Fantastic location for the town centre. Lovely old building. Good breakfast & helpful staff. Noise not a problem but we do sleep with ear plugs.

We had a no smoking ground floor room with balcony, which was lovely. However smoking is permitted on the balconies, which are separated by a trellis, and our neighbour smoked. This unfortunately meant that we were unable to sit on our balcony when he was there. It also meant that we had to close our door to prevent the smoke from entering our room.

Amazing location, right off the street of the night market. There are 3 layers to the doors, so it blocks out the street traffic noise. Our room had a cute porch that looked out over the river.

Location of the hotel was amazing, great view from the room and staff were really helpful. Very close to all the nice bars and restaurants, the night market and the temples.

The location is very central, staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms and beds are super comfy and cozy, there is a lot of space. There is a nice french colonial vibe in the hotel which makes your trip more authentic.

The rooms which are on the street are very noisy which can affect your sleep. The noise starts early morning from 4-5am due to the trourist groups parking their vans in front of the hotel so when they do so, the walls and the windows are shaking. Also, after that the drivers are talking loud, shouting so after 05am it is impossible to sleep. Eventually they will go away after 07am but after that you are already awake...

Good location, easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes , night market.Staff helped us with booking train tickets - easy process.Owner friendly and polite.

Best location with the best view of Nam Khan River. I had stayed here 18 years ago. After all these years I still like it here the best. Very friendly and helpful staffs.

Wonderful staff, facilities, and location. The walls are soundproof!- is exactly what I have been seeking in LPB.

In the town centre but not noisy once balcony doors were shut.Fan and air con, room had everything you needed and the shower was very hot.Drinks available to buy on site which meant we could have a beer on our balcony looking out at the river and mountains.Helpful staff - they arranged our taxi to the airport.

Laos made me cry because of it’s beauty. You can’t wish more wonderful view that you have from this little cozy hotel. The old house in the best shape. The wood is shiny, the smell is very pleasant. You are in the heart of this amazing town and can get to everything by foot. Just lovely❤️

Our stay was too short.

Excellent location. Our second stay there we were upgraded to the front corner room with a stunning view. Quiet, easy walking distance everywhere in the city, staff helpful with onward travel, laundry,and general information. Good supply of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was standard but tasty, good coffee.

The building is quite charming, the view is interesting since it's in front of the river and you can see the local life. The room is nice and the bed is good. The staff was very helpful and tried to provide for our requests. The breakfast was good.

Unfortunately the building is old, which can be noisy, specially if you stay on the ground floor, you can hear people walking in the upstairs rooms and closing and opening the doors, this will obviously depend on how loud the guests above are. The shower takes around 2/3 minutes running to become hot and that's quite a waste, it's also hard to balance between hot/cold water.
