Very comfortable. Accommodating for cyclists. Restaurant was also great. The waitress, Gaia, was very good

It is a beautiful old hotel. Lovely view over the main square. Nearby very good restaurants, cozy river. Comfortable rooms.

Breakfast was OK, nothing special. Enough to offer. The staff could not arrange a taxi for us, for over 1 hour. I could then arrange one by calling from the internet within 3 minutes. That was very strange about the staff's skills or the hotel policy(??)

Used the laundry service and they lost two of the items. When I asked nothing was done about it.

Elegant, clean and in the center of Sondrio

Room very worm but easy to fix opening windows and stopping the heat.

The style of the hotel, the size of the room and how comfy the beds are.Restaurant makes great food and service is superbe.

Not much to complain about. Perhaps the spa could be part of the room price.

Travelling by motorcycle with my brother, we ended up at Sondrio for the night. The hotel is centrally located, the hotel was immaculate and the rooms were more luxurious than we were used to. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, spoke excellent English which was helpful and found space in the courtyard for us to park our bikes. Breakfast was included in the price and was a decent buffet. All in all, an excellent overnight stay and worth considering if you are in the area.

Shower could have been hotter! Temperature was regulated and I had it to the max and wanted it a few degrees hotter ?

Beautiful building in the center, probably built in the Art Nouveau style, with a stunning staircase, beautiful artwork, excellent service, a good breakfast, and functional yet charming rooms.

The aircon was not the best but ok

The property was in a good location, rooms underwhelming, staff unhelpful and they overcharged for everything. It was like faulty towers.

The staff overcharged for numerous items - we arrived as a family to use the pool and spa facilities in this small town. The idea was to relax for a few days but they said it would be another $20 per person to use the pool For 2 hours - they sent this in an email the day before when it was too late to change the booking - and as a small town there is very little to do we were counting on relaxing with the pool and spa. They staff on the front desk were unhelpful and rude. They have no idea of customer service or looking after their guests. Small town attitude with city hotel prices.

The restaurant was lovely and the restaurant staff but as for the hotel manager, I was not impressed with her attitude and rudeness as I specifically booked a room on bookings.com and I took a screenshot of the type of room which is exactly this blue large deluxe room, only fir the hotel manager to tell me that the type of room I booked , doesn’t actually exist as it’s just a photo and not a hotel room!I was horrified to learn that I booked a room that doesn’t exist anywhere and the room that was given to us was just a basic plain room that faced a staff car park!

Breakfast was good a little disorganised at times but staff v friendly and got us what we needed . Location was great v convenient

The noise was v bad due to late bar Campari right outside. Didn’t seem to be air on in the room and couldn’t leave window open due to the music and noise in the bar next door . The bar in the hotel was closed on the Sunday which was really annoying for a 4 star and at the prices we were paying. We stayed for 3 nights and it is not an inexpensive hotel but we got no replacement water or coffee in our room after the first day.

value for money and staff was really friendly. Location is also amazing! and the views are excellent!
