The view from the room/ balcony was amazing! Very convenient location since lots of trains go though spiez. Also it was close to the path to walk lake Thun.

Food was great and the location is nice.

B’fast was great, location excellent, close to everything. Good public transportation. Great view of Lake Thun; wish it wasn’t so far up hill from the harbor.

It’s really not a tourist hotel, seminars are their primary focus, oriented towards expense account customers: 5 CHF cup of hot water in the lobby, no refrigerator, no kettle. And when you check in, you receive the most insulting email we’ve ever received from a “hospitality” business.

Good view of lake and mountains from some rooms and breakfast is excellent.

The hotel was clean and suitable for a short stay, with a nice view overlooking the lake.

There is no elevator, and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs ourselves. No assistance was offered for handling the luggage.

The property was very nice, a relatively short walk from the train station. Extremely friendly staff and great breakfast service

Wonderful Stay at Hotel Seaside SpiezHotel Seaside in Spiez offers stunning views of Lake Thun and the mountains , truly picture-perfect. The staff were warm and helpful, making the stay extra special.My room was clean, with a lake-view balcony perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was fresh and but same, and the hotel is just a short walk from the train station.This hotel is a fantastic choice. I’d gladly stay again!

Wish if they could include Air conditioning and variety in breakfast .

The view of the lake from our balcony was lovely. Unfortunately, not all rooms offer this view.

The location was inconvenient. We travel by rail or boat. This hotel was too far away from the rail station and the boat dock. The only restaurant near it was expensive. Grocery stores were also a long distance away and the terrain was very hilly for walking. From those with a car this hotel might get a better rating. We also found the design of this hotel to be inconvenient. It appeared to be a conference center with not much character. There were no elevators, no AC, and no safes in the rooms. Balconies were shared and open to anyone who wanted to stroll on them, making one wonder about personal safety.

The on line pictures were misleading to show near the lake when it was barely a peek of the lake. Had to pay for parking when it wasn’t mentioned at check in.

Had a great view.

Rooms were way too small.Location was too far away from train station and downtown area. No shuttle. Bus available but on a hourly schedule. No coffee maker or refrigerator. Don’t even ask me about the bed or mattress!

Nice breakfast. Great view from balcony. Helpful staff.Get your exercise walking up to the station and shops or down to the lake, but well worth it.

Everything was perfect. I left the terrace curtain and door open all night while I slept to feel the fresh air and watch the sunrise. The view and the experience were magical.

The check in time is so limited，we arrived early around 1pm and the reception said it’s impossible to check in now，we have to wait until 3 pm. So we store our luggage and have to come back in rush sine the last time for check in is 8pm. I can’t understand the hotel ask customers check out around 10am，and check in time is so limited！Another thing is the room design，the plug placed in a wall far from the bed and no any board to put on the electrical device，no window available even the room is too hot to sleep，only the door but if we open the door everyone can entry our room
