Cons -
- Room could really use an update. Bed was comfortable, but very low and only one nightstand. Countertop bowl sink was adequate for hand washing but too small for face washing.
- Unfortunately we arrived on the Saturday after traveling most of the day, ask for a meal in the restaurant yes no problem and but found the menu a bit over and about what we wanted to pay for a one night travel stay over, only the cost was 3 course for set cost of 128 euros each, and mainly a fish and chicken… we decided it was not for us.Secondly the roomed we stay in was about the bar became noisy in the later part of the evening whilst we were a sleeping. Last, was we had a small dog and in the middle of the night we found our self locked in by the hotel and could not get out, very distress for my wife about the dog. It being able let the dog out, to find later 30 mins later there was an external fire escape on the the back of an top floor patio balcony at the back of the building we used in the end.If only the said they would be locking the glass access door. That would be great, I even in the event of a dog going to the toils or a fire in the building.. We would return, in the one of the other rooms all together in a block away from the restaurant, and will always in future check out the menu, on the day of stay over. This may seem like a lot to say but I think the owner we be better informed with my review.

The bed and the shower! The bed and the pillows were super comfortable. We slept well. The pool was also very nice, we enjoyed it in the morning before we checked out.
The room smelled a bit damp, and there is no air-conditioning in the room (while it was fresh enough at night, it became warmer closer to the morning).
The restaurant is amazing. They welcome pets.
It’s a bit out of town but an easy 5 min drive to the centre which is quaint and beautiful.
Lack of information on your website.
Not informed on booking.com that their restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, no other suitable alternatives in Dole on Wednesdays!!
Not very much.
Very disappointing. Dinner was a very expensive fixed menu with no possible alternative. Therefore there were items that I was unable to eat for health reasons. The wine waiter was unhelpful and positively rude. Breakfast was the same, fixed with no alternative. The boiled egg was massively undercooked and when this was pointed out to the waitress she said that is the local style and how they do it. She rudely told us that it was healthy for us even after she was told that I couldn’t eat undercooked food under doctor’s orders. At checkout the receptionist was argumentative, insisting that on her computer we had two bookings for the same night. We paid for the one that we had confirmation for, a very unenjoyable expensive dinner for two and a poor breakfast.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, confy bed, beautiful garden
No coffee facilities in the room. They are on the ground floor which means if you want to have a coffee in bed you have to dress up to go downstairs.
Clean, well appointed rooms, quiet and comfortable beds. Nice decorations too.
Not functioning tv, unresponsive hotel staff at several attempt to contact over the phone and booking app.
Lovely grounds, pool, easy parking, quiet location. Good decor, fantastic restaurant.
Leaving
The hotel is quirky, interesting, clean and comfortable. They were very happy to have our little dog and we were in a big room with huge comfortable bed. We had easy access to the garden making our stay perfect.
The location is out of the centre and on a road that is not very attractive. It didn’t mater however as the hotel is lovely.
Excellent michelin restaurant with attentive staff. Breakfast excellent
We had a lovely room and the hotel’s lounge, bar and dining area were all excellent. We had the tasting menu dinner, which was outstanding, if a little expensive!
Beautiful little French hotel. Room was exceptional quality (we upgraded to the Superior Room on arrival) as was the hotel generally. Good traditional french breakfast, served (not self service).
Not something we didn't like but we couldn't get a table for dinner. As we were a very late booking and it was the French holidays this was not unexpected, but just be aware that the nearest restaurants are in Dole centre.
Very friendly staff lovely location beutiful historic building
No door on bathroom unable to order food at restaurant as a guest
Restaurant was very good. Great food, excellent Jura wine list and friendly helpful staff.Bed was very large and comfortable and shower room was newly re-fitted in a modern style and worked very well.
Though we had the largest room it was very dark with only one small window concealed by a wall length curtain and slightly inadequate lighting.
Friendly and efficient welcome. Peaceful garden and terrace behind the hotel and excellent dinner.
The evening meal was superb
The shower could be improved. Breakfast was ordinary
