The staff was great. Manoj was very helpful and reaponsive. He was very attentive and wwnt about his duties with enthusiam ans cheer.The food was also great.

The cleanliness could be better.

The property COTTAGES @ VILLAGE on Bhimtal-Naukuchiatal Road has been advertised on platforms like Booking.com with appealing pictures and descriptions to attract customers. However, my experience with this property was far from satisfactory. The rooms provided were dirty, foul-smelling, and completely different from the pictures shown online. Despite raising concerns, the property manager refused to address the issue or provide a refund for the advance payment, citing cancellation policies. This misleading representation and lack of accountability reflect poor service and unethical practices.

The best thing about the property was the food and the staff. Food was delicious, like home and quite tasty.Staff was quite good, friendly to talk, caring and also served well. Also arranged well our need of extra bedding on the sofa.A small play area with swing, badminton and cricket.

Booking.com rates it as a 4 star property which is absolutely incorrect(booking to be blamed for this). Its a 3 star at best. The images in booking looked so different from reality, images are much fancy than reality(property to be blamed for this). The location is a little remote but not bad. The rooms are a little small, bathroom was a little unclean, more like a 2 or 3 star.There was cricket bat which was broken and badminton shuttle was unplayable too unfortunately.I tried to change my booking from 2 days to 1 day. Property owner said he is ok if booking.com allows it. I raised date change request on booking.com which got denied saying property declined, not sure if booking.com lied or the owner

Breakfast, food was good. Open space and nursery were pleasant.

Prices are very high compared to facilities. Bonefire fire in room specially.

I like the location of the property.

The staff is pathetic and non answerable, specially during night. Their were power cuts and they don't have power back-up for few rooms and unfortunately that was our room. Whole night we chase them for power but even after multiple requests their was no satisfactory reply from them. No ACs in room, only fan and that too not working.

Tasty breakfast and dinner. Most of the food items were fresh and tasty.

After staying in the property, I believe the room rate is overpriced for the room size.

Cottages@village is the best off beat place to stay in Bhimtal, it’s at 5-6 minutes distance from naukuchiya taal. The place is very peaceful, serene and loaded with greenery. The boys are very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are well maintained, spacious and have all the required amenities. The place is full of small gardens and flowers which adds up to the beauty of the place.We stayed there for 2 nights 3 days and it was really a pleasent stay.Food quality is really amazing and they serve 4-5 variety of food in every meal. Highly recommended to stay if you are a nature lover and want peace. also it’s a pet friendly propertyThank you cottages@village for making our stay memorable….

Great view great service great food...

Little bit tough road for me .room was small .

I stayed in a resort with 5 family members and a pet and our stay was fun and very comfortable. The location is amazing and the food was delicious. Kudos to the staff for being very quick and humble on all our demands.

The place is secluded and very peacefulIt has been well kept with lots of greenery.

When we went all the cottages were unoccupied .No one else was there .Still at our check out time they did not Accomodate our request to give us 1hour extra for checking out and behaved very rudely .They were unprofessional and should have behaved better.Also the approach to the place is a bit tricky and far off from the main road.

Cleanliness, location and overall experience was awesome.

In my booking I had 1 large double bed however I was given a small queen size bed :(

It was quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious. The view was decent. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The bed was very uncomfortable. It's made of cheap MDF board and felt it was bent or broken. I woke up with a terrible backache.

That Television was not in room and not recharged. No toothbrush was provided.

Food was fresh, the options were limited though. Dinner was good, and plenty of options for Veg/Nonveg. Altogether OK. Room service prompt, food quality excellent and homely.

While checking out in early morning, no one was at the counter, and/or to open the main gate. a 24hr helpdesk would add a great value. We had to carry out luggage from the room (upstairs) to the car parked near main gate.. Non-availability of AC was a real discomfort, it was very hot during afternoons in June. They need to Invest there.

The only good thing about this property is their garden with beautiful flowers and their breakfast buffet.

Smelly room, the bath towels were not clean neither the bedsheet and pillow covers. The room was too small for the price we paid.
