Pros +
- Nice facilities, friendly staff, clean, nice Wellness area, fitness room well equipped.
- Having stayed here several times before, all was basically as expected - and if I didn't like it I wouldn't have gone back.N.B. Location is excellent for a ski holiday, right next to the main lift. Buffet breakfast was very good and is exactly what is wanted on a winter trip
- Location, close to parsenn bahn.
Cons -
- New shower unit could do with a little bit of a redesign - almost impossible to stop some water going out onto the bathroom floor. Needs a few more options (each night) for the evening meal - the meals were good but for some I would have preferred a different option on that day (ordered at breakfast would be fine, if necessary).
- It's not a 5 stars, all the details are not what you expect from a 5 stars in the mountains. The Spa was open to the kids, making noise in the wirphool.
- Service at the bar was regularly taking long (often no coverage available and had to chase)

Location, Restaurant
Service at the bar was regularly taking long (often no coverage available and had to chase)
Excellent location. Easy access to cable cars and railway station. Lovely spa area
On occasion the spa lounge area was too cold to rest in.
The hotel is merely metres away from the Parsenn main lift which makes it very convenient with 2 ski hire shops also by the lift. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional- very welcoming.Julia on the front desk requires a special mention, answering my many enquires (first time to Davos) and helping with reservations for lunch on the slopes.Dining staff dealt very well with increased numbers over the New Year and the food was very good -we were half board with good choices each evening.
The rooms are a little tired , we were in the extended part, but not uncomfortably so .
The staff was working hard to get around the limitations of the property and responded to our feedback.Breakfast was well-presented but wouldn't stand out at a 4-star property. For skiing the Parsenn area, the location combined with the ski room is great.
The rooms have very thin walls and ceilings. You can hear your next door and upstairs neighbours with ease. The drain in our room's shower was so clogged that we couldn't use the shower. We were offered a new room in response. The new room was lacking curtains to block the outside lights.Additionally, the soap in the spa area's bathroom was not refilled during our entire stay. This shows a lack of attention to detail and made it hard to rest at night. As a result, we checked out one day early. A request for partial refund was denied by the property management.
Comfortable clean roomExcellent breakfastWell-eqipped SPA- Area with nice staffGood location with easy access to almost everything
Great spa area.
Rooms are older and much smaller than what is shown on the webpage to an extent that I would call it lying. (They show pictures of a table with chairs, modern TV, spacious bathroom,… - none of that is true). And it is very noisy - you can hear people walking on the floor above and talking in the hallway until late at night. The breakfast provides a large variety but all of low quality. I went to many hotels in Davos over the last ten years and this was the most disappointing experience among all that I went to (and the only disappointing one so far). It feels like the hotel just aims to tick the boxes for 5 stars with the minimum amount of effort and budget. If you want a 5 star experience I’d recommend the Belvédère, otherwise any 3 star hotel in Davos should offer a better experience.
the location, the food (breakfast and dinner) was exceptional, the service and staff as well
the spa area was great but a bit small in comparison to other 5 stars hotels
Large room
Swim area was out of service, breakfast & dinner could have been better
Clean, friendly, nice spa area. Got a room upgrade, happy with the room
Breakfast mix and quality is okayish. For a 5 star is subpar.
- room size- location and view- breakfast
- Extremely bad electrical system (to start bathroom light at night was only possible if all lights in room were on)- communication (some one hung up the phone on us)- reservation was lost (needed 1 hr to find it when we arrived)- No feedback and follow-up
This hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment you step into the welcoming reception with its inviting fireplace, you feel instantly at ease. The spacious room had a lovely natural wood scent, adding to the charm. The spa area was peaceful and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes.A special shoutout to the restaurant staff—top, top, top! The service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Plus, being so close to the ski lift made everything even better! The only thing missing was an après-ski bar, so if you’re looking for lively post-ski parties, this might not be the place. But if you’re after a relaxing, cozy, and truly enjoyable mountain getaway, this hotel is perfect! ❄️?⛷️
Hotel position doesn't get better. Excellent
While the staff were friendly, i believe there wasn't enough staff or attention to the basics. In room phone and tablet didn't work, which meant walking down to reception for every request. After 7 requests to fix, never got done. Restaurant food was appalling for a fiver star. Booked a table, 10% of tables were occupied when we arrived, table for 2 had not been set, so we had to wait. Food arrived over an hour after ordering, food was dry and had clearly been resting for a long time under heat lamp. Ordered room service one evening, club sandwiches were literally filled with only chicken, some lettuce and cocktail sauce, no other classic ingredients for a club sandwich. Delivered on a beautiful silver tray, but no cutlery or napkins, couldn't call room service, because phone and tablet still didn't work. Used my mobile to call reception, no one picked up, so yet again, had to go down to reception to get cutlery and napkins. Went to the spa, but couldn't book massages at the spa, this had to be done at reception, which is where i had just come from where i had already asked if i could book a massage, reception could have told me then and there that massage booking must be done with them. Receptionist at spa spoke no English. Forgot to add, that upon arrival, we left our luggage to be delivered to our room, 45mins later, our luggage was still sitting on a trolley at reception, couldn't call them because again, room phone and tablet didn't work, so went down to get our own luggage (also, no door man to help with luggage upon arrival).Breakfast tables were not cleared and set in a timely manner, had to get my own cutlery at breakfast. Evening drinks in the bar area, had to get my own menu at the bar after waiting more than 20mins. Our rooms were not cleaned twice over 7 night stay. I could go on, but you get the point, one expects the basics to work in a 5 star hotel.
The location to ascend for skiing
Staff were unfriendly and was not value for money.
Restaurant staff was exceptional.Breakfast was tasty with omelettes and waffles.Location next to Parsennbahn was perfect.Room was big.Ski room with locker was good.
View from room was non-existent.Felt a bit like a nice 4*, not a 5*.
Excellent, rich breakfastExcellent hotel interiorGood spa area
Bathroom - small sink in a narrow space, no place to put cosmetics. No blackout curtains or blinds.
Convenient for lift. Train station close. Breakfast chaotic but the cooked choices were ok. Helpful, smiley staff. We had much sympathy for them when dealing with the privileged clientele and their often moody brood.
Small ski area, buses/trains needed to get around and Davos has no atmosphere. Obviously, expensive, but the food was bland and uninteresting. Amazingly, we would have liked an allocated table since we had half-board. Instead, it was a case of first come, first seated. I think they have a high staff turnover with many foreign workers and in the restaurant we had to assert ourselves a few times. The hotel has very recently been taken over (at least the lease was). Room too hot and nothing could be done about it. Light switch system designed by a committee. Don't take a laptop larger than 13" because it won't fit in the safe. Welcome to Switzerland.
Fantastic for kids to be allowed spa access until 5pm. Great location for Parsenn ski area. Comfortable and spacious rooms.
