    • Room was lovely, modern and clean. Staff were so helpful.

    Cons -

    • Shower was not water-tight and spilled all over the floor at first? Not sure if this was just our room or what
    • Checking in was a challenge - we didn’t know the hotel was being renovated when we booked. Arriving at night with no one to show us the rooms and the car park did not have direct access to the rooms. Very frustrating.
    • Under renovation at the time so was some confusion around check in but was resolved very easily.

Spacious room and close to lake and metro station

Most of hotel facilities were closed for renovations including reception. It was very difficult to find the location. There was no communication to the customer about the location and where to checkin. Simply send a message to checkin at hotel Beau Rivage Palace

Location, the fact that it’s part of Beau Rivage hotel nearby, running by the lake, staff, everything

    Cleanliness and quietness.

That we were not told that the building was having some renovation.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. From the lovely, comfortable room to the excellent breakfast in the morning. It is in a perfect location right across from the lake and lovely to be able to walk along the promenade. The train is easy walk and easy to understand to use. Good choice of restaurants nearby as well.

We didn't have any complaints about our stay here.

    5CheriePosted on: 10-16-2025

The room was clean and very comfortable.

We did not like that we were not informed that reception would be closed and construction was starting the day we arrived. We had to walk over to an adjacent property for check in and therefore did not have onsite services which felt a little lonely and strange.

good location, one friendly member of reception, clean room. The restaurant L'Accademia is phenomenal excellent food and drink, its just a shame the hotel is subpar.

I was extremely disappointed with our stay. For a supposedly luxury experience we got snooty service with the exception of one friendly female receptionist who checked us in. First we showed up with our bikes, this hotel is not bike friendly, the main reception building was closed so we had to go to the palace hotel, where people treated us like we were lesser just because we had bike bags and bike clothing. There was no message or warning on booking that we had to check into the other reception until we wrote them after we had been walking around for 30 minutes. Nobody helped us with our bags. We had to just leave our bikes in the open in the garage on the first level, nobody showed us where or offered a secure place. It did not feel secure. This was different than what was communicated to me when I wrote before booking. I do not recommend it is not worth the price, sorry to say. The rooms are not sound proof and you can hear every noise in the other rooms. Ochy is beautiful and the restaurant L'Accademia is phenomenal excellent food and drink.

Room and bathroom was excellentHotel itself had no facilities but had use of beau rivage to compensate. Location was in reality annex of beau rivage during renovation of hotel anglererre

    8IevaPosted on: 10-3-2025

Good location close to the lake, great service, nice breakfast.

On their website they advertise beautiful Swiss style buildings with shutters, however the executive room was located in a residential building. There were literally residents walking with their dogs in the hallway and checking their mailboxes. The room itself was dull with no charm. Not a hotel feeling, let alone 4*.

    1KimPosted on: 9-25-2025

Location was great and access to Metro and charging points in garage

As usual with Booking.com, we hated the room and in this case, we had very awkward beams, so much so that despite night lights, my husband hit his head badly during the night.

The location is perfect - so close to the lake and bars, restaurants. But also very quiet at night. I was surprised by the set up of the hotel, it’s a number of different buildings and a pool but it was no bar, lobby, restaurant to make it feel more coherently like a hotel. However , I had a room at the back in a more modern building and although the decor was quite basic, it was large, clean and peaceful. I really enjoyed having my breakfast on the terrace before it got too warm. I’m not a big breakfast person and so loved the complimentary coffee and fresh orange in the room and I walked two mins to the Pâtisserie for a croissant. Staff were lovely, the Italian restaurant was pretty decent (although where did the hotel get its name, I could see no English connection and the restaurant is Italian?). A very good choice at that end of town although from experience I would say Chateau D’Ouchy is more fun

The pool was a bit small. As mentioned, the hotel seems to lack a ‘heart’ it’s more a collection of roomsA lot of stairs and cobbled court yards means getting luggage around was difficult. I didn’t see any staff to help. I only mention it in case it’s relevant, it’s just the style of the hotel.

The location, mini bar, staff, the building

We did not do the breakfast. The hotel was just lovely - convenient parking & great eateries nearby. The staff were also wonderful - knowledgeable and helpful. When I couldn't get our coffee machine to work, they sent up two delicious Americano coffees! We highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel was an elegant property in a terrific location near many restaurants

Parking was difficult and very expensive and anyone with mobility issues would have a great deal of difficulty due to many entrance steps.

    9JeffPosted on: 9-11-2025

The location of the hotel was great. It was only a short walk to many fabulous restaurants and offered a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and the included continental breakfast was excellent.

With lots of stairways around the property, this would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues.

The location. Lakeside! near metro, near boat/ferry departures. Wondeful walking and baoting and swimming options.

Some prblem with accesss cards. Faulty once or twice. The overly warm doonas, with no option for a sheet to use on warm nights. A common problem in many hotels.

    A bit overpriced breakfast .
