    • Nice and quiet area
    • The beds are comfortable and the location is great. The banana pancakes on the breakfast menu are very nice ☺️
    • There were about 10 different choices for breakfast.Air conditioner kept the room cool at night. The building was well maintained. It was quiet at night for sleeping.About 10 minutes walk to Night Market.Refill you bottle with purified water for the day.Friendly helpful staff.Good room rates.Would stay again.

    Cons -

    • Too loud. Booked one room, had another on the ground floor. Couldn’t sleep - all water noise went through.
    • There is a musty odor in the two rooms I stayed in, I know this is common in humid climates. Suggestion to use dehumidifiers or strong AC to control humidity and regularly clean surfaces with vinegar and use odor absorbers. This can be combatted. Hopefully the property takes this into account.☺️
    • The bathroom is too outdated, there is no separation at all between the shower and the toilet, actually, the shower is above the toilet and when you shower you make a mess. The A/C didn’t work so well

Small hotel hidden in the labyrinth of pedestrian passages near the water channel - well marked so not hard to find. Quiet place, nice and helpful owner, and in spite of low price a bit of "luxury feeling" - floors and furniture made of solid thick polished wood, wood also on the cellar, all very clean. Very close, few minutes walk, to old quarter of Luang Prabang. Breakfast rather standard. A/C and WiFi OK, no problems. They offer excursions and other services (laundry) at reasonable prices. Small food shop almost in front of hotel.

I got the three bed room for myself. The others were too small. It's worth the extra expense to get more space. The balcony deck is also nice. I'm a vegan, so for breakfast they brought me a little fruit. They also arranged my transpo to the train station and my onward train ticket.

The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet area of Luang Prabang. The room was very spacious, clean and included a nice private bathroom. We liked the breakfast and had some nice conversations with hotel's stuff. In general very enjoyable stay.

Hotel was well located close to the main attractions. Quiet except when you had very loud backpackers in the street.Breakfast is ok.

The room was clean but very humid because of the bathroom with a bad smell. The receptionist is nice but leaves at 5pm and after that nobody can reply to your questions. It's difficult to get advice on what to do except for the main tours they promote.

The accommodation is beautifully located in a quiet, green part of Luang Prabang. The breakfast was delicious, and we could choose from a menu with different options.A special mention goes to the friendly staff member, Mr. Thong, who helped us a lot with organizing things during our stay. He does a great job!

    7ColinPosted on: 2-5-2025

Hotel is a little "worn" and dusty but location is very good. Thong, on reception but really a "jack of all trades", was extremely helpful and kind throughout our 25 day stay. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Wet room containing shower, sink and WC was ok but sink broke down during our stay (Thong repaired it).

Could have been cleaner but building very open so easily built up dust from air pollution. Very noisy at night - local parties playing loud music until around 11.30pm but sometimes later; monks beating drums at 3am, 4am or 5am (some mornings all 3 times).

    Location was decent.

The hotel is very dated and in need of serious restoration. I’m pretty sure there are termites I the hotel as bits of wood powder would fall from the ceiling onto the floor every now and then. We were given a different room upon checkin and then asked to move on our second day which was inconvenient. Our actual room was very small (we could barely fit our suitcases in) so it was hard to navigate. The shower was located (for some reason( right next to the toilet even though there was ample space for it to be elsewhere as the bathroom was quite big, so showering was inconvenient and the toilet seat was really old, discoloured and should have been replaced a long time ago. For the price we paid we really expected more and were very disappointed.

Location is great. Not only the fact that is in the city center, but house is in a quiet, lovely street only for walk (and scooters), there are flowers, palm trees and view to the mountains. Stuff was very nice, helpfull and kind, ready to assist with different request almost at any time. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfest is testy (not very diverse thought) with fresh fruits every morning.

Toilet seat was disgusting but this is minor problem. The Real problem is that dinning table for breakfest (actually the only table in a house) are outside. So in the morning while we were eating, other guest were smoking cigar (always and always!). The other thing is some weird electric instalation. For example: to turn on AC, you need to turn on litght, so AC is not working during the night, nor toilet lights without main room lights

The staff were lovely here and very helpful. Our water stopped working so the lady quickly helped us change our room and provided our laundry for free in return. The location was good and in the centre- easy to get around.

The beds were quite hard. Breakfast was okay in the morning, took a VERY long time for small things but overall was decent for the cheap price per night.

    8ClaudiaPosted on: 1-4-2025

We enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice and it was very quiet. 10 minutes walk to the center of town and close to some nice bars and restaurants.

There wasn't really anything negative, we had a good time.

    8GeorgePosted on: 12-23-2024

The property was very comfortable and staff very friendly. Nice breakfast. Laundry available. A good walkable location to all city sites.

The bathroom was a bit dated. As with most Luang Prabang hotels we were charged in USD but paid in KIP at the hotels unfavourable rate. This makes absolutely no sense to me but should be noted as final payment ends up being when paying in KIP is slightly more than advertised in USD. Current hotel rate 1 USD - 23000 KIP as of 19.12.24

Very nice staff, breakfast is fresh (try the banana pancake!!) beds are very big and it’s in a great location!!

The bathroom can be renovated but nothing bad.

Lovely Guest House down a quiet lane but near everything. Spacious all-wood rooms, good bed, hard pillows as everywhere. Good breakfast included at a big table so easy to meet other travelers. Water, tea and coffee available at all times. Friendly and helpful staff.

Loved the location, tucked down a little alleyway, close to town but quiet. Breakfast each morning was good. Excellent value. Family room upstairs was great with a shared balcony with a view of the Mekong and big chairs to watch the sunset.

When we first arrived there seemed to be confusion about our booking. We were given a room around the back on the ground floor. It was not very clean and smelled musty. The next day they moved us upstairs to a much better room. As others have mentioned they charge more than other places in town for train bookings.
