Boutique Hotel Balm

EVERYTHING!!! We travelled from Paris to Geneva to La Sanne to Berne to Interlaken to Luzern to Zurich and this was the best accommodation we had through our whole trip. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. Will definitely go there again.

No cooling but that wasn't a big issue as the weather was pleasant and we kept our windows open.

Excellent location, friendly staff and good food.

The lack of an elevator made it difficult to carry our luggage to our 3rd floor room.

Hotel was generaly clean and cosy and hotel staff was friendly. We had good time with two kids and did not feel any discomfort, as we were 4 persons in the room.

We could not lock the bathroom door.

Free parking, nice room, friendly staff especially Hüseyin at the reception, good restaurant.

Poor breakfast, quite basic.The dinner was exceptional but expensive.We were charged 7chf for one carafe of tap water.

The room was very spacious and clean. Check in was easy with friendly staff. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful, with many delicious options.

The hotel is a bit outside of Lucerne, not in the most picturesque neighborhood, but the hotel does offer free public transportation cards into the city. The road was a bit noisy and there was a soccer practice field that was a bit disruptive.

Best room of our two week vacation. It was very comfortable. We especially liked the extra room we got with the two lounge chairs and table.Loved the breakfast.

It wasn’t in the city center so we had to take the bus 20 minutes.

Excellent breakfast. Bus to city center stops conveniently right in front of hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Dinner meal overpriced, not as good as other places we ate at in Lucerne.

Close to Luzern, great location, amazing views and vey good breakfast. Staff is welcoming and oveall cozy atmosphere.

Shades aren't the best, but we woke up to this view, so it wasn't that bad. No lift.Didn't receive the visitor card ahead of arrival, so I couldn't use it to get a discount at the transport museum.

The half board meal at the restaurant was superb! Room/bed was comfortable and clean. Out of the main town but easy to access by the (free) bus.

No AC so it got a bit warm despite the provided fans.

The location was great, reachable with a 20 min bus ride from Luzern. The restaurant is spacious and has a nice mountain view. Breakfast was okay,

Even though the room was spacious, it was nothing close to as shown in the photos. Most of the rooms have view to the car park, definitly not worth the money they charge. When I approached the staff at reception, she mentioned there were only 4 rooms having mountain view and she could not offer me one. There was no supply of tea/coffee and kettle in the room which is provided even by budget hotels now a days.

Clean specious room , around 10m by bus from the center.Breakfast was good and staff were nice.Pool was perfect escape from the summer hit.

It was location at bus stop. Free local bus to 10 min bus ride to centre of Lucerne. Breakfast was nice but understaffed. Views from hotel lovely

Restaurant was closed for holidays. Prices for water and other drinks were too expensive. I expected pool to be heated. It was cold. Would have liked more staff. And there was no lift so staff had to help with heavy luggage.
