Gasthaus Badhof - Golfhotel

The room was so big and the bathroom was clean and good . The tv had good movies . The garage was good and the golf area was GIANT. The breakfast was good . In the breakfast they made omelettes and other foods.

We didn’t like that it didn’t have lunch or dinner. we needed to go to the city to eat. We think they should build a restaurant.

Room was spacious with open bathroom

This place is everything except a hotel. There is no service after 5 PM, and only one staff member is responsible for the restaurant, reception, and housekeeping all day. The staff were extremely rude. During check-out, the receptionist tried to charge us for a late check-out (at 13:30), and when we refused, she made an inappropriate comment implying that “the amount is nothing for you,(suggesting we are rich )which was completely unprofessional and offensive.We were a family with a small child, and we specifically chose a hotel so that if we needed anything during the night, someone would be available — especially since we were in a foreign country. However, no one was available after 5 PM, and this important detail was never mentioned or made clear before booking. That lack of transparency, combined with the rude attitude, made the experience even worse.Also, basic services that are normally included everywhere else are considered “extra” here. At one point, the staff even told us to “be thankful we weren’t charged for cleaning the room because it’s messy ,” which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Even asking for something as simple as water felt difficult and unwelcome.

We stayed at this lovely hotel near Lucerne, Switzerland, and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were comfortable and offered stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains — truly breathtaking.Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. We also had dinner at the hotel on two nights, and the food was just as impressive — delicious and beautifully prepared.Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay in a beautiful setting. We'd happily return.

The views are incredible

I was charged for the snack and a bottle of drink. There was no sign listing the prices and we thought it was complementary.

•The shower was open, which was uncomfortable.•The signs were only in German, so I accidentally walked into areas that were restricted for golf players.•Breakfast options were limited and not very diverse.

Amazing hotel . Rooms had great views . Breakfast was expectional . Staff in the check in desk were fantastic. They were very friendly and gave my family umbrella to keep it for day as it was raining outside . I highly recommend thjs hotel.

beautiful location and wonderful view

was surprised to discover there was no staff available (zero) evening/night on day of our check-in nor any facilities working .. which upon check-in i was informed that they had notified me about through email (which i missed) stating there will be a ‘staff event’ that day .. despite that i was charged full amount with an additional charge of around 100 CHF for my children! although i had booked 2 rooms (one superior and another deluxe)

No fans in the bathroom…water vapor stayed everywhere inside the bathroom area…toilet not separate from shower area.

The breakfast was below average. And also the room service and reception not availble 24 hour. Only till 8 so if you need anything after that no help.

My partner and I had the best stay here! The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The view from our balcony was stunning, which overlooked Mt Pilatus and Lake Luzern. Our room was also stunning, clean and very spacious. Will definitely let all our family know to stay here when they come to Switzerland.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast was nice. Very accommodating to our 8 month old baby.

The room was stuffy. I think they need to look into air circulation as the room would get very warm. We couldn’t have the balcony door open as the smell of wood fire and people smoking downstairs would drift into our room where the baby was sleeping.
