issue.

Staff very non courteous and ill mannered staff.The staff was not at all welcoming only Rohit at the front desk and the elderly waiter Radhay were absolutely good the rest better said nothing the rooms were not ready even for late check in and nobody was bothered.The staff at he breakfast and high tea were were stubborn and were busy with their mobiles

No toiletries was present except the tooth brush.

Access to the property can be bigger road

We initially booked for Naini hill view but the balcony was small and not private. We paid extra and moved to Maharaja Lounge room that had an amazing lake view. (It was our choice to upgrade our room by paying additional fees).Overall, i would say the stay was amazing. It was cozy, clean and staff were extremely courteous.Evening High tea and outside deck Tea stand was very thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel for leisure purpose. Staying in Maharaja lounge area comes with its own benefit of having many things complimentary tea along with the view. Hence i would recommend the same.

The timing of the bar, restuarant, bon fire. Everything closes by 10:30. Guests are coming for leisure, party, enjoy and not to sleep early. Hence hotel should be considerate to extend their timing for bar and bonfire along with restuarant. Please note, it has a lot of stairs to climb up while leaving the hotel. However, for people who are healthy and young should not be a problem.

The view was fantastic. The staff were the nicest folks I've met. The service exceptional. Food was delicious and just everything about the place was fantastic.

Can't say didn't like, but definetely a lot of steps for elderly parents of mine, but that's not the hotels fault. It is up in the hills.
