About
The family-run Hotel Parsenn is located in the heart of Davos, across the street from the Parsennbahn Cable Car and 984 feet from the train station. All rooms are individually furnished in a rustic style. You can choose between pine wood rooms, historically furnished rooms and rooms with balconies and mountain views. All rooms are nonsmoking. Swiss cuisine and selected wines are served in the Parsenn Stübli restaurant. Free WiFi access is available in all areas of the property, and guests also have free access to the small business center with a computer and a printer. The Parsennbahn takes you to the ski area in just 4 minutes. The local sports shop, the Davos snow sport school, and the bus stop are all just a short stroll from the hotel.

Pros +
- the hotel is authentic Swiss in every way, which touched me, it made me feel connected -- incredibly comfortable and highly recommended
- Great location, wonderful service. Could not have been more wonderful or central to skiing.
- The hotel is an older, family-owned (and family-loved) inn. It maintains some of the quaint aspects of being a beautiful classic building, with modern touches.
Cons -
- the table next to the wait staff station, near the entrance to the restaurant, is not a good spot. And that's it: one table. Everything is pretty darn perfect. I will be back.
- Terrible WiFi, could not get it to work. Difficult for out of country guests.
- The staff didn't seem fully trained. Two times a housekeeper entered our room without announcing themselves (no "housekeeping" announcement). The first time I was dressed and next to the door, so I was more confused than anything. But the second, a few days later we were in bed (it was 9am) and my partner had to yell we were inside after they were already entering. It was pretty unsettling. Also the receptionists were friendly but also not fully trained. For example, we asked for recommendations for a local hike and were suggested to go to an area (Pischa) which was not yet open. It looked like the receptionist was not familiar with the local area, as he also had trouble showing us the location on the map. Also the night we arrived we were never informed there was a charge for parking. It's perfectly reasonable to charge for parking, and I see it's clearly written on booking.com, but we didn't know that and the receptionist directly told us to park our car behind the hotel without mentioning any charge. Only at checkout did we discover there was an extra cost.

Right opposite the Parsenn funicular up to the slopes. Good quality breakfast with decent opening hours. Bar (Parsenn Gada) was nice and had a drink there several nights.

Great service from friendly personnel. Excellent location with the Parsennbahn just cross the street. Good breakfast with freshly made omelett and scrambled eggs.
Ready made drinks in the bar was the only thing that was a bit negative.
Nice hotel with a comfortable room. I really liked the decoration and the amenities in the bathroom. The shower gel and body lotion had a wonderful smell. The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent. It is on the main street so close to everything , but a public transport ticket was also provided.
Great location, right across from the Parsenn lift. Comfortable beds, great breakfast.
One of our rooms was right above the main street - and there was no English breakfast tea! (But a great Sirroco black chai tea).
Very nice hotel in DavosStaff was very friendly, the place and rooms were very nicely decorated and it is very well located as well, next to one of the train stations
Fabulous location, super friendly and very comfortable with lovely breakfast and amazing apres ski bar, live singer was awesome. We were a group of 6 skiers and had a cracking long weekend…
Best location in Davos Dorf right across the road from Parsennbahn. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Restaurant meal was great quality and the bar is as good as apres ski gets here. Ski boot room with secure lockers and heated boot racks.
The only thing missing is a spa room with sauna/hot tub.
Next to Parsenn funicular Very good breakfast
Lights in the room are very dim
It’s situated just in front of the Parsenn lift, very convenient for skiers. Rooms are very clean, have a very good restaurant.
My room was just above the bar where the apres-ski happened, so you could hear the music. However it only lasted until 8pm
Klein aber Fine
Ski Keller a bit troublesome to get to
Excellent room with equipped kitchenette. Clear instructions for access and prompt communication with host. Late check out was kindly allowed and much appreciated.
A cosy mountain hotel with good position in the city centre, nice staff with good English, very clean rooms.
Variety of breakfast
Great location and friendly staff
Second lot of coffee in our room for the second night without having to pay for it.
The hotel is clean and bright, and the staffs are very friendly. The breakfast also has good quality, you can ask for customized omelette or sunny egg if you want.
Fabulous Hotel, beautiful room with lovely bedding and furnishings. We ate in the restaurant and it was fabulous food.
Definitely my favourite stay in Davos so far. The staff were lovely, the room comfortable, tasteful and well equipped. Excellent value for money. The included breakfast was great including eggs cooked to order and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel also has a nice bar/pub downstairs
All good
Everything was great! The bedroom, the location, the sympathy. The breakfast was very good. I had dinner at their restaurant and the food was very good and not very expensive. The inside of the hotel is very beautiful Everything was great. All the staff was amazing, very helpful. I do recommend.
