Mountain Plaza Hotel

The accommodation was very pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing enough space even for a longer stay. The breakfast was of good quality, with a good selection and fresh ingredients. The swimming pool was also a big plus, which was clean and well maintained. Overall a very good experience, I can recommend the hotel. The hotel provided transportation to the Jakobshorn and Parsenn cable cars

We didn’t find the restaurant’s menu sufficient. The breakfast was excellent, but the dinner options were limited.

Modern, cozy, clean and very central location - we could walk easily to the ski lift. Ski room and free shuttle between station and hotel. Staff excellent and extremely friendly - particularly in the restaurant (except for booking the table). Best fitness center I have ever seen - brand new equipment on 3 floors. Lovely wellness and huge pool. Excellent breakfast. Room large and comfortable and great view of the mountain.

We tried twice to book the meal for New Year’s Eve - before we arrived and when we checked in. Each time we were informed that it was fine. When we arrived we were told that we did not have a reservation. Finally they found a table where there were no children and no atmosphere (on the other side of the main restaurant). Our 8 year old was very disappointed. The food (apart from the breakfast) was not very good and definitely not worth the price. The breakfast room was strangely configured so every morning there was a traffic jam between the food and coffee machines. There were only 3 baskets for boiling eggs so another big queue…There were no activities for children (apart from a lovely cinema) and no effort to offer a children buffet or activities for New Year’s Eve. The atmosphere for New Year Eve was very quiet - a DJ only from 22:00 and not much atmosphere in the restaurant. I think this hotel is great but don’t expect anything special on the 31st December :-) they expect you to be on the slopes from 8:00 on the 1st January - which is perhaps no bad thing

Mattress to soft/ worn down, only one pillow. None of the staff spoke German.

wWe were at this hotel for the Silvester night & dinner and new year’s days, 31.12.2025 - 03.01.2026.The hotel is perfectly located @ Davos Platz, just minutes to walk to Jakobshorn station and to all shops & restaurants.The hotel facilities, SPA, ski room, rooms etc. are very clean and in good shape.The service personal is very friendly and very helpful.

The only negative point of our stay and our review is the following: The service personal at reception, restaurant & bar haven’t got enough introduction & learning time (= insufficant job of the hotel management!) to learn what they need to know to serve a bigger crowd of guets who arrived on 31st of December! Exceptions were the SPA and the Ski-Service-Shop

We stayed here for one night during the Spengler Cup ice hockey tournament. The staff were so incredibly warm, friendly and helpful - especially Claudia and Enrique at reception. The location in the centre of town (Davos Platz) is fantastic as is the facility for secure, underground car parking. Our Classic Double room was quiet, clean and warm although perhaps a little ‘of an era’. Shower was great and the breakfast was brilliant - larger selection that was constantly replenished.

It would have been nice it the spa had been available to us as we were told it could be used even if we’d checked out…what wasn’t obvious was the fact it only opens at 3pm…ie 4 hours after check out. Davos is an expensive place to stay and in particular around Spengler Cup…but the cost of this rather lovely but basic room for one night was quite exorbitant (almost CHF600). Although we had a lovely time I don’t think we’ll be back.

The breakfast and the facilities were good. The room temperature was great however with the door closed aeration wasn't the perfect, however fresh mountain air is always good. The massage service was also top level.

The room a little bit smaller than I expected, the view on the 4th floor not really good as you have the building in front of your balcony.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff at the reception, as well as in the restaurant/bar area. Spa/pool area : Big indoor swimming pool, exceptional hammam/sauna facilities. Worth the visit in itself if you enjoy saunas.Food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Beautiful room with balcony.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Davos. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and quality of food. The gym, sauna, and pool facilities were also excellent — clean, well-maintained, and very relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind, always going out of their way to make sure all our requests were met. Cozy room with a beautiful view. Overall, I would highly recommend! :)

- The staff were professional, friendly, had always a smile on their face.- The breakfast was huge and had a lot of variety (eggs, bread, croissant, muesli, jam, meat, fruits, cheese, coffee, tea, …)- Good location (lots of hikes and I guess in winter, lots of snow)- Comfy bed and blankets- Cleaning service of the room once a day- my BF received a little gift for his birthday (was really sweet!)- daily SPA entry

- The room was really basic for the price (small bathroom and no ventilation inside, no balcony, …)- Need to pay the parking (9.- a day outside and 18.- a day inside) - quite expensive for what it is (and since we already paid a lot for the nights…)- the SPA hours (open from 15.00 until 21:00) sadly no schedule in the morning.
