Hotel Waldhuus

Facilities are great, but what makes the hotel really special is the staff, they are awesome. It is the 2nd year we go with the family for a week and I totally recommend it. It is perfect for families.

We would appreciate more variety of food in the kids buffet. Can be repetitive for longer stays.

Location, staff and facilities were great

Location is perfect for cross country skiing. Nice spa. Super friendly housekeeping staff.

Breakfast is poor and does not offer many choices (no berries, no salmon, honey comes in aluminum containers). When breakfast ends, you get kicked out promptly and clearly - the staff starts hovering around you to make sure you leave. Everything feels a bit cheap and definitely not 4 star like.

The property is a true jewel in Davos, the staff is so attentive to every needs that is a rare quality those days. In particular I would like to make a mention to Moriz, the GM, working non stop to accommodate every needs and energy request with a smile. I will keep returning as long as I could….

spa could open earlier for people that book to relax a few days, for now it opens only at 3 and it becomes immediately busy with skiers getting back to hotel

Quiet location right next to the forest but only 10 min walk to Eau La La and the swimming pool complex..Great facilities and activities for a family with young children.Excellent breakfast buffet.Nice helpful staff.

One price fits all for a children's menu whatever the age was a bit much given how finicky young children can be. It would have been nicer if there was either a free dinner for under 10's or a notional charge for that age group.

Long breakfast hours on the weekend. Beautiful spa. Very comfortable bed.

We liked the location, short walk to the downtown area. Also the swimming pool and saunas were first class

Restaurant was extremely expensive

The rooms were spacious and well planned. All amenities were provided in the room. The hotel was well decorated and maintained. The kids playroom and the play areas were very well equipped.

We loved the food, the kids’ club, the excellent facilities, the friendly staff, the convenient location, and the beautiful views. It’s a truly family-friendly hotel where both children and adults feel comfortable and welcome. We had such a great experience that we’ll definitely come back!Keep in mind that parking costs CHF 18 per night

The only downsides were that we couldn’t regulate the room temperature, which felt uncomfortably warm for us, and that both the air temperature in the pool area and the pool water itself were colder than expected.

We were shocked because the room was not like what we saw on Booking.They should at least show the difference between room picture categories.To be honest, the pictures on the site are misleading.Overall, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. In the hotel restaurants, they were very kind and welcomed us with big smiles and care.

Spa was amazing! At least 4 different SPA rooms plus a nice swimming pool inside. My business room was okay, big and comfy, and very clean. Breakfast was nice too, but I didn't explore it so much.

The parking price was too high.

- There was no mention at all that parking was charged, when checking in. It was a complete surprise that I had to pay for the parking when checking out - very, very bad! Expensive too.- Some breakfast staff not as friendly.- No lifeguard or supervision in the pool, meaning some guests were misbehaving in the pool, causing a less relaxing environment, considering it was a “spa pool”.- One hole on the golf course was not flat. Surface could be wiped down after rain.- Underground parking garage door did not close, compromising security.
