Very comfortable bed and great breakfast. Super friendly staff. The bicycles were a nice touch.

The stay was priced way too high for what it was, over $60 USD

I loved the location, the super friendly and helpful staff and the free bikes!! Staying at mahasok made my trip to Luang Prabang even more amazing ?

The rooms facing the road are quite noisy! And the shower could be stronger and more stable, but it was good!

A bit small rooms

Breakfast (a la carte noodles or rice or eggs plus fruit) was the best we had in Laos. Pool was clean. Shoes off inside kept things clean.

Room and bathroom were much more dated than in the photos. Air conditioning was weak. Clean enough for the price but not our favorite spot.

Greta location within a 10-15 walk from city center and night market. 24 hour pool, free bikes and umbrellas, awesome breakfast and super helpful staff.

The good thing about the hotel is the pool. But you can use just the pool for 50k, it's safer than staying there overnight.

I'm very sad to give this review, but I can't give a good review to a hotel that condones men who beat women. Me and my family (with a kid and a baby!!) were sleeping in our room and at 3am we were woken by a loud bang and then the sounds of a fight between a man and a woman. The woman screamed that the man had hit her and almost killed her. The hotel boy intervened and the argument ended, but they didn't call the police and they even allowed the man to stay in another room and only charged him $7 for that room (I was in the hotel lobby and heard them charge him for the room the next day). When I went to talk to reception about what had happened the night before and when I said that I would not stay at that hotel if that man did not leave, they told me that he would stay there because his stay had not yet ended and they said that if I wanted to leave "it's up to you" and when I said that I was leaving, they immediately said "11:30", the checkout time. It was 10:30. They didn't even apologize, nothing!! And when the attacker appeared at reception, they asked him if he was okay, they said that the girl had already left and that if he wanted he could go back to his room. And they even took his bag to the room!!! The girl also spoke Laotian because when the hotel boy intervened, she spoke Laotian and then English with the man who hit her, so she may have been an escort. This also does not speak well of the type of tourists that this hotel receives and treats with great care and attention. Regrettable. I left feeling very sad and upset, it ruined my mood for the day and for my trip to Luang Prabang. That and the absurd price that the tuktuks that stopped in front of the hotel asked us to pay for a 3-minute trip.

The hotel was super clean. The staff was very helpful, polite, reliable, professional, and friendly. The location was good, not far away from the daily market. The room was big. The swimming pool was clean. I felt like home staying there. The atmosphere was very welcome with the service mind of the staff. The hotel is definitely recommended.

Lovely room, central location and very flexible staff. We had to make last minute changes to our booking and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was also lovely and the hotel grounds are stunning. Very close to the amazing night market.

The hotel is easy to find, airy, clean, large and beautiful rooms. Staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. Breakfast is varied, in short everything is great, I will come back next time.

The room is a great size, the pool was wonderful, it is a 10 min walk from the UNESCO world heritage site. Breakfast is great. Bikes are available to borrow. There are drinks available to purchase at reception. All round, really recommend it. Also there's a nice sandwich place across the street, and a fruit stall at the end of the street.

We book for one night but we stay 2 more night because we love the hotel . Room is clean , the pool is clean , breakfast is good , staff friendly and carefully for you everything.

Breakfast is good and many things to eat. everyday has different dishes. rooms are clean and comfortable. very sweet sleep. swimming pool is available. Staff are very freindly, kind, and cooprative. Location is very good.I highlly recommand this hotel.

Sitting by the Lily pond for breakfast. There was a well maintained pool for cooling down and relaxing.

The hotel was located outside of the main central area and river area but we walked everywhere and felt safe. Lots of walking but tuk tuks would have been available.....

The location, cute hotel and great, very clean pool were all perfect! The romantic water lily pond is also an interesting place. Breakfast is small but delicious and the homemade jam is amazing.

Beautiful hotel in traditional Lao style slightly outside the old town (15 min walk). Breakfast served next to lotus pond. Pool area also nice. Friendly and helpful staff, also helped me rent a scooter.

Comfortable beds with nice curtains for privacy. Good AirCon keeping the room cool. Very nice breakfast with several options available.
