Hotel Ochsen 2 by Mountain Hotels

I was staying alone in a double room. My room was in 'Ochsen 2', which means it was located in the building right next to the building with the reception and the restaurant. Overall I was happy with the stay.+ Friendly employees+ Location only a few minutes on foot from Jakobshorn gondula. Bus stop within 50 m to reach Parsenn (approx. 5 min by bus).+ Modern rooms, nice bathroom, one can open the window to let fresh air in. Clean facilities.+ Like in other hotels in Davos you can buy your ski ticket in the hotel and you get a 'Davos Premium Card' to use the public transport for free and get discounts in town (e.g. in the eau-la-la swimming pool).+ Clean place in the basement to store skiing equipment.+ Easy access with a badge to facilities.

The breakfast, as mentioned by others, is pretty simple and could be better (more variety, not very cozy place to eat, maybe some fruits, croissants). The breakfast is served in the other building, not in the Ochsen 2 building, which is very close by, though.- the place was very clean, except that there were lots of fingerprints on the toilet flush. Not a major thing, though.- the mattress was not very comfortable, but okay.- it would be nice to have a comfortable place to sit in the room.- It is rather poorly soundproofed, you can hear people very well when they're in the hall. Luckily I had decent neighbours.

Personable welcome from Jen at reception. Early check in faclitated. Close to train station and cablecar for an afternoon hike. Nice breakfast set up.

Very nice accommodation with clean rooms. The breakfast was delicious with many different options. The staff was very friendly and speaks fluent German and English.

The room was quite spacious, and not worn out. Everything was clean. The closet for clothes was very spacious as well. There was a table, so it was convenient when I had to finish up some work. Cleaning personnel came daily to clean up, make up the bed, and change towels if necessary. Also, it's a rather good soundproofing. You could hear some trains passing, but it was still hushed. Breakfast was always fresh, and the personnel were accommodating and kind.

The wi-fi someties had a very bad signal or even disappeared. But most of the time, it was ok. The breakfast menu had very few vegetable options (every morning cucumber and paprika), the same every day as I was staying for some time, it got pretty boring.

I liked the staff services in general very friendly.

The facilities in general are outdated. They would need to make a bit more modern. There were no descent chairs and pulg-in to charge your computer close to the desk and work. Also, the bathrooms were not ideal for a relax moment. Showers were not fitting.

Breakfast was a let down. Very little choice and a bit messy. Parking is also a struggle but, they have agreements with a local parking 5 minutes from the hotel so... Not that bad.

The restaurant waitress was very rude despite the fact that some of our Covid tests did not detect on their phones, (which has nothing to do with the technicality) she was rude even to those that their tests were accepted.
