    Very small rooms

The location was amazing! We could walk to most of the tourist sites and loved being right on the water.

The room was small and the shower was TINY! But it was all clean and worked well for our short stay.

    9CarolPosted on: 1-22-2026

Location was excellent. Could see Old Bridge from my bed! Breakfast was delicious. Room was large

The bathroom was quite small…ok for me but be prepared. Slow, small elevator, but again, expected and typical. Our family of 7 took a bit of time getting to room with all our suitcases. Two of our rooms looked to the “city view” which was an apartment building across the narrow street.

Everyone was very nice. Room was clean with beautiful views. Enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant and surrounding restaurants. Central location.

The control for the heat was up so high that I couldn't reach it so I had to get someone else to come to my room to adjust the temperature.

Staff great but room type, not so good.

Very hot and opening window, the neighbors can see everything inside. Exposing all my glory

    Location, cleanliness of rooms

No AC, had to leave doors open but the people at the restaurants were out late and talking loudly so it was noisy to try to sleep. Breakfast wasn’t the best

    9KellyPosted on: 1-19-2026

Can’t beat the location! Beautiful balconies and views! Bed was comfy and too was clean. Fans are in every room. We were there in July and were ok without AC.

Located right on the Reuss River with a view of the Chapel Bridge, the hotel was perfectly situated for a stroll in old town or along the river front. The restaurant was first class with both inside and outside seating along the river.

Our stay was during a hot spell (temperatures in the 90s) in June and the room did not have air conditioning. So it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping.

    9WendyPosted on: 1-7-2026

Location was fantastic right next to the old bridge and a very easy walk from the train station

Bathroom was very small. It was hard to negotiate having two people in the bathroom at one time.

    8RaulPosted on: 1-4-2026

    The location is perfect

The elevator, it was too small and there is no stairs to lower level

    9CynthiaPosted on: 12-31-2025

The location is perfect-right on the water by the bridge, easy walking to everything. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.

    8KimberlyPosted on: 12-29-2025

Close to old town and train station

Beds were hard and shower was super small

    9CarolPosted on: 12-28-2025

When you look out your window in the morning and see the old, wooden Chapel Bridge and the Tower, it can’t be beat. The photo was taken from my window. The room was large, the breakfast was incredible and the location was outstanding to both the railroad station and all the highlights of the city. And arriving before check in and leaving after check out, we felt comfortable leaving out bags at the reception area. The staff was welcoming, informative and knowledgeable.

My daughter had a “city view” which was a wall and windows of an apartment across the alley, The floor above me was noisy until the occupants went to sleep. Be prepared for a very small bathroom, though well fitted out. And be prepared for a typically small elevator. We were in the second floor so took the stairs except for when we had to move our luggage.

Location; view; staff helpful and pleasant; good restaurant; good value with seasonal discount for room.

    Great location Friendly staffComfortable room

Parking is problematic but that’s not unique to this hotel

    9FoteiniPosted on: 12-23-2025

The location of the hotel is really central. The credit that the hotel offered us, we used for breakfast at the restaurant and we really loved it.

Nothing to complain for the 2 nights that we stayed!

    5AmindaPosted on: 12-16-2025

    lovely location, nice breakfast

the 1st room we were given was barely acceptable as a room for 2-low ceilings to bump head on, small bed and only nightstand on one side, small windows. we asked to upgrade and the 2nd night was a lovely room
