Hotel Royal Luzern

The location was perfect and the view was stunning! Also, the Staff were tremendously kind and helpful!

No air conditioning and the showers were super tiny

The personal were good and frlendly. Room was clean.

Wifi was too bad. Hotel is not directly near the side of lake. Also, my room was on first floor and buildings front nearly block the view so try to get upper floors.

The views were great and staff, especially mr Sangin Sahn from reception were very good.

We received a warm welcome and a complimentary beer upon arrival. The room was small but had three beds (which we needed) and had a great view of the lake. We purchased the buffet breakfast and it was OK. The one challenge was parking. We dropped our baggage and had to park downtown and walk back up the hill. That was really the only downside.

The hotel is very nice with very confortable lobby and a wonderful breakfast. Staff very helpful.

The standard room we received was very small, with a column in the middle of the facade and a small window with no view. Tea maker in a table with no socket to plug in. The location is on a hill making it difficult to access with suitcases.

nothing eveverything was perfect

The room and hotel itself were spotless. Our lake view was incredible to wake up to! Great coffee facilities in the room too. The hotel is a short walk from the main part of Lucerne, but note it’s up a steep hill, so more difficult if you have heavy cases or mobility issues. The staff could not have been nicer.

Our room was quite noisy. Next door liked to stay up late and were very loud and the room isn’t particularly sound proof, but that’s the only downside I can list

Do not book if you do not have car to reach hotel. OLD hotel and Carpet, No smart TV.

The lobby was very nice and the view from my room was spectacular.

I found a big ball of hair in one of my towels, and there was dry blood in my sheets.

The room features fairy tale view of Lake Lucern. The historical hotel is in great condition, and staff is very friendly.

There are some stairs / hill that you would have to navigate. Physically strained / older folks may find more difficulty climbing the hill with luggage. The alternative would be to get a cab / Uber.

Walk from rail station with a luggage is too difficult because of the stairs and slopeUber is not bad

The breakfast - They could not boil the eggs in 20 min in the morning. I had to leave w/o breakfast.

The staff were amazing! The views are breathtaking. Felipe made our stay so special with such thoughtful gestures.

Too hot! No air conditioner, just one small fan. Also my room (single) didnt have mini fridge! No iron, but you can grab steamer from reception with deposit.

The property was real nice , well located and easy access by foot, bus and car. The view there is amazing and overall the property was clean and very beautiful. The stay at the hotel also gives you free bus transportation and also some discount for boat and rail to mountain! The stuff members were very nice , friendly and open to give suggestion for visitors about nice places to visit. The Asian breakfast guy was very friendly, the manager (his name was maybe Bangin ) was fantastic and the Swiss desk guy with the moustache also amazing !They offered always good service ! We are definitely going back !

The hotel is situated just next to mandarin oriental hotel , has a beautiful mini terrace , each room with Lake view has a small balcony , as hotel is situated high enough you can see the city very well and most importantly the lake. The breakfast was really nice and they are so dog friendly, my little chihuahua loved walking around the property. I would like to say a separate thank you to the hotel manager Bangin Salih - an incredible professional and kindest man, he really made my birthday at the hotel special (discounts , champagne and free parking space), he speaks all the languages of this world and is super hard working - thank you so much Bangin. Defo recommend the hotel!
