Campanile Dole

The staff was more than helpful. Because of a food allergy, I brought some take-out food from a grocery store to the hotel. The hotel used their own microwave to heat the food for me. They also gave me a tray, fork and knife to take back to my room.

Well located surrounded by its own garden in an industrial area just off the main road

A huge mobile phone mast right next to the entrance, a very noisy heat pump at the back, squeaky bed springs and outdated bathroom fittings

Kettle with tea and coffee in the room. Room was clean and spacious.

Everything was good for our one night stay.

Good location for us

Restaurant was not available which was disappointing as we had booked the hotel because it had a restaurant. Breakfast was relatively expensive and disappointing

Very friendly staff. The preparation and flavouring of the cold buffet was exceptional, well done. Beer on tap and a comfy bed. Good parking.

We had a late transfer here as the room we had booked elsewhere was over run by ants. Thank you for accommodating us on such late notice.

The room was shabby, the kettle was broken, nothing looked clean... We travelled with our cocker spaniel and I think we were given the worst room in the place, it was run down and the location left a lot to be desired....

Comfortable rooms. Everything worked ok - good bed, air conditioning efficient, shower and toilet ok.

Clean rooms

Location was a long way from town and restaurants, and the hotel restaurant was closed

Breakfast was good and they kindly started it early for a Sunday morning to help us. Staff were helpful both on the phone before we arrived and at breakfast.

The room had quite a musty smell (maybe because the windows were closed to allow the air conditioning to work better), it just felt a bit old.

Location was conveniently near the main motorway, but it was on an industrial estate

We were in room 007 and it reeked of cigarette smoke. It did not improve on ventilating by opening doors and windows. It was motel style so all the rooms opened to the exterior. It did not feel as secure as a hotel would, where the rooms open into a central corridor with a manned reception. The reception was in a separate building to the rooms. We could hear car does slamming and conversations from the car park.

Room was OK, clean and adequately equipped. Breakfast was good. Location not pretty, but convenient for access as on edge of Dole.
