Lakeside view room, great view indeed. Staff was very nice and speak English very well.

Special request not taken care off. Room not cleaned.

Super nice and helpful personnel! Upon check in got room upgrade, upon checkout - valuable advice on further traveling! Room and the whole hotel is super clean and fresh, while with long history.

Breakfast was ok, but could be a bit richer.

The shower was a little dirty and its light goes to the bedroom during the night so that disturbs a little the rest of my partner

Very cozy, large room and bathroom, super clean and the staff was great. It was excellent the promotion of late checkout for the Luzern Marathon participants! Location is also very good!

The entrance is not accessible, with a flight of stairs right at the front…Difficult if you have a baby stroller, for example.

1. We paid for the suite room (more expensive) and we got a room much worse than the normal room.2. Staff were not cooperating when we were shocked of the level of the suite room and they did not show us the normal room; which is much better and newer than the suite room which we reserved based on the pictures of the in booking.com.3. Breakfast poor and we had to pay more if we asked for scramble eggs and Jasmin tea .. etc4. Room cleaning service is less than expected.

new renovated, but still full of smell of new painting. quite expensive, but could not feel it meet the expectation of 4 stars hotel. stairs from entrance to reception is not quite friendlly for carrying heavy luggages. more breakfast variety should be offered.p

Expensive but Budget hotel facilities. Very bad quality pillows n mattress. Low quality breakfast. Have to pay Fr5 for an omelette. Bathtub been modified so that you can’t used. Many tour groups staying in this hotel.

Room was great with Terrific space for closet and bathroom toiletries. Very quiet. The breakfast was convenient and good start of the day! Very accessible to lake and downtown by bus with complimentary bus pass

It is unnecessary expensive it is a 3 star hotel. No one gives any information they want to charge extra. Gave us a very small room compared to what we booked. When asked said it is no guarantee to get the same size room. Not ideal for families due to very tight rooms and only 2 elevators.

Overall, we had a very good stay at the Grand Hotel Europe. The location is convenient – not directly in the busy tourist center, but only about a 10-minute walk away, and with very easy access to the lake just across the road. Nearby there is a nice tennis court and a small restaurant with excellent food and a welcoming hostess. The park in the area also makes it a pleasant place for walks.The hotel offers lovely views, and the staff deserve special praise – they are friendly, helpful, and attentive, always ready to assist.

At the same time, the property itself feels outdated. The rooms, bathrooms, and corridors are in need of renovation, as both the style and the condition show their age. Another issue was the strong smell of food, especially bacon, spreading through the corridors in the morning during breakfast preparations. For a four-star hotel, it would be important to ensure a fresher atmosphere.Finally, clearer signage for arriving guests would be helpful. When coming by car, it is not obvious where to drive up and unload luggage. A visible sign, a small canopy, or a designated unloading point with staff assistance would improve the arrival experience.In summary, the hotel has many positives – great location, wonderful staff, and beautiful surroundings – but would truly benefit from refurbishment and a few improvements to match its four-star status and pricing.

We had lovely stay at Grand Hotel Europe. Room was amazing. Great location and connection to the city centre. People working at the hotel were really nice and helpful.
