The staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was complete and good. The facilities are very charming.

Rooms are too dark and the bathroom was nothing like the pictures online (too small, too comfortable, very dark)

The welcome by the staff was over the top amazing. Welcome drink, welcome massage, welcome snacks, let us take your bags, come relax while we get you signed in.It was amazing. And everyone during our stay was so kind and helpful. Love that there’s a free shuttle into town. Large umbrellas if you need them. Really beautiful colonial rooms. And such a dreamy pool. This place is one of my absolute favorites. I will keep coming back.

Breakfast options could be better.

- The grounds- The pool always had sun and shade- The old world feel of the entire place. It was just stunning- Comfortable beds & pillows- Super nice shower, rain shower with great pressure- The pool felt glam- The extensive cocktail menu- Shuttle into the town center - The absolute nicest staff- The location is close to all the good stuff for such a great price and beautiful charm everywhere you look in the hotel. I would 100% come back.

- Breakfast wasn’t amazing. Not bad just not great.- Shuttle brings you into town but not back to the hotel

Fantastic staff, beautiful gardens and pool

Rooms need a bit of a refresh with bathrooms and aircon not as efficient as it could be

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful colonial hotel. The room is comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. We particularly enjoyed the pool. Every staff is so attentive and professional. I would come back again.

Nothing at all

the pool, the decor, the attention to detail and the style of the place. The staff were very friendly. The location was excellent too. It was a relaxing and elegant stay.

Our room was quite dark - not enough natural light or enough light in the room. The painted walls in the bathroom with the border look a little outdated.

Lovely place ideally located within walking distance of all key sites, with friendly staff!

The room was very big, just like it appeared in the photos. Had a garden outside which had chairs to sit in, not private but certainly calming.He Lao style Massage, charged at a reasonable rate, was exceptionally good.

Gorgeous architecture. So easy to walk to night market from there. Wonderful service! Good breakfast also.

Beautiful hotel within easy strolling distance of this fabulous town. Lovely atmosphere and very stylish, good breakfast, great shower, helpful staff. Pool was a real bonus after hot days out exploring.

Partition walls between our room and next door meant it could feel like you knew your neighbours very well! Quite expensive to be sharing a room!

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. They were able to help us with everything, from booking trips to the Falls, to reservations at local restaurants to trips around the town to remembering our breakfast orders. The foot massage was brilliant. And Phat at the breakfast counter was brilliant.

A beautiful hotel in an old beautiful mansion with a gorgeous garden and pool, large comfortable rooms and above all a wonderful staff.

The Maly team will do everything to make you feel at home and is very service oriented; the breakfast is nice; the room (ground floor, facing the pool) was nice (although some people may find it somewhat dark); good bed; the location is a 10-15 min walk from 'downtown' but close enough to some very good restaurants and in a nice, green and somwhat residential area

The pool is really chilly and therefore not very comfortable to swim in; The bathroom is pretty basic for this price level; For dinner, the hotel's restaurant cannot compete with other restaurants in LP/within walking distance

Hotel is very calm and welcoming. The decor was tasteful and elegant. Staff are so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was very pleasant. Room was clean and tidy.

The quality of the finish in the bathroom could be better. The shower leaked into the bedroom floor. There needs to be more space for personal belongings in the bathroom.

The room was very dark - the main window was directly on the pool area so everyone could see inside. The bathroom didn’t have any space for comfortably storing and keeping things near the sink and was very dark too.

The paths round the grounds were uneven with lots of steps which made it difficult with a pushchair and a small child
