Hotel Central Luzern

The location was great, a 2 minute walk from the train station. The staff were very helpful. Close to shops and restaurants. The room was great. Would definetly recommend and stay here again.

Hotel Central Luzern was exceptional. It was a 5-min walk to the nearby station, from which I went to Grindelwald and Engelberg. The city of Lucern is beautiful as well.Oh and the hotel lady was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They handed me a guide for exploring the city and the different activities one can do, I haven’t seen that in any other hotel.

The shower room was a bit small. Shower head could be overhead as well.

It's very well located - a block away from the central train station by foot, with lots of great restaurants, bars and shops close by, as well as primary sites such as the old wooden bridge under 5 minutes walk. The single room had a single bed but enough space in the room. The breakfast buffet was amazing in terms of quality and variety of local Swiss produce. It was also nice to have the large communal dining area available 24/7 to help yourself to coffee, teas and water.

Whilst the single room itself was a decent size, the bathroom was seriously tiny. The fact that the hotel is connected to a restaurant also meant that there was a heavy food smell in the corridors. Finally, the rooms are so close together and the walls not super thick, so you could hear every movement in the corridors.

Standard breakfast but we were satisfied. Location ideal for sightseeing by walking. Railwaystarion closeby.

Price/quality. To expensive for what you are receiving.

Single room pleasantly sized, nice clean bathroom. Breakfast with lots of choice (but not cooked), coffee and tea available all day long. Breakfast room with one large family table which is nice to meet new people but there are also smaller tables for couples. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The bed, especially the pillow, was not as comfortable as I'm used to but for two nights it was ok.

Perfectly central, in the city centre, across the road from the train station and walking distance to all of the beautiful sites that are associated with Luzern

The hotel staff are wonderful. They were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and very pleasant and friendly. There was a very nice breakfast provided. The location to the train station and bus stops couldn't have been better.

The hotel is very, very clean but we did have brown water running in the shower. I wouldn't keep that from staying there though. It certainly wasn't their fault.

Location, 24-hours available coffee machine and snacks in the dining roon. The hotel's staff is simply perfect

There is no room for storing the luggage. Just an open wardrobe on the floor 1, which is apparently not good to store two-three suitcases without possibility to lock the wardrobe

Clean, friendly staff, healthy choices for breakfast

Very crowded breakfast area. Not enough space for the targeted capacity. Glass bathroom door in the room, Bathroom has no ventilation.

The hotel is just a two minute walk from the train station, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

If I were to point out one drawback, it would be the slanted ceiling in the attic room. Aside from that, the hotel offers excellent value for money.

Reception is the best, They nice and kind for me have a good recommendation for my planning trip in Lucern.

Breakfast not variety for traveler around the word.

Room was small for a familly, and the beds for the kids werent very comfortable

Excellent location. My partner and I also liked the concept where there is a common pantry (at the "S" floor) - it meant having a more organized area for coffee or snacks, rather than having it in the room.

Internet connection was not as fast as other hotels
